I think Shiomi gave them a timelimit - shape up within 7 years or he'll nuke the earth.
And as for Myuu...I believe that because she had an aura, that she'll be able to 're-materlize' herself when the Aura Dream comes around again. Mostly everyone's alone except for Myuu and Shiomi - they're together in their aura dream. One could easily put Shiomi, Myuu, and Orina into the Evangelion story. Wouldn't that be something.
