Since I was bored, might as well toss in a conceptual IS unit

Basically a very heavily modified and personalized Revive IS unit, the “Metatron Revive” as it is known, was once an attempt by the Dunois Group to create a Third Generation IS based on pre-existing frames- namely the highly successful Second Generation Rafale Revive-Class General Use IS. But as luck and bureaucracy had it, the team that was developing it, along with the unit, were scrapped due to the unyielding pressure that was placed on them- just as they were about to hit on a breakthrough that would pave a new path for the “Third Generation Concept”.

“Proteus” as this multi-national team was called, decided that they had enough of the “Tradtional French Style” of corporate pressuring and meddling and decided to provide their expertise to anyone who can afford them at ‘reasonable’ prices- under the name “ProtoTech LLC”. And so they began their “world tour of sorts”, providing their knowledge to whoever can pay them- including the Dunois’ own rivals in France and some of the Germans who Developed Laura’s IS unit. Eventually, after sometime, they had acquired enough funds to continue their postponed development and settled into an undisclosed Asian Country- one that had low material and labor costs, but as close to Japan as possible but not in Red countries like China and North Korea. Rumor has it that they settled in the Vietnam-Thailand Area, as sightings would have it.

And so they began to complete the concept that they had thought of since the beginning of the “Proteus” project, the “Strategic Combat Reconfiguration System”. This system was inspired by previous and current systems that used multiple (sets of) equalizers to tailor to whatever situation presents. Basically, instead of using “another frame” to allow modules and equalizers to be used, it instead expanded on the Revive’s modularity and took it to the next logical step. Instead of just being able to fit whatever on the basic (even the Custom II- Charlotte’s unit) Revive’s limited number of bus slots (though the Custom II had an impressive bus layout for a modified Common Use IS), the concept it built around the core pilot and frame, and a series of “Subsystems”, basically “expansion” parts of the Frame that each give it specific properties and capabilities, as well as bus slots to fit modules and equalizers on. While its Bus Layout mirrors that of the Philippine Adarna IS, it does not have any of the 3 “Rig” Bus Slots, as the 5 “Subsystem” Slots already do the role of the Rig Slots and the modules that are equipped on them.

The Subsystems that go into these Subsystem Slots are defined into the following areas:

Integrity: Systems that are directly connected with the core frame and basically form the interface between the pilot and the other parts. It also concerns the generation and control of power for the other subsystems and modules/equalizers, as well as dictates how much power load the whole IS unit can sustain. Be wary when fitting power-hungry modules and equalizers, as it may cause the energy reserves to deplete and/or the unit incapable of operating the equipment, if the wrong subsystem is fitted.

Sensory: Systems that are linked with the Hyper-Sensor that define its capabilities, allowing sensor enhancements and modules to upgrade its senses- tailoring it to any situation. It also sets the capability of the unit to deal in and defend against Electronic Warfare. It also sets the electronic load the unit can sustain, meaning that you need to keep track of anything on the unit that makes calculations- or a mistake in fitting may cause the IS equivalent of a CPU Overload/Hang.

Mobility: Systems that define how the IS moves across the field, and also sets adjustments to mobility enhancing modules so that they can work efficiently. Take note that the IS can only have a single “format” of movement each time, so don’t think of crossing ground maneuverability and HiMAT, as not only it is preposterous, it is too much- as the first two Subsystem groups and the fixed slot/s would dictate the limit. It is much better to stick a single format of movement and take advantage of it.

Defensive: Systems that deal with protecting the Unit and the pilot using it and improves any defensive modules and equalizers that are fitted. Take note that the more you invest in a defensive shift, the less offense you can deal out and vice versa. Fitting is limited by how much Power and Electronic Load the IS has at the moment- by means of the Integrity and Sensory System and any active items.

Offensive: Systems that talk to other IS in combat (if you know what i meant by that). It optimizes the capabilities of whatever weapons it is equipped with. Be careful as some Equalizers are incompatible or unable to harness the properties of specific subsystems and what you can have on your hands at the moment are dictated by the Power and Electronic Load, as well as the number of (typical) High Bus Slots that are open.

