I can't understand the drama CDs. I'd be really grateful if you'd explain the joke + the portmanteau for me

A portmanteau is something like "Bakemonogatari", which comes from combining "Bakemono" and "Monogatari".

Edit: I read the novel summary link. I'm still not sure what the Godeko event is, probably because it's late at night and I'm missing something obvious.

Sorry if this seems obvious, I'm still puzzling through all the plot summaries I'm finding in this massive thread (I basically started at page 1 and started going forward) so I haven't sorted everything yet.

-Before Araragi starts his story about what happened the day before the start of the second semester we are introduced to Oshino Ougi who Araragi met around winter.
-Ougi is a first year transfer student who Kanbaru introduced as "a cute kouhai"
-The first time they met, Ougi beat Araragi up, as to why and how it happened Araragi said he'll get to it at another time
-They have a conversation about danger and safety. Red means danger and green means safety yet when all the lights are red the street are still and safe as to when all the lights are green and chaos happens
-This talk about street lights reminds Araragi about Hachikuji
-We go back to August 20th
-On that day Hachikuji went to Araragi's house but when she left she forgot her backpack
-Araragi went out to find her
-During this time he runs into Ononoki
-Kagenui doesn't seem to be around and Ononoki responds by saying they are not always together
-Ononoki seems to have let go of her catchphase
-She seems to be lost so Araragi asks her if she is and they end up eating ice cream
-Ononoki is aware that Hachikuji is a ghost
-She reveals that she used to be a human. She is a shikigami and a tsukumogami
-In Japanese legend when an object is used for a hundred years, the object becomes a spirit
-A tsukumogami is an object that was used for almost a hundred years before being thrown out and becomes a spirit that hates its former owner
-The object Ononoki was of was a human
-Kagenui used her onmyōji powers to resurrect her
-The three of them, Araragi, Hachikuji and Ononoki are similar entities but different at the same time
-Vampires are immortal so they aren't dead per-se, Ononoki was dead once but resurrected, her life started anew so its like reincarnation to her, Hachikuji is constantly dead
-They go into the topic of who between them is the happiest considering their situation
-Before Ononoki leaves she asks him to ask Hachikuji the next time they meet about if she's happy after becoming a ghost
-In the end Araragi never did find Hachikuji that day
-Araragi reveals that even if someone came up to him to say he'll turn him back into a human, he'll refuse
-Around midnight Shinobu comes out to talk with Araragi
-It turns out that Araragi didn't do any of his summer homework
-He's been watching Heartcatch PreCure which makes no sense since Heartcatch was in 2010 and this series takes place in 2006
-Shinobu's solution to this problem is ask Hitagi or Tsubasa to lend him their homework
-Shinobu is actually 598 years old and 11 months
-Araragi talked about what Nadeko does about her homework and it turns out she straight out doesn't do it and just expect to get scolded at when school starts and that's it
-Araragi asks her to take out a time machine, she says she doesn't have one but they can try time traveling
-Two hours later they are at the white snake shrine
-They open up a time portal and they go through
-Time traveling isn't a simple matter as Shinobu has to focus on her energy and Araragi has to be the guide
-While they are traveling he starts to think about Hachikuji
-Araragi lost consciousness during the trip and wakes up in the middle of the day
-Shinobu explains the traveling back in time is like going against the flow of a river so it takes a lot more energy than going forward in time
-As they are leaving the shrine Araragi keeps questioning Shinobu whether or not they actually traveled back in time, so much so that Shinobu started crying because she felt he didn't trust her
-They meet a bunch of middle-school girls and Araragi asks them what date it is and it turns out they traveled back to 11 years ago May 13th
-They decide to make the best out of their situation and fool around for a couple of days before going back to the present
-They see Araragi from 11 years ago and Shinobu goes HNNNNGGGG
-Shinobu starts explaining how time works and she says that things that will happen will happen no matter and that if Araragi was destined to not finish his homework then no matter what they do he won't finish his homework
-Ararargi argues that then there was no point in them time traveling and Shinobu admits that she just followed his wishes so she could get donuts out of it
-Araragi decides to save Hachikuji from her death
-He realizes that he can't prevent her death forever but at least until after Mother's Day so she wouldn't become a ghost
-They try to find Hachikuji's house and during their search they meet 11 years ago Hanakawa
-Araragi goes HNNNNGGG and his outburst scares Hanakawa away
-He asks her where Hachikuji's mother's home is and she points him to a police station
-Since they are already there he decides to asks for direction there
-After they got the location of both Hachikuji's home and her mother's home they decide to stalk her the next day to prevent her death
-They went to the location of the cram school ruin but the place haven't been built yet and the place has a forest instead
-They found a playground where they decided to spend the night at (Shinobu didn't go back into Araragi's shadow and slept together)
