I just realized something: Wasn't Tiger 217 the one used by Otto Cairus after the cupola of 213 (the original Cairus Tiger) was cut off?

Another thing: Maho used Tiger 212, which was used by Wittmann on occasions and was the main tank of Bobby Woll (Wittmann's old gunner).

It has partly to do with the fact that some of the production team ALSO worked on Strike Witches, plus Fumikane did Girls und Panzer's character design concepts (and is doing the LN art to boot).

I just saw the episode vostfr (finally) I loved .... and Anzio hahaha I did pa could prevent myself from laughing scary and I saw everything but they win our girls Oarai

How the heck is Saunders supposed to be one of the favorite teams if they have to go up against this? St. Gloriana would be woefully outmatched as well, but we can assume that they have better tanks than the ones they fielded.

Well, in Yukari's little spying attempt, it was revealed that Saunders had a lot more tanks than just the variety of Shermans they fielded. Apparently, nobody bothered bringing in tank destroyers, which Saunders had legions of.

And I suspect they have more than one Firefly, as well.
