Guys, listen to someone with experience in being dissapointed by PVs. This means nothing. This could easily end in the Nine Schools arc. Just ask anyone who watched Index II after reading the novels (as I did).

Altough, it could be like Lucarion says, and the series starts with Tatsuya using Material Burst for the first time in a really short flashback of sorts. It would certainly make for quite the first impression.

Damn, I actually teared up a bit after watching Miyuki's PV. I've only just realised how sad their personal stories are. Was it the music?

Erica losing her mother and being ignored by her father.
Leo wondering if he'll go mad and die someday.
Mizuki able to stare into the abyss of the unknown.
Honoka and her bad relationship with her family.
and then there's Tatsuya.
On top of this, being seen as monsters and used as tools by the majority of the non-magical society.

......But then again the characters are pretty OP, so it may be all for the better.

...well, guess I have to eat my words now. There IS a chance we'll be getting to Vol. 8 if the PVs are anything to go by.

Also, DAMN, that fourth PV. Tatsuya looks smooth as hell when calming Miyuki down. Unfortunately, I can already guarantee a lot of people will be sick of Miyuki's attitude from day one.

And beautiful song from Elisa. Like, seriously gorgeous. As expected from the one who made a song about another god. I really hope it gets used as an IN at some point.

Is it just me or the anime illustrator is making the first mb look silly?
Didn't tatsuya use third eye prototype in there? And the gesture of activating mb is uncleching his hand right?

@Requiem: the anime itself may not reach all the way to vol 8, vol 7 should be a nice ending. For vol 8, they can make a whole movie (about 90 mins or so). If this is indeed the case, then Madhouse has earned my upmost respect for eternity