It is reported that for every Subsystem Group, there are about 4 Subsystems each, bringing the grand mind-boggling total of 3125 possible configurations for the Metatron, giving it almost universal capability- only what are equipped and the pilot’s skills are the major factor. Or, that we might be simply exaggerating and putting random numbers to make people go swirly. If one thinks that shifting Subsystems would be a quick operation, you are proven wrong. Due to the rush to develop and field the Reconfiguration System, it was never planned on how to shift on the fly, and thus the IS needs to be docked on a stand or in Standby/Closed Form to change out subsystems- this presents a challenge to the user, as she needs to plan ahead on what subsystems to be used in a given situation- though it has been said that they are planning to integrate the Core Frame into the proposed “on-the-fly shift”.

As to how this unique IS ended up in the hands of the Philippine IS Selection Runner-Up, the details are extremely murky, but rumor has it that connections between her Family and ProtoTech LLC made this deal possible- it may be for another matter entirely.

Completely removing the Foundation and going with my original plan, taking over Australia (IRL, we've just bought over their financial industry and half of their telcos, and we form 20% of their student population in their universities) and turning it into a giant version of Singapore (which if you look closely Australia IS a giant island state). With Stratos changing the world, that is possible.

That would mean that in my fic, the Caliphate doesn't exist, the One Year War occured for a different reason, and Saintess' OC and various historical concepts will have to be tweaked to fit in. I hope you don't mind...

But be assured, Shooting Star was meant to be integrated with canon, and will be using canon characters as much as originals.

Okay, so in my fic that's:

- The Halycon: Built with 1G spare parts and a Yggdra condensor. Later models were refitted with a battery which holds core energy charge better and has a larger reserve. These were classified as battlesuits and by lacking an IS core exempt from the Alaska Treaty. However, the Halycon would still lose in a straight up fight against a complete IS (as stated by you), and would have to compensate with numbers. They still have to recharge using a complete IS. This generation has been half phased out of active service. The condensor is inferior in all ways compared to the battery, but miniturized designs are still found in various Singaporean IS subsystems. They have spilt over to the rest of the conventional forces as men have been found to be able to operate these machines powered by Y-cons.
- The Halybon: Built with Rafale parts and was integrated with a Yggdra battery from the get-go. In most technical specifications, it is equivalent to a 1G IS, but still lacking the higher executive functions found in a complete IS. While these units are scattered throughout the armed force divisions, they all form the 1st Battlesuit Regiment, informally known as the Black Knights. Like the Halycon, these battlesuits have to recharge using a complete IS, but can only be operated by females.
- The Halyeon: Promised to be the next 3G transformation of the armed forces, the Halyeon mounts an independent Yggdra engine, the final evolution of core energy systems that began with the capacitor a decade ago. Its frame was wholly developed in Singapore, based on data from the GLADIATORS project. Theoretical models estimate it to be close to late 2G IS. It is still under development.

After watching episode 7, I realized that I made the Fairlion Imouto the perfect counter to the AIC:

- All energy shots pass through it because they lack mass.
- Karon has the talent to match Laura's so dodging the railgun is no problem.
- Trapping her in the AIC doesn't stop her detached claws, or even the remote Imouto coming from behind.
- Saji diverting overboost power to the IS inertial dampeners can create a field that annuls the AIC's effect by enforcing the gravitational constant at a lower value(Taken from Star Trek)

Its like Axel VS Kyousuke all over again! Granted after checking the designs of all 4 units of Shooting Star, Sherry, Marina and Hoksui all can do that, and do it much better, as the other girls are not only honors graduates but veterans...

The Schwartz Regen is the pride of the German IS force, a versatile IS, the unit is mounted with a Railgun (In reality, should be classified as a Linear Gun), a set of energy tonfars and a set of mechanized wire daggers with a new feature called the Artificial Inertia Canceller. The pilot in the IS academy is Laura Boedwig, a super soldier turned IS pilot. She is a dangerous adversary who has proven to be a menace, engagement protocols are specially designed to Crest and Mirage Ravens

Magi's Attack Protocol: The Bloody Mask can be equiped with a bazooka which contains an powerful charge which can be set off with a couple of well placed pistol shots, if she chooses to stop the bazooka charge that is. Her Linear Cannon system is inhibited by lack of movement as she must stop to fire the weapon with any sense of precision. Due to the AC's OP-I, the unit is not limited by movement but still remember your mobility is impaired with any back cannon as demonstrated when the Genobee Variant. Vertical missiles are useful in this situation as she is defenseless against such attacks.

Empyrean Attack Protocol: Due to the Prophet's light armor, it is very easy for her to pull vital parts off your AC before you know it. Losing an arm will force you to replace the part completely due to corporate policy. I remembered some of the blading matches, you lost an arm and leg a couple of times.

