He sucks actually. My vote for Ukitake, the illness makes him a normal, not that overpowered captain and his zan is,well actaully are, two kawai twins.

well, let's see:

my #1 ever is AIZEN - SAMA

#2 hmmmmm i think Syunsui .. he is so kind & i love the way he's talking (Nanao-chan / Yama-ji)

#3 Byakuya ... all respect 4 him

the remaining taichous .. well i like them all .. each one of them got something

but the least two are Yama-Ji & the fox or dog (dunno) Komamura

Komamura has no love, not like Tousen or Yama-ji are much better.

Voted for Kenpachi because he is such a complex character. Even when he wants to be strong, he puts a limiter on himself when fighting an opponent. And the best thing about him? He gets lost all the time, and his lieutenant isnt helping much either.

Second favourite though would have to be Unohana, dont mess with this lady... You'll get hurt.

EDIT: Is there a favourite lieutenant thread around? Not that its really necessary since Renji and Matsumoto will dominate

Yamamoto Genryuusai Shigekuni FTW! I just like how the anime portrays him as an unbelievably strong shinigami who is fond of staying in the background unless really needed. His mysterious powers makes him an intriguing character as well. The best captain there is.

Zaraki Kempachi and Kurotsuchi Mayuri comes at a close 2nd.

Nice to see this old thread is Kicking, been really some good years since I created it, still, the top 3 have remain the same, and here I was hoping that my dear Shunsui have gained some popularity….

He still my favorite even if Im not updated with the series...
