Ok what is about the picture with Ariella? Is that Yuu with her in the picture? I'm really wondering about that one now, also I hope that the other illustrations will be added as soon as possible after the volume has been released

There are plenty of revelations to discuss and speculate.
e.g. What does it mean to be turned into the same kind of dragon as Yuu?
We find out that Iris has lost the ability to use Catastrophe directly but can still replicate its effects through dark matter conversion. Presumably, this means that Mitsuki will still be able to use antimatter as before.

However, out of the entire harem, Mitsuki is the only one to show an unusual response to being turned into the same type of dragon. Could it be that she has gotten pregnant in the same way as Miyako in the past?

There's also the explicit reveal in Brynhildr Valkyries that Loki is Leonardo Blood Lord's son. Perhaps the authority of the 8th Counterdragon includes human extermination in addition to dominance abilities, which were then inherited separately by Loki and Charlotte. Then somehow, Loki is able to implant his "scrapped authority" into others to create the Hreidmar and Fafnir candidates.

Harem-wise, I suppose the color illustration already spoils the end result that Yuu will somehow win over Ariella. It also means that the author successfully inserted a bath scene despite his worries in last volume's afterword.

I was thinking that Mitsuki may be another half of Neun along with Yuu. Both of them were in that accident after all. Explains that unusual response when Yuu kissed her to turn into a dragon and not getting Kraken's authority fully according to Vritra. Amongst the 3 persons to inherit a dragon's power in Brynhildr class, only Iris almost turned into one. The siblings are definitely special and the only reason I can think of is that.

As for the 8th authority, I was thinking that two powers emerged to counteract the 8th Calamity. The power of killing humans and the power of dominating humans. Charl's father decided that dominating would be the better one so the human killing power, aka Fafnir, was scrapped. Loki probably got it but couldn't use it properly so he did the Fafnir project with the Hreidmar being the failed ones.

The Fafnir project probably was an attempt to use the 8th authority by Loki with Yuu being the only success. Hreidmar are just failed experiments. I'm also guessing part of the reason for the attack is that Loki wishes to take Charl's authority for himself to perfect the Fafnir project.

In other words it's can twist human's destiny and force them to face a death.
At the almost complete state, the owner of this authority can kill others just by imagine.

I agree that that is one heck of a power, but so who is the true dragon of Loki and Char? After all the fact that the person next to Char in that picture looked like Loki is most likely not a coincident, I guess he is the true dragon that causes destruction (I remember correct right or was it reversed?) and Char is the counter dragon that was born to stop him right?

Even so I wonder what power Yuu possesses as the 9th dragon since he's most likely that.

Also since some seems to already have gotten the volume, could anyone post the black and white illustrations? Don't care about the quality as long as you can at least see what they look like.