-The next day they stake out near Hachikuji's home waiting for her to come out
-They waited until 11am and she still haven't come out
-Hachikuji's father then comes out and asks them if they have seen his daughter
-It turns out she left her home before they even woke up
-They try to find her and they did at the park where Araragi first met Hachikuji
-Araragi tries to approach her and ends up flipping her skirt and she runs away
-She runs into the middle of the street and Araragi narrowly saves her by grabbing her and jumping onto the other side of the road
-She tells him she's looking for her mother's house and Araragi decides to take her there
-After that they go back to the shrine and travels forward in time
-When they got back they realize that no one is in town
-They go back home and searched the house for any clues as to what happened and where in time they are
-They agree that its the apocalypse
-The last newspaper they have was on June 14, something happened between June 14th and June 15th
-They decide they need to travel back to June 14 to figure out what happen
-When they got to the shrine Shinobu realize all the energy in the area is gone
-Araragi sees that the ofuda he and Kanbaru came to place is different
-The one here sucks away all the energy around it
-He tries to take it off but gets bounced away and also charred his finger
-While all of this is happening night has already came and zombies start coming out
-They get surrounded but since the ofuda is here they can't get near
-They escape by having Shinobu carrying Araragi and jumping away with one big leap
-They see the whole town is fill with zombies and Araragi blames himself for causing this because of the time traveling
-Shinobu then tells him its actually her fault and tell him all those zombies are vampires created by her
-With no where to land Shinobu grew wings and kept both of them in the air until sunrise
-Shinobu is afraid he'll get mad if she told him the truth but he assure her that they'll always be together no matter what
-She then reminds him that June 14 was when Black Hanekawa v.2 came out, when Oshino left and when she ran away from the ruin
-She tells him that had he not found her that day she would have destroyed the world
-Her theory is that since he never met Hachikuji in this world, she never told him that she saw Shinobu at Mr. Donut and he never found her
-Araragi on the other hand doesn't believe so since he figures that he would have found out that she ran away sooner or later that day
-He however did believe that he never found her that day and wasn't able to ask for help when Black Hanekawa was on the verge of killing him
-It seems that if Araragi dies then Shinobu would become Kissshot again
-They promised each other that they'll die together but since Araragi died first she destroyed the world
-Black Hanekawa was probably the first victim
-Subordinates created by a vampire is more or less a clone of the master meaning if the master wants to destroy the world then the clones would want to do so too
-Shinobu gave Araragi freedom of this when he turned
-The zombies became this way because their vampire blood went berserk
-The next night they traveled to all sorts of famous place in order to find a energy hotspot but to no avail since they were all sealed
-They go to a supermarket to find food, they also picked up some fireworks
-They plan on using the fireworks as an SOS signal to see if there are other humans around
-Three days later they execute their plan
-The fireworks attracted the zombies and since it was cloudy they came out even though its day
-The zombies are weaken but so are Araragi and Shinobu so they can't fly away
-Then suddenly white rice started raining on the zombies
-The zombies scatter and they see only one figure
-It was a human woman carrying a backpack and an army knife
-Araragi asks for her name and she says Hachikuji Mayoi
-She confirms the spelling of Araragi's name and it turns out she has a letter from Oshino to him
-The letter explains to Araragi what happened
-The Araragi in this world is confirmed dead
-This Oshino had been searching around town for information about Kaiis since he got here and heard about how a mysterious higher schooler saved Hachikuji 11 years ago
-He also heard from office workers that were middle schoolers back then and a former street officer about this mysterious high schooler with a blonde girl
-He became an urban legend but Oshino knew it was him
-He concluded that Araragi traveled in time in order to save Hachikuji
-It seems that they didn't travel in time per-se but rather traveled to a travel timeline
-In this timeline Hachikuji is capable of being saved
-The Kissshot of this timeline is also still alive
-He says that Hachikuji is a strong girl but wouldn't be able to protect herself forever so he asks Araragi to save Hachikuji again
-Hachikuji offers to teach them some survival lessons but they refuse
-They prepare to battle Kissshot X and goes to the shrine
-They call her out and she appears but she looks like a mess with burns all around her
-She starts crying when she sees that there exists a world where she can be together with Araragi
-She offers her body to Shinobu so they can go back to their timeline, but before that she asks Araragi to pat her head as a final request
-They get back to their timeline and they leave the shrine
-When Araragi got to the bottom he runs into Hachikuji who is looking for him because of her backpack
-They go back to his house so they can get her backpack
-He asks Hachikuji Ononoki's question and she says that she's not happy about being a ghost but is happy about meeting Araragi