Your AC should configured to "Dragon's tooth" (Dual Ladon Railguns and Dual Dragon Laser Rifles" to ensure maximum energy damage output against her, the Ladon's firing delay will serve to distract her as you pound away with the laser weapons. Close combat is NOT advised against her.

Details on the Canon Verse will be explained soon.

Appearance:His height is quite short compared to most,being around 5 feet 2 inches.He also being thinner than other male.And with his face looking quite feminine people who don't know him would surely think he is a she on first glances,this is quite troublesome for him as most guy just look at him in male changing room,wondering why a girl is here until he hit them so hard they forgot(May be this is the reason why this keep repeating...)His hair is grayish-white,and he always keep it short,if the hair get any longer,the chances of he get misunderstand as a girl is 100%(Even if he kept his hair short,the chances is still ridiculously high anyway).Sometimes,he has a ribbon or two tied on the back or sides of his head,which might be a plank by his elder sister,or just like it.His IS suit has the same design of a female one,having orange and black lining as colour(His elder sister is the one who ordered this,but he doesn't mind this though...and so is the entire class 2)

Personality:Due to most male(okay,maybe ALL)keep misunderstand about his gender,he doesn't talk to guy(He only male friend is a prevert,who only interested in girl).On the other hand,he doesn't talk to girl that much either,but he does have two girl friends(No,not that kind)though.When he is seriously stressed(in homework or battle),he can somehow get stronger and think quicker,but he needed to stressed to some serious level before having this game breaker power.While being cool-headed all the time,he can be quite hot-tempered at some occasions(Mostly revolved around Ichika,because he has some "too dumb to live"moments)

Background:He was always interested in IS even since it appeared,especially during the white knight incident.But,after he found out that IS is designed only for female,he feel quite disappointed,although he still hope that he can pilot IS somehow.After one of his elder sister(he has 2)left for the IS academy when he was 14,he give up on that dream.Then,Ichika,the first male IS pilot suddenly appeared out of nowhere,into everywhere...magazine,news,internet,his old dream started appear in his mind again.And it was during one of his visit to his elder sister in the IS academy that made him a male pilot.After hundreds of beggings to his sister,his sister brings him to the hangar which stored the IS,and it happened.The news of him being one of the male pilot spread all over the internet.And the school has no choice but to bring him into the IS academy despite the fact he is still in his third year in middle school(But it's not like he really care about this)

Appearance:Being 3m and 15cm tall,it's quite large frame for an IS.The frame has orange as the main colour and black lining at some part of the frame.It's also being squarish and bulky instead of slim and aerodynamic,even the fingers are being squarish instead of pointy like other IS.The wings,having the shape of crystal tear,have two bits that is attached at the bottom.The arms have a large pod that is used for putting firearm in(For an example,"Ghost" gauss rifle,larger firearm can also be put in,but it's not recommended for putting long range weapon in the arm as it's not accurate)

Description:Bushwacker is one of the two newest Gen-3 prototype made by the Rivet weapon company,but compared to other Gen-3 prototype,it's still early in development.While still being quite flawed,the bushwacker overcome the flaw by having a ton of firepower,and electronic devices that help the pilot find enemy and hide well.Being a testbed,The rivet company test all kind of weapon they developed on the Bushwacker,the new weapon and the old but heavily upgraded weapon.Although bushwacker has a variety of weapon,it can only take a number of weapon which is counted in point(Light:1,Medium:2,Heavy:3,Shoulder weapon:5),the ammo also counted in point as well,while it's infinite for light,medium and heavy arm,shoulder weapon has 3 magazine per point to limit its usefulness in arena battle.In real battle,the ammo is infinite,but the time to recharge ammo is quite long due to its complexity(which the pilot has to wait at least 40 second to recharge,adding more point increase storage and speed up recharge time,5 second per point),for now the Bushwacker can handle 20 point,which may increase with "shifts" and manual upgrade

Weaponry:Being a long-mid range IS,it doesn't have a melee weapon,because it don't need to.If the pilot decided to "alpha strike"(AKA fire everything),even an IS would have a hard time to recover from an attack like that

It's one of the first IS weapon Rivet produced,and it's keep getting upgraded,on the rifle and the slug.it's quite a small rifle for an IS,especially a heavy class IS like bushwacker,so they put it in the arms instead.

