Is it me or was the brother really clueless of his sister's rideback activity until the end of this ep ?

How can it be ? I mean, he's pictured as a biiiig Rideback fan, dumb enough to pull what we saw in this ep just to mount a good RB.
He has a huge collection of RB-related books/magazines, followed his sister's course and was totally awed by it... But never cared to open the last issue of that Rideback magazine-thing to see who that new "Rideback Princess" was ?

It seems a little odd.

I first thought that maybe that particular issue of the Rideback magazine hadn't reached subscribers or newstands (ie, the issue that we saw at the beginning of the episode was a pre-release/just-released copy, or something like that; it's probably a monthly magazine, if not quarterly, which could also leave a bit of a gap between the race occuring and publication), but even then I expect that he follows some other media which might have mentioned the race results (unless Rideback racing is so obscure that no other media cover it). Maybe the GGP has made various information services a bit harder to use? He doesn't seem to spend much time at home, so it's hard to tell how much media he sees or has access to.

There are a lot of possibilities that we might shoe-horn in to give Kenji an excuse, but none of them might be valid. ^_^;

Yes it was. Watched it earlier this week. That's pretty quick though for episode 6. Not bad.

If you remember right, she had the same look in ep 4 before someone snapped her back into focus. I suspect she still has some issues on how to deal with that hot potato that's been tossed to her. Once she starts embracing the fear I bet there will be alot less of these moments.

I liken frostii to IZ's quality. srsly i think is more of a low quality group. I like how Rin isn't lying to herself and thinks that she did it because it was the rush, not because of her desire to save Shouko (who i could care less about.) i'll reiterate that she probably would have been fine if she had stayed put like a good hostage, but w/e..

it'll be interesting to see how this plays out. since both the rebels and ggp will probably want to get Rin now.

As much as I agree, letting something like that happen would probably traumatize Rin for life. They weren't going easy either.



Megumi is giving me "This won't end well" vibes, snooping around where she shouldn't be just like a certain character from Gundam 00. Granted this is "less dangerous" and easier but still..

That japanese woman in the GGP, (The one who ordered All Out on Rina) is acting kind of suspiciously with her facial expressions/thoughts. She smirked when she saw the picture of Tenshirou in the file, too.

That being said, the BGM in Ride Back is awesome, especially during races/high speed chases. The ED is great, too.

Does the textless version usually show up before the R2 DVDs do? The DVD and Blu-ray aren't out until 24 April...

If she had to watch the GGP smack her brother around a bit more, she'd surely have stronger anti-GGP thoughts. ^_^; It would be excessive though, and I wonder if we'll hear anything about the physical condition of any of the other bosozoku riders in the next episode. They should be in pretty bad shape (if not dead) from what they went through. Maybe we'll get blood trails on the road from their falls on the DVD/BR versions?

Yeah, I don't think that it's going to go that far, but I am wondering if she'll be able to sneak out of the area (and if she can get her pictures to some outlet I wonder how much of a grip on the media the GGP has).

Just what will Rin and Kenji go though next time? <sigh> Gotta wait another five days to find out. ;_; Rin's actions were only self-defence, since the GGP never attempted to communicate with her (well, in this episode at least), and she didn't take any offensive actions. ;p

I'm going to have to pay more attention to the music. I haven't really been noticing it (or at least remembering it afterwards). ^_^;;

Not that they likely are just going to cover up for the murders, but I believe that they had planed them in advance. Hell, the way the GGP "tests" had been set up, it wouldn't surprise me if even the bikes that were handed to the biker gang, had come from the GGP themselves.

I like the series quite a bit, but one of the things that bothers me is how forced the GGP is being made to look evil. It's too heavy-handed and will probably short change us of any depth into what GGP is and what makes them tick.