Hana

Spoiler:

-It the start of Kanbaru's third year as a high school student and of course that means Araragi and others have graduated
-Every once in a while she would have these dreams where her mother talks to her and starting giving weird life lessons
-It seems that ever since she was a toddler her mother never treated her like a child but an adult
-What this means is that Kanbaru was always told things that are beyond her maturity
-These life lessons are so weird that they have been stuck in her mind after all these years
-With that being said Kanbaru doesn't see her as a normal person
-It seems that her mother and father actually eloped because the Kanbaru family didn't agreed with their relationship
-On the first day of school Kanbaru wakes up with a cold sweat because she dreamt that her mother woke her up by saying something along the lines of, "Wakey wakey, my stupid daughter, today is the start of a new heartpounding school term."
-It seems that whenever she goes to sleep she would bind her devil's arm to a pillar so that she wouldn't start sleepwalking and committing crimes.
-She would also check the newspaper everyday so that she can make sure she didn't do anything
-While going to school Ougi the kouhai we were introduced to in Kabuki shows up
-HOWEVER, this time around Ougi is a boy rather than being a girl in Kabuki, I believe we have a gender-bender in our hands here
-After talking for a while Oogi tells her about the rumors of Àkuma-sama
-This Akuma-sama would solve all of your problems as long as you tell him about it
-Kanbaru fearing that she is actually Akuma-sama begins to search for him
-After Kanbaru reaches school and her new classroom (which is the same one Ararargi and others were in) we meet Higasa
-Higasa was the vice-captain during Kabaru`s second year and technically captain after she retires because of the devil
-After school Kanbaru phones Karen and asks her about any information around Akuma-sama
-Tsukihi is now the one doing all the work since Karen have gone into high school so their Fire Sister duo have broken up
-Also it seems that Araragi have gotten REALLY close to Karen ever since she became a high schooler
-Kanbaru fears that their relationship is heading towards a weird direction
-Kanbaru goes to meet Akuma-sama and the location happens to be the old cram school ruin
-She has been hiding a fact from Ararargi and others and that fact was that she actually attended this school before it went bankrupt
-She sees Akuma-sama and it turns out it was an old basketball rival of hers called, Numachi Rouka
-While Kanbura was a speedy offensive player Numachi was a slow defensive player
-When she sees her she notices that her left leg is in a cast
-She then remembers that three years ago during a match Numachi got into an accident during a match and broke her leg
-Kanbaru figures that if after all these years she still has a cast then that means the injury is forever
-Numachi tells her and what she does is collecting other people`s misfortunes
-Ever since breaking her leg she has been doing so to make herself feel better about her injury
-Kanbaru disagrees with her hobby and hits her
-In retaliation she grabs Kanbaru`s breast and squeezes hard
-After talking for a while Numachi leaves and says she`ll drop the Akuma-sama name
-The next day Kanbaru sees that her left arm have returned to normal
-After going to school she talks to Higasa about Numachi
-Kanbaru tries to find Numachi since she thinks her arm getting fixed is related to her
-Five days later she and Higasa goes to a University outside of town to see a student recruiting event
-Afterwards they both leave and Higasa goes home by herself
-As Kanbaru is going home she meets Kaiki
-Kanbaru tries to follow Araragi and Senjougahara`s advice and runs away but Kaiki was faster than her and stops her twice
-He takes her to a restaurant and treats her
-Kanbaru of course have her guard on
-Kaiki starts talking about how he knew her mother and that he promised to take care of Kanbaru if anything happened
-Turns out Kaiki was once in love with her mother
-It seems that Kanbaru is the only person Kaiki will ever treat in a good way
-Before Kaiki leaves she asks him how he knew she was gonna be outside of town and he tells her Numachi told him
-Kanbaru goes home and asks Karen to investigate Numachi
-The next day at school she sees Numachi in her classroom by herself
-It seems that Numachi have an ability to cause other people to not come into an area
-Numachi this time around have a cast on her left arm too
-Numachi came because she figures that Kanbaru wants to see her
-Before leaving she tells Kanbaru to see her at the gym after school
-She does and Numachi challenges her to a game of 1 on 1
-Afterwards she shows Kanbaru her left arm and feet and sees devil`s limbs
-It turns out that other than misfortune she is also collecting parts of the devil
-Numachi starts telling her story including what happened after her incident, how she met Kaiki and how she got her hands on her first devil`s part
-Numachi leaves and says it`s probably the last time they`ll ever see each other
-Kanbaru goes home and Karen phones her to tell her about what Tsuhiki found
-It turns out that Numachi died three years ago when she slit her waist after her incident
-She tries to phone Kaiki about this but she got no answer
-Kanbaru goes out and runs for ten hours
-She got so tired by the time the sun rose that she collapsed on the road
-A car almost ran her over and the driver came out to see if she was doing okay
-The driver was Araragi
-Kanbaru was really disappointed that Araragi was driving and a yellow Beetles at that too
-Araragi carries her on his car with both hands and she blushed
-When they got to her house it turns out that Kaiki sent her a package
-Inside was the devil`s head
-Using the head she lured Numachi to the gym again and they have another 1 on 1 for the rights to all the devil`s parts
-Kanbaru asks her if she have thought about going to the afterlife but the way Numachi answered showed that she doesn`t know she`s dead
-Kanbaru defeats her with a slam dunk and Numachi disappears leaving the parts on the ground
-The next day Araragi comes to help clean up her room and Kanbaru tells him about what happened during her ordeal
-She asks him to drive her to visit Numachi`s grave
-She also asks him to cut her hair
-It seems that Kanbaru is gonna start playing basketball again

