Plot Summary:

Riku Barusak is a hard-working child that despite her innate superior physical strength and hard training fails to unlock her talent as a spiritualist. The failure results in her being thrown away by her family.

Abandoned, the only ones that extended a hand to her were the demons, the greatest enemies of the human race. Serving under them as a soldier she becomes a weapon of human slaughter, a fiend that should never have existed.

A dark story but with good characterization. It has 90+ chapters and ongoing so far with decent pacing.

Yeah, this is dark though not "grimdark". Kinda similar in some ways of "The Girl Who Ate a Death God", except the MC here is much more keen on "revenge", not so much on food. Chops up people just the same though (with a halberd rather than a scythe)

It's kinda an anti-harem story:

there's actually two reincarnators in this story - the MC has to trade her previous life's soul/memories to survive, so from her POV it's the only world she knows after the intro. Then there's the "shadow MC" as it were, who treats it as a harem-building gal game... except butterfly effect kicks in and harem gets chopped down...

I'd say "no". The concept isn't completely absent but it's more about revenge, finding your place in the world and armies of demons vs armies of humans.

romance? yes, there is romance . . . two types . . .

Type 1 - one-sided romance . . . this one belongs to Riku towards her direct superior...who saved her

Type 2 - for the 'shadow MC' Rook . . . he came from our world to live out the life of the MC from this 'game' thus there's a harem for him . . . but . . . .

This is pretty much covered in the setup so isn't really a spoiler per say...

In this world a lot of humans have a special power that makes it easy to defeat demons and the MC is from a renowned family, but can't use that special power at all. She is unnaturally strong (similar to a demon) but that's all. Because she doesn't have that special power everyone treats her badly and her father throws her away when she was a child (literally off a cliff). When she's about to die in a back alley she gets saved by a demon who decides she might be useful. So she fights to establish a place for herself amongst the demons, who generally aren't too trusting of a human. The humans are used to using their special anti-demon powers to win easily, so she has an advantage over the demons in that regard when fighting humans.

She's "quite annoyed" at being thrown away (and suffering much abuse before that).

In the translated chapters, nobody amongst the humans has found out who she is and survived... but early one there is a "flash forward" with a note from her father expressing regret... that he never made sure she was dead.

1. having red hair is a bad omen for the humans
2. thrown off the cliff . . her father was "somewhat" hoping for an awakening in Riku but since none happened, father just shrugged off her death . . . in doing so he had erased a stain of their family
3. of course Riku lived and was washed ashore when a certain someone offered her a deal in exchange for a certain something only she possessed

The guy killed his own wife merely for giving birth to Riku and almost killed his son for being a stain of the family's honour. He might kill more of his own family than Riku at this rate...

I'm not sure how much I'd trust any particular point of view but it's pretty medieval out there. The demons have been relatively honourable though, more so than the humans from what we've seen.
