After they graduate, they played a piano-version of it as Tomoya was heading back to the bakery. Which I thought was great, seeing how I'm honestly getting kinda tired of them using the exact same version of the exact same tune so many times.

Finally got around to reviewing the piano arrangement of Toki wo Kizamu Uta / TORCH and that the above opinion pretty much echoes my own. Toki wo Kizamu Uta doesn't sound too different from the version that Lia sings, but TORCH is a definite improvement and I really liked that one a lot.

based on the same tune that was originally Onaji Takami e, which may be why the piano version sounded very familiar.

As I have mentioned in the latest episode thread, one thing that distinguishes After Story from School Life is the music.
Episode 14 shows a lot of the more impressive solemn music, starting with: 夏時間 Natsu Jikan - OST Disc 2 Track 11 - Beginning of ep, before OP. One of my favourite tracks, exemplifies the "every day (summer) life" feel very, very well. 雪野原 Yuki no Hara - OST Disc 2 Track 1 - ~13.38 Nagisa falls ill and has to miss her graduation again. Emphasizes life can have its ups and downs. 遥かな年月 -Piano- Haru kana Toshitsuki (I hope I pronounced that one right) - OST Disc 2 Track 10 - ~16.02 - The graduation scene. I'll just quite from Maeda Jun's liner notes from the OST booklet: (Nagisa) expresses sadness and gratitude when looking back at all the happy moments she experienced in school as she graduates. These are but a few examples from the music of After Story. Just when I thought KEY could not top the impressive AIR soundtrack, these After Story tracks proved me wrong. As an aside, I liked how they used the piano version of this song as a prelude to the main version. The two tracks play their parts well, nearly melding unrecognizably into a single track IMO. |

Like everyone I'm just hoping for them tyo chage the ED somehow I dunno anything really. They could even reuse a piano score of previous track or just anbout anything.
As for the OP I thought it would be neat to use the second half of the Opening song follwoed with new animation. I highly doubt it, but like the 4 other girls do't really have that much of a prevailent place now. |

Does anybody know where I can get the sheet music for the OP and ED for each season with just the letter notes (A, B, C, D, E, F, G)? Thanks, I want to play them on the piano, but I can't read sheet music... :'[

Indeed, i can understand why.
I like to believe that "The Place Where Wishes Come True II" was wrote just for this part in the story. Such a beautiful piece --- and so damn fitting. It's easily a masterpiece in my books.