-The book starts out with a profile of Nadeko like her height, weight and favourite things
-The actual story then begins with Nadeko under the floor board of the white snake shrine
-She starts talking to a snake that is coiled around her wrist like a bracelet
-She calls the snake Kuchinawa-san
-He tells her that everything that has happened up till now is her fault
-She then hears a set of footsteps
-The shrine above her suddenly gets destroyed and she sees that it’s raining
- Kuchinawa-san then reminds her that the whole reason she was under the floor board was because she was trying to get away from the rain
-The owner of the footsteps is now standing in front of her, it’s Araragi
-He says hi and tells her he is here to kill her
-Araragi has wounds all over him and is covered in blood
- Kuchinawa-san reminds her that she was the one who gave him those wounds
-The reason why Araragi isn’t healing is because poison effects vampires and it weakens them
-Nadeko stands up and prepares for battle
-In her right hand it’s Kuchinawa-san and in her left it’s a giant fang
-Her hair is also snakes and she is in control of all one hundred thousand of them
-Standing next to Araragi is Shinobu and she comments on how Nadeko has completely fallen into the ranks of Kaiis or rather risen since she has become a goddess
-She tells Araragi not to hesitate since Nadeko is no longer his little sister’s friend nor his cute kouhai but an evil, unsaveable Kaii
-Araragi says he understands and admits Nadako is his enemy and Shinobu’s meal, he tells her to eat Nadeko
-Nadeko says she hates Araragi and thrusts the fang straight into Araragi’s heart
-The snakes on her head cheers in victory and Nadeko starts laughing
-She questions how all this came to be
-We get a flashback to October 31 and Nadeko is walking to school
-She is depressed about having to go to school
-She then sees a bike that is about to crash into her but the rider suddenly puts a trick and the bike and the rider flies above Nadeko’s head
-The bike crashes land on another spot and Nadeko goes and see if everything is alright
-The rider turns out to be a girl
-The rider sits up and asks Nadeko if she was alright
-Nadeko is shocked that the girl knows her name
-The girl realized what she said and mentioned that she shouldn’t know Nadeko yet
-She says something about messing up the order and it’s because she couldn’t find Hachikuji
-She introduces herself as Oshino Ougi
-She says that she is Araragi and Kanbaru’s kouhai and that calms Nadeko down
-She gives Nadeko her hand and tells her she is Oshino’s niece
-She gives a speech about how victims can’t remain victims forever and that sometimes they are the perpetrators
-She gets on her bike and leaves
-Nadeko realizes that she completely ignored Ougi’s hand and she explains that she hates being touched and hates the feeling of having someone else’s body temperature mixing with her own
-She gets to school and tries to get her indoor shoes
-She thought she felt a snake in her shoebox but when she checked she doesn’t see anything
-She goes to her classroom and she sees the reason why she gets depressed when going to school
-It turns out that the whole class that she is in was greatly affected by the curse craze that happened in June caused by Kaiki
-Who like who, who hates who, everyone knows how the other people in class felt about them and everyone’s relationship with everyone else was in ruins
-Nadeko gets to her desk and she sees a snake within but it quickly disappears
-After school she phones Araragi and tells him everything
-He tells her to meet him at night because that’s when Shinobu is awake and they can ask her for help
-He says he could have asked Hanekawa too but she is away
-It turns out that the reason Nadeko ran away when she and Hanekawa first met was because she could feel the warmth of Hanekawa through the air and she couldn’t stand it
-It turns out she left for a month in order to travel the world and prepare for the real deal after she graduates
-She finishes talking with him and as she reaches for her phone card a snake appears on it
-She got surprised and she knocks over the phone
-A voice appears from it and countless snakes as well
-The snakes disappears and the voice tell her to come to the snake shrine
-She goes back home for a change of clothes and then heads for the shrine
-When she gets there she sees countless snakes chopped up and pinned to the trees and ground
