The charmer-in-chief: Obama gets flirty as he schmoozes with Thai prime minister on first stop of historic Asia visit

Check it out for the pictures. They absolutely worth some giggles.

Oh, by the way, I think Yingluck forgot to remove the napkin after the banquet. But she is gorgeous anyway.

So, is president Obama going to sleep on the sofa when he is back to the US?

Lawsuits flying on both sides over Trump Tower in Toronto

Quote:
Developers of Toronto’s Trump International Hotel & Tower have launched lawsuits against seven investors in an effort to force them to close on deals for condo-hotel suites some claim haven’t turned out to be the Hollywood gold buyers were expecting.
Quote:
Emergency doctor Ganesh Ram alleges in his lawsuit that his costs jumped 40 per cent, with property taxes alone (the hotel-condos are considered commercial rather than residential units) now at $30,000 a year. While revenues from the hotel were meant to more than offset those kind of costs, buyers say they’ve been told hotel occupancy is running anywhere from 10 to 50 per cent and room rates are averaging about $300 per night instead of the $600 and up Talon had originally touted.

Based on the startling new numbers, buyers have alerted Talon they plan to rescind their deals, citing the fee hikes as a “material change” under the Condominium Act.

I doubt it. Michelle is no stranger to the charms of strange men, and for that matter, neither is Obama himself.

Well, if a material change can void the contract, then they have every right to void it. That is beyond a material change, and is more of a going concern at this point.

Yingluck has had that award all to herself ever since Yulia Tymoshenko lost the 2010 Ukrainian election was later imprisoned. Though I will say I was never a fan of Tymoshenko's hair braid:

I've wondered why Yingluck hasn't made the pages of The Legend of Koizumi like Yulia did.

Probably the same reason why we haven't seen Barack Obama yet, the artist likes to feature "Right-Wing" politicians, and Yingluck doesn't really fit that distinction.

Tymoshenko was portrayed as a progressive, democratically-oriented politician in the little coverage she got here in America as I recall. Most Western nations saw her imprisonment as political repression by reactionary forces in Ukraine.

From what I understand of Thai politics Shinawatra was considered a stalking-horse for her brother, though as the years have gone by I've heard that less and less. But, yes, the Shinawatra family certainly leans leftward.

Given the manga artist's portrayals of George W. Bush and Dick Cheney (I think that's him in the video), I'm not sure exactly what the artist's ideology may be. If the absurdly strong Koizumi portrayed in the anime is his ideal political leader, I can understand why Bush did not get an especially positive depiction. I love the scene in the anime where he is sleeping with the shoe next to his head, as if he brought it home from Iraq as a memento.

I think that was suppose to be George H. W. Bush (rather than Cheney) and George W. Bush.

Mount Doom is erupting in New Zealand! Did some dumbass reforge the One Ring and have to drop it in again?

And to think I was in NZ almost exactly a year ago now. That would've made my travel plans interesting...
