Cut to Rudolph. He seems to be standing on a rooftop, and is discussing Krauss success/failure in business exceeding their expectations? Kyrie says something about it being difficult to borrow money from him?Maybe for him to borrow money. They talk about investors and truth and risk taking. Kyrie says something about Krauss future efforts being unnecessary? The evilish plot music plays. Rudolph is surprised. Kyrie apologizes for badtalking his relative, but laughs with a cold expression. She can be ruthless and cruel. Rudolph definitely doesn't want her to ever become his enemy.

She says something about blackmail-perhaps if Rudolph doesn't want to do it, maybe they should...something? Rudolph is silent, and looks nervous. He still carries a fear of Klauss from childhood. So Kyrie ruthlessly pushes Rudolph into a fight with Klauss. Rudolph seems worried Klauss has lost so much he couldn't help them with their money problems anyways. Kyrie says he probably still has enough.

Rudolph continues to be hesitant, and Kyrie says that failure isn't an option for them. Apparently they have investor issues of their own?

Someone answers a phone. "Maria( is energetic?). That's a big help. Thanks. What? I don't know the schedule.

Rose is talking on the phone, to Rudolph. She's tense from talking to her elder brother. Rudolph says that to tell the truth, what he wants is to iron out the younger siblings differences by calling Klauss out at the council. Rosa asks what the goal is, and says its giving her a headache. Rudolph says he can't speak in detail over the phone, but that she'll want to hear it.

He says they should stand united. Rosa sighs, suspicious of what will happen if she works with her older siblings against Klauss, I think? Rudolph says the three of them will get 200 million, maybe more if things go well. He suggests this may clear her debt. She is silent a moment, and asks when they'll get the money. Rudolph says in the fiscal year, saying it would save him too, and Eva, in addition to Rosa herself.

Rudolph says to meet him at a coffee shop in Ginza to hear the story behind things. Their plan is suitable only there? Rosa is forced to agree, needing the money. Rudolph says something about Maria and the money, triggering an outburst from Rosa, and her hanging up.

She figures she already knows the plan; they'll threaten Klauss at the family council and take advantage of his current weakness. But its a good chance to repay her debt. She takes out a notebook and goes to write down the day of the meeting. She frowns, noting "It is because the plans of "True [ri**] and DZL" and �c�c daughters is written there. "

Maria is playing in her room with Sakutarou and company. Apparently they were going to go to an amusement park, and that was the only day they could go? It's after nine, breaking some rule? Rosa stomps off to Maria's room. She has a pained expression for a moment. knowing she is about to do something bad, but forces a angry, indignant expression onto her face. (She knows the room is a wreck, and is going to use it as an excuse to punish Maria and take away the amusement park visit)

Yay, Sakutaro cameo!

It's nice to see what the family was doing before the game began.

There isn't any "real" cameo for Sakutaro, not in this scene to say the least (guess I should read again afterwards, because should he appear, it is extremely short. I'm pretty sure I didn't see his tati e).

Scene opens on the manor. The weather is bad. Natsuhi imagines it will be it's worst at the family council. She entertains the idea of typhoons sealing the island forever, allowing Kinzo's death to be hidden forever as well. She sighs, her headaches are getting worse as the council approaches. The phone rings. It's Genji apologizing for disturbing her but saying she has an external call coming in. Natsuhi seems confused. The call is weird. The speaker apparently will not introduce themself, and says Natsuhi will understand if they speak. Something about a partner? "Perhaps, isn't it a young man? Perhaps you know something about it?"

Natsuhi is confused. She can't believe someone is so rude as to not introduce themself, and she has no clue WTF Genji is talking about. She feels apprehensive about the call, and suspicious, and wants to hang up. But she considers that it might be a business call for Klauss of some sort, that for some reason needs to be told to her? Then she thinks somethign about blackmail, and eventually puts the receiver down so she can recieve the call. The phone rings again.

The speaker says nothing, so Natsuhi says hello, and asks who it is, and demands a name. They don't say anything, they just sigh. They finally say, "It's been a long time. I wonder how many years...?"