-The voice then appears and tells her she was the one who did this
-She counters by saying she didn’t go this far
-A majority of the snakes then disappear only around 20 are left, she then covers her eyes with her hat
-The voice comments that they way Nadeko shifts down her eyesight and keeps silent allows her to remain as a victim
-The voice then gives her two choices, one is to go home and forget everything that she have seen and the second is look forward and atone for what she have done
-She pulls her hat up and looks forward and she sees a giant snake
-The snake then greets her and says they are now partners
-Nadeko admits that she is a mass murderer and a perpetrator
- Kuchinawa-san tells her he wants her to do something for him to atone for all the snakes that she killed and she accepts
-At night she phones Araragi again to tell him everything is alright and that it was just her imagination
- Kuchinawa-san shrunk himself and is now the size of a bracelet and is being worn on Nadeko’s hand
- Kuchinawa-san tells her that he is the god of the shrine but since no one goes there anymore it has lost its praise
-He tells her that what he wants her to do is find his remains
-The next day Nadeko goes to school again
- Kuchinawa-san keeps talking to her and she leaves her classroom in order to head for the highest floor of her school
-She tells him to shut up and that she is a shy quiet girl who will become a “pitiful child” if she starts talking to her wrist
- Kuchinawa-san says that since she doesn’t talk to anyone else anyways so it doesn’t matter what other people think of her
-She reminds him that their agreement was that during the day she’ll have her usual life and they go searching for his remains at night
-We flashback to last night
- Kuchinawa-san explains that the shrine basically was dead but when Shinobu came she brought along of “junk” with her and it revived him
-However he can’t stay forever and he has been using the “junk” in the shrine as energy
-However all of the energy was suddenly used up for a pointless matter
-The person who used it all up was Shinobu
-The remains will act as another energy source
- Kuchinawa-san currently is bonded with Nadeko and is using her as an energy source, this however can’t last forever
- Kuchinawa-san tells her that the only reason why he chose her is because he had no choice and that she was the only person with enough “fate” with him
-She asks him if he has any leads and he says he has no idea where or what it looks like
-We go back to when Nadeko just left her classroom and is on the top floor of her school
- Kuchinawa-san promise that he’ll shut up when people are around
-Her homeroom teacher appears and asks her what she is doing up there
-She says it’s nothing and then kept silent
-He lets her go and tells her to get back to class
-He then asks her about the favour he asked from her
-She doesn’t really say anything and he tells her he’s counting on her
-He reveals that Nadeko is the class-rep of her class
-Once he leaves Kuchinawa-san starts talking again and comments on how she’s the class-rep
-The position was pretty much push onto her
-The favour the teacher asked from her was to fix the atmosphere of the class
- Kuchinawa-san worries that her jobs at school will affect the favour he is asking from her
-She tells him it’s no problem since whether it’s the teacher’s favour or the jobs at comes with being a class-rep, she hasn’t done any of it
-That night she sneaks out in order to find Kuchinawa-san’s remains
-He tells her that she just needs to walk around and he’ll detect his remains
-He suddenly starts vibrating and tells her to head towards a certain direction
-They get to a park and Nadeko starts digging in the sandbox
-However even when they reached the bottom they couldn’t find anything
-Looks like it was a false alarm
-She starts filling up the holes and when she was done started playing with the sand
-Araragi then suddenly appeared in front of her
-He takes her to his room and gives her a stern talking to
-Turns out her parents found out she was gone and phoned Tsukihi, she lied and said Nadeko is staying with her for the night
-Araragi overheard and went out to look for her
-He questions her if she is actually hiding something from him
-She lies to him again and he believes her
-He tells her it’s getting late and that she should rest
-He left for a bit and comes back with a yukata

