Yes, both Natsu were voiced by the same person.

This episode is great. The addition of Edolas Gajeel actually helped Gajeel which was not explained in the manga. It is funny that they commented how similar they are.

Poor Edolas Natsu, he must be "abused" so hard by Edo-Lucy that he got a split personality. In car, he is really cocky. That is the only time if he and Natsu were to fight, he could win.

For clarification I was referring to a spoiled "joke" this time and not a twist... as to the twists that where spoiled, I recall no one whining about the now foreshadowed spoilers where ass pulls in when the manga came out since there was some foreshadowing for all them (all be it much less blatantly obvious as it is now).

Won't disagree that this arc is the worst of any FT arc plot wise and in need of some editing (the worst three are usually considered Tower of Paradise, OS, and Edolas... with ToP & OS just ending very poorly but Edolas weak overall) ; but I do, at times, think it's one of the funniest arcs... so there killing some great jokes with these edits and that is a shame.

Eeeehhhh?! I considrr this arc one of the best! I had no problems with it in mang at all. This arc and the one with invasion at Fairy Tail to take Lucy back were my faves.

The worst arc could be the one with Nirvana, it just kept dragging -_-

Very good, the pace is back, and the music during Edolas' Natsu riding the car was just amazing. Can't wait for the OST3.

EDIT: one thing I forgot: the part where Scary Lucy wonders if she likes being pressured... BDSM inside. XD

It was kind of funny to see the split with Edolas Natsu inside the car and then outside of it. While being good with transportation (being a speedy delivery guy) made sense for opposites, it seemed odd since I couldn't see that kind of Natsu being pushed around by Lucy. How he behaved outside of the vehicle made much more sense. I really thought Natsu was going to beat himself up after hearing all that he said, but instead it was just about transportation . I do wonder if they can make it in time. Sure they made a lot of distance in that vehicle, but will it be enough for them to walk from there? Plus what kind of self proclaimed delivery guy drops his package off before the destination?

Way too much fun with multiple Lucys. Two wasn't enough so let's summon Gemini . Poor Lucy went from the new strongest to normal Lucy thanks to Loke not showing up. Some self proclaimed prince not showing up in a pinch . The weakness of spirit summoning shows itself. If the spirits have that time reserved or are busy then the user is on their own.

At least it makes sense now why Lucy could use magic. That pill from Mystogan must have somehow transferred her magical supply over, or maybe it just gives her a large supply of magic for the trip. Either way it's pretty handy and too bad Natsu didn't get one. I might have gave Lucy a handful for the trip so if she found anyone then she could pass them along.

So Mystogan is still around and saved Lucy and Gajeel and transported them to Edolas. I wonder if that pill is the reason they can use magic.

Not just 2 Lucy's but Gemini joined inand made it 3. Didn't like Edo Lucy with short hair. Like how she was proclaiming herself as the current strongest member of FT. Seems their more similar than each other thinks.

2 Gajeels were great. Liked the part about being good at sining and instruments. Looks like they got a plan in motion.

Edo Natsu was aesome in the car, but outisde shows his true colors. I thought something was off when they made the comment about him crying on Gray's shoulders all the time.

It is a pitty that Lucy was not able to properly show off. If Aria was able to kick some butts then I think Lucy could summon anyone in Loke's place. Heck, Virgo alone had kicked Natsu and Lucy way bacj when she was not aprt of Lucy's collection.

Seems like they followed the Manga quite well, with a few extras added between. However the pacing seems slightly slower than what would have been better.

Personally, I think it could actually be slower and flesh out the fun aspects of the different worlds.

I always thought the manga kind of pushed through the arc too fast without delving enough into the delicious aspects of dual worlds and separate personalities. Maybe not to the point where all of them would fight eachother or anything, but maybe play on the comedy and situational stuff more.

Then again, Fairy Tail seems to have a habit of trudging through, even if it sometimes seems too fast.

It went from prime time at 6:30 PM on Monday to 10:30 AM on Saturday.

If you want to make a fair comparison, you need to compare the ratings with the previous occupier of that timeslot, which was held by Bakugan Battle Brawlers
That was pulling in around 1.3-1.8%.
Fairy Tail in its new timeslot is pulling around 1.5-2%, although it seems to have had an off week or two.

Fairy Tail seems just slightly edgy to me for 1030 on Saturdays. I think the evening slot was a better fit.

Isn't Hughes supposed to be Midnight without the makeup and what not?
While Sugar Boy's closest Earthland relevant character would be that reporter from that magazine who always said "cool" to an irritating extent.

Anyway Ep 81 was awesome.
Edo-Natsu = epic inside a car, not outside.

Even without magic Natsu can still eat fire however that still doesn't return his magic unfortunately.
It turns out Carla's plan turned into a trap. Someone must be feeding her info into her mind. That seems most likely to be the old guy'z power unless it's one of the cats who will presumably be introduced next episode when they enter the land of cats. That explains why Happy doesn't know anything because he presumably isn't considered assertive/bossy enough.

From the kings speech presumably his next goal is to turn all of Earthland into a lacrima. The citizenry seem to treat him like a god. It sounded like he's implying that he can create lacrima out of nothing though. I'm going to hold onto my theory he wants to become immortal from this.

Considering moe!Natsu's personality now I'm expecting something cool from him in the future. This episode was kind of slow and melancholy but next episode looks like it will be fun with all the cats but might end up being exposition heavy.

Those tiny rocking horse things were really cute and it's funny how Natsu tried to ride one despite his transport fear.

Pacing was pretty poor once the cave adventure started, though apart from that it was a good episode. Lacrima and last scene were done very nicely.

So how did Gajeel make it to the city so fast. Well let's see his plan that's in motion now with his other self. Not surprising the people worship the king since he provides them with magic for their city. Wanted to punch just like Natsu wanted to.

Lucy shows how strong she is by making fire and using Taurus. I wonder if the writing on that passage meant anything. So Charla's memories were actually apart of her mission to lead the earthland people to Erza. These exceeds must be royalty as well. Looks like we'll get info on them next week.