Natsuhi is confused.She asks who they are again. It's hard to tell by the voice details about the person, but it sounds like a young man's voice, someone not in the prime of life yet. What she does know is, the over-familiar tone is not one she recognizes.

The voice says he can introduce himself, but he is sad to have to do so? Natsuhi is puzzled, and wants him to cut the crap, asking who he is again, and what he wants with her. If he can't say, she doesn't want to listen to him. He responds that he is just hoping she will recall on her own. She says she has no idea who he is. Then...OH SHI-

"I might be your child".

Natsuhi is like WTF?! What did you say?! The voice tells her not to say such a sad thing...mother. The word makes a chill run through Natsuhi, piercing her heart. She feels like her heart is going to explode.She yells that she doesn't recall being called his mother. He responds that he came back for revenge, for the crime she commited 19 years ago. Her head fills with a flash.

The sound of the sea that day, and the wind groaning, outside of the window. He asks if she has already remembered. Natsuhi denies it, stuttering. She says something about possessions? The voice says he did not forget what she did 19 years ago. So he curses her and calls her mother. He suggests he might show at the family council?, since he is the son of Natsuhi. Time split on the day of the council at an interval of 19 years???? He will take revenge on her.

Natsuhi slams the phone down, breathing heavy, and breaks the phone. She hears the sea...even if she blocks her ears, and her headache worsens. She trembles in shock.

Bern appears with the meta-frame. She asks if LD is around. LD appears with her Bernrape face, saying that if Bern wants her anywhere, she is there. Bern comments that it is nice beneath the floor of the kitchen, or in the jar of rice-bran for pickling. LD asks if she will bite her if she soaks in Miso. But, she'd rather soak Bern in honey, herself, cooking her in sugar-water as her revenge. A bit more banter, then serious.

Bern asks if the phone call was true, triggering a laugh from LD. She wants to irritate Bern and make her ask again. Bern is just serious, and asks if she then refuses to repeat is (I guess in red). LD says it is up to her as game master to decide whether to respond or not. Bern agrees she doesn't have to without the blue text. LD laughs and taunts her about the truth of 19 years past. And I think says she can't be pressured on it, since the call and events of 19 years ago were before the game.

Bern is slightly put out, and suggests she is using low-level cheats. LD just laughs, then...gets mad? Wait, I think Bern hit her on her head. She laughs again.

Bern says this is enough preparation for the game board by LD. LD smiles, saying they are getting along, and wonders how many games on October 4th, 1986 they will play, and asks if Beatrice is an infinite witch.

She says she is a frightening child, then asks if Bern's side wants to take any actions. Bern says that if LD won't confirm the phone call, then she is done too. LD says the turn is over, then says some weird stuff and ends with "Draw". Card game stuff? Now, for October 4.

The scene opens on the first day of the game. Battler is complementing the masterpiece that is the rose garden, saying it is much better than it was six years ago. Jessica says a bunch of stuff, can't make it out. Talking about flowers, maybe?

George says it is a luxury to worry, and Maria says going to school and being able to greet the rose every morning is fantastic. Jessica mentions being disappointed about Ange not being there because of her stomach sickness. Battler says she has a weak stomach by nature, and that she gets diarrhea very often -_-;.

Maria isn't amused by this information, and says Battler is rude to say that kind of thing. Battler ihihihis. Then sing-songs about...marshmellows coming from girl's asses. And when they're sick, it's...millet jelly? George and Jessica tell him to shut up and simultaneously knock him flat.

There is mention that Battler has lost his normal discretion, as he is acting mentally the same as he did six years ago, the last time he met them. The same for George and Jessica.

Scene change.

I doubt you can choose anything aside of Dlanor or Dranol, considering it is an anagram (there has to be a L). I guess we will ask BT/Ryukishi about some spelling once we are done with this.

Current status: I'm something around chap 11 or 12. And honestly, I dunno how to consider this mess especially with Battler's ambiguous stance and the nearly-close merge of both meta and real world. No wonder why they say the game is the "same" content wise, but Lambda's version is drastically different and Bern makes it even more chaotic with Erika.