-With Tsuhiki being a giant brocon pissing her off means making an enemy with every middle schooler in the area
-Nadeko thanks her for what she did last night
-Nadeko has her head down and Tsukihi tells her since she’s so cute she shouldn’t hide it
-Tsukihi says although she is second only to her
-She tells Nadeko that when they were in second grade the first time she saw her she knew she had to be friends with her since she was so cute
-Nadeko blurs out the question of if she wasn’t cute then would Tsukihi still have been friends with her

-Tsukihi gives a whole speech and calls Nadeko an idiot and there is nothing wrong with Nadeko being only cute
-They get to the topic of who Nadeko likes and she admits it’s Araragi
-She confirms that she likes him from an opponent sex point of view and Tsukihi says that he has a girlfriend
-Turns out Nadeko knew about it a long time ago
-She’s seem him with multiple girls but there was one who stood out
-Araragi has also been seen carrying Karen on his shoulder multiple times
-Tsuhiki then questions her about how she can still love him despite him having a girlfriend
-For Nadeko loving someone is a way for her to feel better
-Tsukihi tells her that the reason why she is with her boyfriend is because he told her that calling someone “oniichan” despite having feelings for him makes it meaningless
-Tsukihi feels that Nadeko doesn’t have enough reason to like Araragi
-She also questions her on why she refer to herself in first-person
-Nadeko starts talking about how she doesn’t want to make trouble for Araragi and Tsuhiki goes and grabs a certain stationary
-Tsukihi tells her she’s grown tired of Nadeko’s love and she cuts off Nadeko’s bangs
-Nadeko screams
-An hour has passed and Nadeko is shown walking wobbly towards school
-She searches her memory bank about what just happened
-After hearing Nadeko scream Araragi comes rushing in and sends Tsukihi flying
-He tries to calm her down and calls for Karen to take her somewhere safe
-He wants to have some alone time with Tsukihi and he says what he’s going to do with Tsukihi’s body is not going to be children friendly
-Karen comes and tries her best to fix Nadeko’s hair
- Kuchinawa-san starts talking to her again and she asks him why he didn’t safe her and he says it wasn’t a place where he could do anything
- Kuchinawa-san tells her that if she really does care about her bangs so much then he could maybe do something about it
-Since he is a god his job is to grant wishes so if she is able to find his remains he could give her bangs back
-He also tells her he knows where his remains are but he’ll leave it until tonight
-When she got to school her teacher approached her and asks if she has done anything about his favour
-She does her usual technique of looking down but this time her teacher isn’t letting her go
-She realizes that with her bangs cut people can see her face and her expressions
-Nadeko snaps and tells him to shut up
-She goes and tells him it isn’t a job that should be given to a middle-schooler and it should be solved by a teacher like him instead
-She goes to her classroom and when asked what she’s doing she says she doing the favour he asked her to do
-She kicks the door in and starts lecturing her class
-She tells them that no matter what they think the time they spent in this classroom will be remembered forever and they should fix it
-She leaves school early
-She tell Kuchinawa-san that there is no point in waiting for night anymore so he should just tell her where his remains are now
-He says it in Araragi’s house
-She gets there and sees that the doors are locked
- Kuchinawa-san opens the lock and says he has the ability to break barriers
-She goes up to Araragi’s room and starts searching
-While she is doing that she starts to think about what Tsukihi said and she begin to think that she started liking Araragi in order to be closer to Tsukihi
-She opens Araragi’s bottom desk draw and finds porn mags
-She starts reading them and every page too
-While she’s reading Kuchinawa-san asks her why she refers to herself in first person and she tells him to think for himself
-He says that it because she has no sense of self
-She gets to the third mag and a bookmark falls out
- Kuchinawa-san tells her to pick up the bookmark
-The thing has a drawing of a snake biting its tail
-She concludes that it’s an ofuda and not a bookmark
- Kuchinawa-san says they’ve found it and all she needs to do is eat it
-In order to show his gratitude he’ll grant her more things including the hair
-She says she wants to be together with Araragi and just when she finished, Araragi appears behind her and tells her that’s going to be hard
-Araragi keeps telling her to drop the ofuda and that it’s a really dangerous object
-Shinobu however is less calm and starts to insult her and tells Araragi to just steal it back
-The ofuda seems to be from Gaen Izuko
-After that Nadeko then sees that the thing on her hand is just a band, a band used to tie up hair
-She puts the ofuda in her mouth and she eats it
-Araragi tells her she can still turn back but Shinobu says it’s too late and she rushes in to eat her
