There will be a stress test coming soon they labeled it Pre-Open beta. You can find more on it over on Phantasy Star Fan Blog, including guide how to sign up, if you do not have a Sega ID. In case you already have a Sega ID, just log on and register your interest.
In any case, to log in to your sega ID, you need to go through captcha system using katakana. An online virtual keyboard is one solution, but in long term you might want to learn how to type with your own keyboard. |

Not too sure. I read the the characters form the close beta are transferable to the open beta and final release, but not certain about characters from this stress test. The character model itself shouldn't be a problem, Items and stats not sure.

Sorry peeps I put in the wrong month in one of my previous posts. Open beta starts in five days time, so the 21st of june, not july, as I wrongly posted.
Hope to see you guys happily hunting rappies and for loot. If people are interested maybe we can set up a fixed meeting area on one of the ships. |

Was pretty excited to check out the Open Beta since I missed the Pre-Beta(was over by the time I finish updating). Been a fan since I played PSO on the Gamecube.
But I hit the uninstall button at the start up folder by mistake and there was no way to stop it... Well time to do something else for another 5 hours.

Ships 1-5 are overcrowded. It will settle down eventually. Anyways if you want to play on the first few ships try avoid the time when the people in japan are playing, you will just cause high latency to the other players and eventually some of them will start b*tch*ng and moaning. So jump on those ship during the usual working time in japan.

Just finish tutorial and before I go ahead, wondering what ship has the most (or looks like the most) english speaking community. Is it channel 2 which at current time is somewhat overcrowded or have they moved onto another ship?
