i hate how they potrait ryofui as wicked bad guy because he sacrificed many of Qin's things to achieve his goal yet eisei getting praised on his way towards tyranny, literally will sacrifice hundred thousands of people with his conquest, more wicked than ryofui. i dont know about history but i bet Qin will fall because civil war or whatever after they unified china due to revenge and stuff

relax, The historical Luu Buwei and Yingzheng are not this stoopid as Haru Yasuhisa (Kingdom)'s portrayal. thhey are as what people say as enigmatic person ever lived.

Luu Buwei was what they say as 'ambitious man who never exist before in thousands year in history of China'. this historical Luu shared Yingzheng belief of unification and making Qin as the successor of Heaven Mandates after Zhou lost them.

Yingzheng was a visionary , reformist and one of three China Greatest emperor beside Tang Taizong (Li Shimin) and Kangxi of Qing (Xuanye). he established a system that went on living for the next 2000 years (after Sun Yat Sen established Kuomintang.... if i am not wrong)... centralism of empire which he engineered and planned with Legalist Li Si. he is the man who created the blue print of China from Qin to Qing. he is not bright eyed idealist like Mencius, and you will see how ingenious Yingzheng is after he get the service of Han Fei, Li Si, and finally strategist Wei Liao.

at first after reading about Qin Shihuang from Ren Changhong and Wang Xuanming illustrated story i was quite perplexed and stunned reading someone like Luu Buwei, but reading more about him from Zhanguoce and Shiji and finally Luushi Chunqiu.... you will know finally what kind of genius he is, even surpassing Machiavelli, Medici, Plato, Aristotles, Socrates or perhaps even Ibnu Sina perhaps :P

Qin unification war was not simple conquest but a combination of ingenious statesmanship, politic, strategy, and military deployment. this is why Wei Liao Zi was interesting book to study as well.

and... if i recall nowaday PRC follow Deng Xiaoping and Lee Kuan Yew politics.

It's a combination of both.Legalism,the ideology supported by Ying Zheng,is practiced by the Chinese government.At the same time however,capitalism is at an all time high despite the being supposedly communist/socialist.

Qin just won't survive because of the BS laws Qin has.Basically,everyone's a slave of the emperor in the Qin Empire.If the emperor wants something built,you build it.Why aren't you getting paid?You are a slave of the emperor,duh.If you don't got to the building site on time even by a few days,you get executed.You didn't finish the building project on time,everyone gets executed.Basically,Qin,after conquering all it's territories,made no effort to win the loyalty of the people it conquered.Worse then that,it alienated the original people of Qin by applying the same BS draconian laws on them.This is why there were massive revolts within a year after Ying Zheng died and the empire was overthrown within four years after he kicked the bucket.The only other emperor that got close to doing the same thing as Ying Zheng and actually made it out alive was Emperor Wu of Han(in terms of accomplishment,I think this guy is on par with Ying Zheng and Li Shimin).Even then,by the end of his reign,he was forced to publicly apologize about his harsh rule and warmongering.

well, i recall Pharaoh's people in ancient egypt , the Sudras during Yajurveda also did not get paid. so basically he did what most sovereign of that time does. i recal medieval europe was not so different.

what? you put the very person who is too ambitious to see the world outside but forgot his own home as one of the great emperor among Taizonb and shihuang? indeed he expand the empire as far as Yuezhi.... but his action also exhaust the national resource build by two generation of his father (Wen Di and Jing Di). though he had numerous reliable general but his escapade was too hasty and not planned well.

in my opinion only Wen and Jing is the better emperor.

also Shihuang do made numerous effort to elevate his Black headed men's life . the only problem is he live too short and his successor is a moron who can not distinguish horse and deer.

The problem, they think of china as world.

And if he really mange to change them to become like UK ( United Kingdoms) or USA( United State America) then peace can be True, at-least inside China.

But they still think of themselves as separate nation, that why they always in battle with each other.

There was a side story where she entertained the notion of getting involved with Shin already. So yeah, that might happen.

Shin hardly broke a sweat taking out those guys. And he was understandably pissed off at this commander who takes pleasure in cutting down civilians. So the princess is safe, now what about the king? I presume the enemy general (and father of that scumbag commander) is targeting him.

How can you guys not mention Zhu YuanZhang and Han Gaozi Liu Beng in the history of some of the greatness chinese emperors? The Ming destoryed the Mongol and Han made Huns their bitches. Also some emperors from the Song Dynasty, richest China ever in history but even more passive than the current japan. If only just the Song is good as the Tang at fighting war, then West will have a true competition in the East...