-Nadeko’s hair turns into snakes and pins Shinobu down and starts biting her
-Araragi comes in and pulls Shinobu out
-Nadeko pulls out one of her hair and the snake turns into a giant fang and she stabs Araragi with it
-The story goes back to present time where Nadeko is at the shrine
-Both Araragi and Shinobu have been defeated and both of their skin is black from the poison
-She says that it would have been good if they didn’t chase her when she ran away and that they are too weak
-She asks Kuchinawa-san how this came to be and he says it’s all her fault
- Kuchinawa-san is a Kaii that was revived a couple hours ago when Nadeko ate that ofuda
-It seems that Kuchinawa-san started out as nothing more than her delusions
-All of the things she saw were just there to give her delusions some story
-The reason why Kuchinawa-san knew so much about Kaiis when Nadeko didn’t was because back In June when she was researching on how to get rid of her curse she read up on a lot of stuff and even though she doesn’t know it she subconsciously retained the information
-Because of the delusions Nadeko’s memories have holes in them
-Her delusions started in September when she found out Araragi had a girlfriend and she started going crazy
-She wanted to get rid of that girl so she started praying
-She went to the snake shrine whenever she had time
-However since that shrine already lost everything praying there was useless
-It was then revealed that Ougi was the one who told Nadeko everything
-She told her that the shrine had no god but if it came back then it’ll be different
-She tells her the object is with Araragi, it’s a piece of paper and all she needs to do is a catch a snake and feed the object to it
-After that Nadeko would be able to have her wish granted
-Even the band on her wrist was a gift from Ougi to represent their relationship
-The way she opened the door to Araragi’s house was using the actual keys
-She deliberately let her parents catch her sneaking out and wanted them to phone Tsuhiki
-She got into their house that night and she was able to get herself the key in which she could use the next day during the day when everyone was away
-She could have searched of the ofuda that night too but she worried if Tsukihi might come in suddenly in which she actually did
-Shinobu starts talking again and Nadeko strikes her until she got quiet again
-She goes towards Araragi and decides to kill him
-Just when she is about to deal the final blow she hears vibrating sound
-It the phone coming from Araragi and she picks up
-It’s Senjougahara
-She asks if her man is alive and Nadeko says currently still is
-She says she save it and Nadeko responds by saying unless she can get here within one second she didn’t save anything
-She says that had Nadeko killed Araragi then Senjougahara would have had to become a murderer and what she saved was her future
-She wants to trade her life for Araragi and Shinobu’s
-Technically she doesn’t care for Shinobu but since she is Araragi’s treasure if she is gone there is no point in Araragi living
-Nadeko says its impossible since she plans on killing all of them
-She then tells Nadeko if that is the case then the order is important since if Araragi dies first then Shinobu will get her powers back and a small character such as Nadeko would get swallowed in an instant
-More importantly she needs to kill Senjougahara first since if she don’t then she’ll kill everyone
-When asked what she meant by everyone she says she meant everyone
-She then asks for a favour and since Nadeko is now the owner of the shrine and a goddess she should listen to the wishes of a civilian like Senjougahara
-Nadeko tells her she’ll listen and Senjougahara says she wants to postpone their deaths until graduation since she doesn’t want all her effort to go to waste
-Nadeko agrees and tells her that right after the ceremony they need to come straight to the shrine
-Nadeko then tells her that had they met under different circumstances maybe they could have been friends and Senjougahara disagrees saying she hates cute brats like her
-Senjougahara then hangs up and Nadeko does so as well thinking the same thing
-A while after this all happens Nadeko starts thinking about what happened afterwards with her class, such as if they finally turned back to what they were in the beginning
-She also starts thinking about her parents
-We then jump to March on the day of Araragi’s graduation
-She is sitting on the shrine’s coin collection box and the band that used to be on her hand is now used to make a ponytail with her snake hair
-The shrine is also going to be rebuilt
-When it was a mess no one gave it any attention but when it was completely destroyed people started paying attention
-Three people, Senjougahara, Araragi and Shinobu is now approaching the shrine
-Shinobu is at an age where she’s near Araragi’s
-She wished that Hanekawa and Kanbaru would have appeared too so it would have seem like all characters have gathered in order to fight the last boss
-She stands up and welcomes them

