Well first off, that scan is from a doujinshi, so that should point you in the general direction of where this is going.

Hayate confronts Verossa Acous (the scene the scan is from) about him hitting on other girls (read: Caro, Teana, Ginga), and is rather....upset that he's not sticking with her.
