I doubt very many Japanese-made games reference western companies/franchises that often anyway, so I'm not really surprised about that. I think the closest thing we have to a western representative is Vert considering the 360 was made by Microsoft which is a American based company.

Most of the western references this series has is most likely added through localization, and frankly I appreciate that, since I'm not Japanese and have a limited knowledge of Japanese pop culture. Most references towards that would probably go right over my head.

Nepgear's so much cuter than Neptune, but Neptune's Purple Heart totally beats Nepgear's in term of hotness.

This is a late reply, but I couldn't stop laughing when reading Chapter 9 at the fact that Noire can't float, other than her twintails. Everything seems to centre on Noire fanservice.

Anywho, battle system looks a lot better from the previous game. Cutscenes are also done with in-game models too eh?

There must've been quite the significant budget increase for this sequel that's for sure.

Lol @ Uni's cannon. It clearly has PSP logo on it

Still, I like how specialized they are. Nepgear is Melee attacker, Uni is a long range specialist, Rom is the healer, and Ram is the wizard.

Oh, and you guys maybe already knew this, but if you look at the official site and here, apparently, we can design our own costumes for them

we just need to put a jpg or png template to the PS3 photo album, it seems