I skimmed through that chapter, but I didn't find these specific words. Araragi says he prayed so that the day Senjougahara would be rehabilated come. Can't have his life in danger at every moment. He is also very happy for her as a person, obviously.

That was an author self-insert. It seems that even in Japan there are Senjougahara monomaniac fans. Nisio is telling them that he is not going back in his plan of turning a (so-called) tsundere into a deredere.

To him, she hasn't really changed so much as she is just growing.

She hasn't really changed, rehabilitated, gone back as before, recovered, got dere'd or doro'd; she conquered a complex, so the correct words to use would be that she grew.

I love the old Senjougahara who is clever, cool, cold, sarcastic and badmouth. I only read spoiler so I'm not sure if I can interpret it correctly. I used to feel worry when I read that she is changing and has more deredere side. But when I think about it, I'd say that it's actually the most appropriate. I suppose that everyone who love/like her should also perceive that she does have a problem in her personality. It may be correct to say that she is a bit whack in the head. Threatening to hurt or kill her own boyfriend shouldn't feel right, right? Yeah, even if that part of her is awesome. The fact that she know by herself that she has a problem and want to change it is very plausible. It just shows how devote she is for her love and also proves that her love is genuine. This makes her character even more awesome and makes me love her even more too.

Seen in Hanamonogatari (Telling Araragi about his driving) and Otorimonogatari (phone call with Nadeko). In Nekomonogatari White, while calling Araragi Nicknames and all, she still throws in some jokes about him.
