TBH, while I've loved Chika up to now, she just lost a few points with me for what she said to Ishigami. Yes, I realize he's an awkward fellow and gave a very poorly-worded compliment, but he still said he liked the cute way she smells. With a guy as socially awkward and stressed as Ishigami seems that could be a fatal blow. I hope at some point there's at least some positive for the poor guy. It's one thing to terrify and threaten him, but he shouldn't be made to feel humiliated.

I already knew from the manga, but this series is pure gold. If it doesn't get more than one season the world is unfair.

Yeah, I pretty much felt that same way. But.....then he totally dug his own grave this episode and I have 0 sympathy.

A great episode but spoiled by the messup at the culmination of the wiener part. In the manga fujiwara says:

Spoiler for Not really a spoiler but manga version of the finale:

She does NOT mention "come of out mouth" which makes it open to the kind of interpretation where the President makes unfortunate conclusions.
Shame. Coz this spoils one of the iconic moments.

On the other hand they ADDED lines to the subsequent Ishigami bit which are pretty good addition, as is the sea of blood

As is proper for the demon of chaos with zero mercy

I think the anime was fine and it was more of an issue with the subs. Sadly not a surprise coming from CR which really has struggled with this show. Just going by ear it sounds as if they got the manga wording on point. Which makes sense since otherwise Shirogane's reaction wouldn't work.

A really great adaption once again. I felt bad for Ishigami, even if he did bring this on himself this time (but let's be honest, he just said what everybody is thinking). If you want to talk about girls behind their backs, make sure they're not at your back.
