I'm only familiar with Karate but as far as I know even in taekwondo Dan is for black belts.

Most likely its for taekwondo, because its a Korean manga after all.

I am bit complex, that he has a black belt (if true), maybe its a nesscary perquisite for bullying.

Tell me if I'm wrong but a 2-dan would mean he has at least 5 years of experience. If that's really true then that's another thing the author didn't plan ahead which is a bit annoying. Redhead has never shown any skill in taekwondo, heck, in any martial arts. So far when Jae Gu was standing, readhead would always use amateurish punches (even in a flashback in the recent chapter. He even showed up with a baseball bat one time - what a fine 2nd degree blackbelt taekwondo fighter he is

Even if the rating 6.0 is just the equivalent to a 2-dan in taekwondo (since it says "uses:kickboxing") i call BS on that, redhead has never been shown to be a trained fighter.

The same kind of blunder that pictured Lee Mi Nam as pure boxer even though in his match agains Moon he used a kick.

The reason Mi Nam use a kick is because basically all boxer don't expect a kick attack. And thought that it would give him the edge he needed to beat Moon Young

The problem isn't WHY he did it...it's that the author is trying to establish him as a pure boxer now when in the first fight he used a kick.
It's not a big deal really...just slightly unnerving when thinking back on it.

Cuts in gloved fighting sports are normal but with boxing gloves and like that? I would understand with MMA gloves... Well it looks big but not that deeps, I can't read korean but they probably stopped the fight to see if he can go on with that cut. Possibly they'll stop the bleeding and warn him that if it opens up again he'll lose the match (Doctor Stoppage). Then there will be the Red haired prick trying to aim for the cut and Jae Gu doing some epic shit and kicking his ass before it starts to bleed again...or something like that. And no...that cut should leave a scar...though him having a badass scar like that wouldn't be too bad. Now to wait for the actual translation.

Lowest rated GotW chapter on naver so far (and it keeps dropping it seems) and I agree, that's not what we wanted to see, even if it's not over yet. On another note, is that blood running down his forehead at the end or is that a big ass cut? You can't cause such a cut with just gloves.