"Bulldog"Multi-purposed assault gauss rifle-20mm
A handheld weapon for IS pilot who just want more firepower.Other than the old-fashion buckshot for short range and HEAP(High explosive armor piercing)slug round.It also has air-burst(only for infantry)and incendiary(for cover and burning building)

"Charger" Gatling rifle-0.60cal
A gatling gun is a must-have for army al over the world,and so is an IS.While firing a small bullet compared to other ballistic weapon.It's as powerful as several GAU-8.Its firing rate and 800 round magazine make "Charge" bringing rain of bullet for 10 seconds.

"Archer"Gauss sniper rifle-0.70cal
The gigantic size of the sniper rifle is mostly composed of coil for accelerating the projectiles up to 8 mach,the force alone and pierce through everything that is man-made,except IS shield barrier.The projectiles for this rifle is depleted uranium coated with thick tungsten alloy,it's has fin for homing as well,though the homing ability only work when the target is 3 miles away,till 175 miles.

"Thunderbolt"Rivet autocannon-30mm(Explosive Charge),10mm(Tip)
Being a signature weapon designed by Rivet weapon company,"Thunderbolt" use a rather different round that is shaped like giant rivet(the old type).The round is designed to give maximum damage to the target,the round first pierce the armor or shield with the tip,then the explosive charge in the head explode,expand the
rivet and rip the target apart.

"Hedgehog"Spike cannon-50mm
Gained its name from the special round it use.The "Hedgehog" fire a 50mm in diameter spike ball.As the spike ball spin in the air,it fire the spikes while still travelling at 2 mach,giving the spikes speed up to 4mach.The spike ball can be shoot directly at the target,making it a spike grenade.

"Apocalypse-2.0"Dual-linked autocannon-80mm
The most awesome weapon that is exclusive for bushwacker,while it don't have electromagnetic accelerator to accelerate the bullet,the bullet contain an original formula of plastic explosive made by Rivet company themselves,making it packing a ridiculously powerful punch,and it capable of fire 120 round per minutes,although its magazine of 20 rounds would emptied before a minute

"Shell" Dish launcher-250mm(Dish diameter),20mm(Dish thickness)
The launcher,having the shape of a of two rail of the top and bottom,has a gigantic tungsten alloy dish as ammo for slicing through object at long range at the speed of 2 mach,and dish is also capable of homing and has a boomerang effect,fly back to the target several times depend on weather condition and the accurate of the enemy.

"Pike"Spear railgun-20mm(Spear diameter),85cm(Spear length)
Using gigantic spears as round in a revolver chamber,"Pike" can accelerate the spear up to 7mach.Due to the length of the spear,it can get stuck when piercing the shield,it's intentional.The spear than explode,causing massive damage to the shield.Th revolved chamber could only hold 5 spears as the spear is just massive and heavy.

"Taser"Small laser pulser
One of infantry-sized weapon made by Rivet company.But,the infantry version has to be downgraded because of being too hot and lack of coolant.Here on an IS,"Taser" reveal it's true form.Instead of firing a continuous beam of laser,"Taser" shoot pulses of laser to give it a longer firing time before give in to cool(Which only took 3 seconds)

Medium-
"Shark"Flamethrower
Flamethrower might be one of the first "energy weapon" that mankind produced but it's not that effective at first,now,things have changed."Shark" is capable of generating a flame with a range of up to 600meters from a type of dry chemical,while still having a white-hot temperature of 5000 degree celsius."Shark"gained its name from its custom paint job on the nose.Apparently a designer just think the flamethrower need a paint job.

"Rising Sun"Plasma assault rifle
The plasma bolt "Rising Sun" generate can go through more than 2km before dissipated into air.The plasma bolt also know to explode upon impact before of the large heat difference between the plasma and the target.Due to its slow velocity,it's work more as a mid range weapon than long range.Not only that,the rifle is know to explode if it get hit or just random because of the compressed gas,but the IS auto evolution progress has fixed that problem

Heavy-
"Solar"Particle projection rifle
"Solar" is capable of firing a small stream of particles near speed of light.Upon contacted with the target,the particles release all its potential energy and explode violently.Due to the extreme heat generated by the acceleration,the rifle use a small heatsink system to cool the rifle,but it still cost 4-5 seconds before another shot."Solar" can also fire more shot and rapidly by decreasing the power used for acceleration,but it is better to fire in full power than 50% power since it's a sniper rifle,and sniper rifle is built for power and range.

"Ray"Continuous laser beam cannon
The cannon is mostly composed of advanced coolant system for its specialized laser generator."Ray" can fire a powerful laser for a long time without waiting cool up to 20 seconds.Since it's firing laser,it also very accurate,making it unable to miss at all.Like all energy weapon,power can be decreased for more firing time.

