There's a reason people still use Kogetsu, and people with Scorpion have short blades. The Scorpion blade is weak to start with, and the longer the weaker.
At that range, he shouldn't have been able to decapitate two trion bodies - which is why Yuma, even though he knows what Kage used, doesn't know how. On another note, I wonder what kind of teacher Toma is. He's apparently already been able to improve Izuho (though we'll have to see if it lasts). I find it a bit surprising, because he looks like the genius type who does everything on instinct but can't explain how. Last edited by Anh_Minh; 2016-02-15 at 15:52. |

Haven't watched in a while .. Last I heard the season airing right now is anime original? But the quote above says the anime is going thru manga content .. What's up with that? I watched some of the early episodes of this season and it was pretty bad so I quit .. Dunno if it was manga content or not, but boring nevertheless. (With what the girl/boy from another world holding Chika '' hostage '' etc.)

I think he makes a very thing yet sharp scorpion thread kinda like how Kitora could make a leg with it. Or how Ashihara said in one of his Q&A's how Chika would be able to create a thick scorpion armor around her whole body if she had scorpion as a trigger. I think though that doing so costs quite a lot of trion as in calling forth a whole scorpion blade for a split second and it immediately dissolving as it cannot hold that form for too long. It is quite useful though given how Kogetsu, the hard blade triggers, need an extra optional trigger to attack at long range and he can do his main trigger leaving him open with an extra free trigger slot.

More buildup this week...
I hope they spend a decent amount of time on the actual battles for the ranked wars soon. Although comedy wise, I thought it was somewhat funny and they picked some nice commentators.

Nice teaching there, Izumi! Having Osamu fight several fights against the weakest A ranker to make himself realize that he is rushing it too much. He needs more experience before learning and being able to handle all those new shooter moves. Osamu is trying to get the horse before the cart when the cart doesn't even have all wheels yet.
Yuiga brought his way up but hell, he does have skill. In 200 matches against Osamu he won 75% of them. He's not a bad fight. Got a bad personality though. Still a good comedy relief due nobody taking him seriously or giving him much respect. xD I can see lots of watchers being like "oh no, even more named characters! We're over 100 now! Stop this madness! D:". Then again I like that WT has so many characters and that they are no "no-names" as in "don't matter at all/easily beaten by MC&friends to look good". They are all a challenge and without Yuuma Tamakoma 2 would have never reached 6th rank. And if Tamakoma 2 fails to get to A rank this time they'll have to wait for the next Season to fight their way up and then those teams which they have beaten the first time around will be much more careful around them. Hope next week the actions scenes gonna keep staying good like most fights have been handled so far in this series. The snowy city landscape looks great already.^^

Yuiga reminds me so much of Rudy, thanks to the same VA. While the voice is different from my headcannon, the VA is doing a good job of making him moe and at the same time making you want to smack him.
That filler with Yuiga wanting to join Kako's team and Arashiyama's team is funny. Also, dat dropkick. Zoe's voice is just the way I imagine it to be. Now, the wait starts for the rest of the VAs. Also, its funny that is Ninomiya's team mugshot at the end is bishie-fied so much that they look like characters from a different anime. |

75% win rate is around Yuuma's win rate against Midorikawa (70%). Assuming Yuuma's skill level is lower but close to Murakami's 12,000+, say high 11,000+, and since we know that Midorikawa is low 9000+, then 70% win rate is kinda expected from 2000-2500 difference in weapon mastery points. Since Osamu is 4000+ so Yuiga is around 6500+ or solid mid-B ranker in actual skill. This means that his skill is only a bit lower than the likes of Okudera, Koarai, and Kuruma. Kumagai doesn't count since her bio states that her points underestimate her actual skill because her team tends to give kills to Nasu. |
