Second BD arrived:
Still haven't checked the actual episodes to see if there are any differences. The extra content this time is the so-called "Episode 0", a special called "Enter the world of Re:CREATORS" that aired the week before the series started. The next BD will have, as extra, a CD with cast talk. The special that aired last week will be in BD 6 instead. |

I disagree with you with regard to her actions and thought-processes tho. You're only seeing her for her crazy side, but underneath all of that craziness, she's arguably the 2nd or 3rd most intelligent of all the creations currently. The whole working principle behind her power is reason enough to acknowledge how much thought she puts into things. Her power isn't straightforward like the others and is quite roundabout in its execution. It takes a lot of thought and preparation to effectively use her power. She has to rely on her wordplay and when against enemies wary of her power/just as intelligent as her, she has to try harder to incorporate ways to either get them to lower their guard or to fall for any potential traps she may set. Lastly, I wasn't likening her to the Joker. You completely missed the point. The point I was trying to make is that the last boss doesn't need to be the strongest enemy that the protagonists must face, they can be the weakest character in the entire cast, but because of one specific trait or quality they possess, it compensates for this weakness and makes them a worthwhile and legitimate threat.

Final boss obviously has to be strongest, that's why he is final boss. What you mean is main Villain aka "Big Bad". For these being powerful is not necessary, but their existence need to be real threat for one or other reason. Magane doesn't need that to have fun and she doesn't really care about anything else anyway-

It doesn't really make any sense to continue with this if no progress is being made and all we're really doing is wasting each other's time as a result...

Well, it feels we're on the final part.
Spoiler for Episode 16 spoilers:
Minimanga: https://imgur.com/a/vxfTw https://www.sunday-webry.com/events/...d/interview16/ Spoiler for Episode 16 spoilers:
http://recreators.tv/special/intervi...erview_06.html Yuya's VA interview - I'll get back to it in a bit. - He got basically no explanation about Yuya while auditioning for the role, just a basic description of the setting; - So, he tried on his own using as base the fact that Yuya's the main character rival; - He initially voiced his character as a bit of insane guy, though he notices he becomes more human as the story progresses; - In fact, he says that in the end Yuya isn't really a "bad guy" or a "good guy" but something in the middle, and he was conscious of it while voicing him; - Yuya's enjoying living in the world as it is, and that's why he doesn't want it to be destroyed; - That scene that left him a big impression was when Yuya gets robbed of his sword ability by Magane (not to mention Hangaku later), in fact he was a bit shocked and even regretted playing the scene; - He jokes that he lost due to a couple quarrel (referring to the fact he's married to Maya Sakamoto - Magane); - When asked why Yuya only uses a nickname with Meteora he simply says he likes the nickname, laughing; - He says also that Yuya is a very organized and rational character, despite what the looks; - He touches a bit on his relationship with Rui, calling it a "delinquent feeling" (a remark he uses in other parts of the interview); - He praises the choice for Syo's voice; - He finishes the interview discussing the two axis of the show - the works of entertainment and the creators. Welp, that's it. I'm cancelling my preorders for the remaining BDs. Great job of making a boring Mary Sue like Meteora as the main character.
It's gonna be weird to own only the first volume

Hmm, another buildup episode...
I'm ready for the final battles tbh. Selestia getting back her Vogelchevalier and Yuya's weapon upgrade will play important roles. The question is how Altair will counterattack Meteora's plan as she seems confident with her own team. Oh man, the fan service this week got a few laughs out of me. Yuya's ripped LOL