"Nine"Cryomanipulator
It a rifle with technology that make people wondering it's alien or not.It's made by man anyway."Nine" absorb heat and water from the environment and used the heat to accelerate the hard ice.It's called manipulator for a reason.It can rapid fire small ice spike or fire large iceball like an autocannon.It can also chill thing around it to freezing point.How well it work depend on the user.

Shoulder weapon-
"Genesis"Plasma cannon
As plasma cannot be fire at extreme high speed,the designer instead made the plasma bolt more hotter and more powerful by using chemical instead of pure gas.The result is "Genesis".It use toxic chemical as ammo,making a plasma bolt that violently react with just about anything,causing the target to disintegrate into dust and ash.On the other hand,upon impact with shield barrier,it just explode with mini mushroom cloud.Mostly due to the heat generated from the acceleration and the plasma bolt itself,a large amount of coolant system is needed and that's what made up the bulk of the cannon,even with the advanced system,It still took it 5-6 seconds to cool before firing another shot

"Prism"Gigawatt laser cannon
"Prism" gained its nickname from having a crystal prism in front of the cannon to focus the laser to near a single point.The prism can disintegrate into pieces if it got used too long because of the heat,one prism can handle 5-4 shot before cracking,and the laser cannon can fire 1 shot each 2 seconds.The prism is also armored on every side except the tips(which is where the beam enter and out),to make sure it doesn't break by "other hazard".The laser beam fired by "Prism" generated heat up to 9000 degree celsius on the target.

"Annihilator"Antimatter cannon
The LHC,also known as Large Hadron Collider,now has a compact version of it,and it's small enough to fit in a cannon.The "Annihilator" first generate an antimatter,then put it in a shell by using electromagnetic.and fire it.The result is quite....explosive.While it's not that powerful,it has a powerful shield cracking effect.Because of the massive amount of energy needed to generate antimatter.It's a one shot weapon.

"Thumper"Support grenade launcher-30mm
Used-by the infantry in USA as a support weapon,while some people might think this is a down-grade(from 40mm to 30mm).The Rivet company made the 30mm pack more power than the old 40.The smaller size also mean more ammo.Against IS...well,it don't even work against tank or APC.But,as the name suggest,it's a support weapon.The ammo included smoke,targeter(instant lock on for other weapon)and decoy rocket(which does nothing but attract the enemy and missile)

Combination of a tank killer and powerful handgun,"Berserk"is a specialized weapon that suprise the enemy in unexpected way.Beside the common HEAP round,it's also has air mortar and incendiary.The air mortar is a evolution step for a weapon that haven't been upgrade for several decade.First,the user need to aim the revolver straight up and fire,when the round reached certain height,it's open its casing and point the tip downward,then,it start the thruster and fly straight down while homing to the enemy,with the help of gravity and thruster,it can reach speed up to 2mach before landing on ground or the enemy.

"Swarm"Rotary multi rocket launcher-20mm
Designed to pierce armor and damage everything in it,"Swarm"has born,the same time when cheap yet powerful missile is made.Swarm is capable of launching 6 small rocket at the same time or continuously fire all rocket at a slower rate.The rocket also has slight homing capability,but it doesn't fly for a long time.

"Trapper"Support long range missile-60mm
Despite no being able to blow things up,"Trapper" gained its name from its ammo,air mine and air nail.When trapper reached near its target,it opens up and reveal the suprise inside.The air mine float in the air and with chase and blow up when enemy get close enough,forming a danger area.The air nail(which don't really look like nail but a sphere)slow down the target by thrusting in the opposite direction of the target,if there is enough air nail,the target will unable to move at all and became a siting duck.

"Lancelot"Double edged blade missile launcher-50mm
It's was a rather weird weapon,instead of blow up,its cut through armor with pure kinetic energy instead.The missile is just several thruster with a heavy tungsten alloyed blade attached to it.The missile launcher is a combination of heater and launcher.It first heat the blade up to 3000 degree celsius,then the launcher launch the missile out with magnetic rail,sending it at speed up to 4mach.

