I think Shinji is onto something about the adult forms being an “idealized” form, I mean isn’t that what’s Natsumi’s Onee-San form suppose to be all about? I don’t think that’s what they’re actually grow up into.

Possible, certainly, but Shinji implied that V11's were real and V16's were idealised, when that makes no sense. They looked different between the two because they were meant to be different ages.

Either they're all idealised, or none of them are. Your insination there that they all are, certainly does make more sense than any of them being accurate at all, yes, but that wasn't what Shinji was saying.

As I keep saying, I haven’t had time to read the last bunch of volumes word for word. So I didn’t really know any of the context behind the volume 16 scene, hence the question mark when I talked about it.

Ah, okay, fair enough.

Yeah, Natsumi makes them adults in V16, rather than older teens in V11 - that's why they look so different.

Okay, now I know thanks.

Honestly, until you said so above, I wasn’t even sure how Kotori looked like that in volume 16 in the first place. (I did guess it was Haniel though) I’m pretty much operating on what spoilers I can find since volume 13. I need to make time to read the rest of the books, but that doesn’t look like it’ll happen any time soon........

Ahw, Shinji! I could try and write summaries for 13+ for you?

Sadly I’m not school-young anymore.
Work, and other personal things going on that add up to not-so-much free time going on..........quite a while now. >.<

Anyways, from volume 13 on.

Sorry, I guess I forgot to include V11 in my post, but itís like you said, I do believe that all past examples are idealized.

TAKE MY MONEY AQUAMARINE.
But the original drawing was already censored by Kurumi's hair, wasn't it?

The real clincher for this figure could be if they included an electronic voice player with Kurumi's voice actress saying Kurumi's line from that illustration with the figure. It might be all we ever get of an animated version of Vol. 16, sadly, because short of a miracle we're not likely to get more animated seasons of Date A Live. I would be interested if they switched to the OVA model like Strike the Blood did for its 2nd and 3rd seasons though.

There is also a chance that we'll get teasers of the covers for Date A Live 20 and Date A Bullet 5, so keep your eyes open.

EDIT: Updated Summary, courtesy of Kiyoe on Twitter:

DATE A LIVE 20: TOHKA WORLD

Thanks to Mio's sacrifice, the world has been saved. Everyone smiles, happy and comfortable, living a peaceful daily life. However Shido feels as though something is amiss. Then, Kurumi reveals a shocking truth: "This world is not our original world. This is the world created by someone's hand."
In this saved world, there is only one girl who was not saved, her name is...
In order to make the date between Shido and that girl a success, and give her the privilege of expressing her true feelings to Shido...
"We will also participate in the date,"
Will the Spirits make a difference in this war/date?

The 20th Volume from the new world, where, once again, the Boy meets the girl!

So...yep. This Volume is a dual callback to Rinne Utopia and Tohka Dead End, by the look of things. Definitely looks final, despite it not being advertised as such...which means there'll probably be a last-minute Tachibana twist at the end to stretch things out to at least V21.
They show a silhouette of Tohka's new form, but they don't appear to show anything else on the V20 front.

And now, regarding Ren Dystopia...

It's set after Volume 11 - which, considering Rinne Utopia was released after S1, and set after V4, where S1 ended, and Ars Install, Rio Reincarnation, and Mayuri Judgment were all released after S2, and take place after V7, where S2 ended...Date A Live III is now basically confirmed to end at V11.

A mysterious event changes the world.
The mysterious Spirit, Ren, attracted the Spirits to the world of dreams, where she exists to fulfill a certain "desire". A big uproar happened, and after all is done, Ren's true goal is......?
Also pay attention to the "desires" of the 9 spirits that surround Shido!

Credit for all this goes to Kiyoe.
What exactly was Tohka Dead End? Was it in an Encore volume?

I heard some rumblings about how Ren might just be the Inverse form of Rinne. What if this third game actually featured inverse spirits too?

Tohka Dead End was Volume 1.

Ren is almost certainly not actually Inverse Rinne. She is themed around dreams, whereas Rinne is themed around Samsara. It is, however, quite possible that she is another aspect of Rinne that manifests as an Inversion of her, like Rio. Utopia and Dystopia are antonyms, Ren's appearance looks like a cross between Rinne's Spirit and human forms only darker, and both have a pronounced flower theme.
Ren Dystopia may feature other Inversions, but its highly unlikely - the focus of the game is Ren, after all. Besides, Nia and Mukuro aren't in it, so we'd still be missing them.

Also, Ren Dystopia is the fourth game, not third.
Rinne Utopia, Ars Install, Rio Reincarnation, Ren Dystopia.

I meant they didn’t censor it beyond the original image like putting a bra on her.
But like I said, they probably put something on her down under since they can’t have full nudity in DAL without making it 18+, which they won’t do.

New post for copying from another thread.

Kuroageha posted this in the HxH thread, I’m assuming by accident.

Like how Mio's Deus meant God.

Forgot I never actually posted this.

Date A Live Fragment: Date A Bullet 5
Released on March 20th, 2019

Kurumi Tokisaki VS Four Dominions!
Kurumi Tokisaki and her companions have finally reached the Seventh Region, and prepare to journey on to the next from there. However, in order to leave Netzach, Kurumi will have to win big in a casino?! She will have to face a dangerous Poker match with the Dominions of the Four Regions who want to halt Kurumi's advancement!

No cover yet.

So, it looks like we'll be dealing with Yuri Sagakure (Netzach's Dominion), Ouka Miyafuji (Tiphereth's Dominion), Haraka Kagarike (Geburah's Dominion) and Ariadne Foxlott (Chesed's Dominion) all in one go. This makes a fair amount of sense, as Volume 4 went out of its way to describe Chesed, Geburah and Tiphereth - and how they look and work (thus meaning we don't need to see them), and these four (together with Kareha, who was dealt with in V4) were the most hostile to Kurumi in V3.

Seeing as Date A Live is probably ending at 22 Volumes, and Date A Bullet is highly unlikely to continue beyond its end, I think its quite likely that the real reason we're dealing with those four now, is to have Volumes 6 open to deal with the Chokmah, and its Dominion, Maya Yukishiro (who says she has a 'special purpose' that she cannot let the White Queen have, and that she'd kill the other Dominion's to protect it) and then Volume 7 to deal with the final region and the ending.

Also, ten-to-one Kurumi is a bunny girl on V5's cover.

So, "unsaved" girl according to cover is Tohka-Mio.

So question is still open, will Tohka and Mio (her crystal) separated and "if yes" what happened with Mio crystal after.

Mio's dead. This is just Tohka.

As for what would happen to Mio's powers if seperated from Tohka - and if they even can be seperated now - is anyone's guess.