Shoulder weapon-
"Ragnarok" Triple edged blade missile launcher-110mm
When "Lancelot" first appear,someone is not convinced that it would work,until it sliced 3 tanks,2 reinforced concrete wall that is 2 feet thick,in one shot(and it also convinced people that IS shield is ridiculously powerful,since it took several dozen hit before going down),and so "Ragnarok"was born,more like demon spawn.The missile,being a lot more heavy than its cousin,can cut through all manmade material,and almost pierced through IS shield("Ragnarok" has to be downgraded to match arena rule).But its huge size is quite a weakspot,as experienced(very) IS sniper user can shot the missile out of sky to the ground,on the other hand,melee user can just cut the missile because it's just so huge.

"Rain"4x3x3 Multi missile launcher-40mm
The old-styled box missile launcher can launch out 12 missiles in one salvos.Not only that,it also has high homing capability and a long flight time.Making it quite a troublesome weapon for ranged IS

"Long Tom"Gigantic Air Mortar Launcher-120mm
An up-sized version of the 50mm one.It work in the same way except "Long tom" is more quicker(more thruster power)and more powerful.Its large size also mean it can get shot out of the air before reaching target.

"DeathStrike"Gigantic one shot missile launcher-150mm
It's a one shot,one kill,ultimate anti-IS weapon that seem impossibly impractical.Its missile it so large,its length is 2/3 of Bushwacker height,even for beginner IS sniper,its easily to shot it,but it's armored in just about every place.It's also mind-guided,meaning the pilot can control it manually and "play" with the enemy with it.Even without pilot,the AI on board can use basic evasive skill to dodge enemy bullet and(mostly) missile.To melee user who think of slicing it and quickly run away,you are dead wrong,the missile can detect large impact and explode in just milliseconds.And to energy blade user,forget about cutting,it explode instantaneous and it rip the shield and blade apart.Cutting at the tip can result in deployment of Absolute Defend.Shooting the tip at long range on the other hand make it explode into something that is 1.5 time larger than MOAB mushroom cloud.All of this making it a prefect anti-melee weapon,until the thruster fuel of 10 second run out and drop onto the ground safely without exploding.Hence its name,it's also a one ammo per magazine weapon...

Bits-
There are only two bits that come with Bushwacker,two large bits being in the size of 1meter long from tip to back,40 cm from side to side and 70cm on...the other side to side.Each bit can handle 2 points of weapon and device.The device include "Heal" and "Shield".The "Heal" device is just energy generator,it help regenerating the shield to full power between 2 to 3minits,but a fight mostly finish in less than minutes.The "Shield" device on the other hand,is,well,a shield,while it doesn't have shield barrier like an IS,it has a hard ablative armor,in fact,it's so hard,you need to have a focus impact on a single point to break through it(But a really power blast should blast it into pieces in one hit).The bits can dock on the wing to reload ammo,it can also fire while still on dock.On the other hand,device-installed bit don't need to dock,as they don't have ammo to reload to begin with...

Electronic device:Because of its low speed,Rivet company has installed advanced sensory system to aids the pilot in long range combat.It also has radar camo to make Bushwacker undetectable in radar(This device is quite useless on arena though...)

Alpha striking, in the usage of firing all weapons on a manned unit, is an appropriation by first the Battletech community, later gamers as a whole, and would rarely be used by a professional serving military officer.

Also, not keen on the male OC. What makes Ichika unique is he's the only guy in the world who can use an IS.

Sounds like the kind of guy who needs to come join the IS: For Answer-verse. Canon Style just isn't militarized enough to go that far with their indoctrination. Over here? We got plenty of official "war zones", an exclusive "Mercs" only IS Arena, and an official IS battling league, so the ISA actually has to train prospective pilots to be more than just one woman prima donnas. After all, the act of acting alone on impulse might get you into things way over your head, and before know you it, you might be dead.

Mr. Controller might even get along well with a certain individual known simply as, "Coach", THE dreaded combat instructor of every first year.

Background:He was always interested in IS even since it appeared,especially during the white knight incident.But,after he found out that IS is designed only for female,he feel quite disappointed,although he still hope that he can pilot IS somehow.After one of his elder sister(he has 2)left for the IS academy when he was 14,he give up on that dream.Then,Ichika,the first male IS pilot suddenly appeared out of nowhere,into everywhere...magazine,news,internet,his old dream started appear in his mind again.And it was during one of his visit to his elder sister in the IS academy that made him a male pilot.After hundreds of beggings to his sister,his sister brings him to the hangar which stored the IS,and it happened.The news of him being one of the male pilot spread all over the internet.And the school has no choice but to bring him into the IS academy despite the fact he is still in his third year in middle school(But it's not like he really care about this)

Weaponry:Being a long-mid range IS,it doesn't have a melee weapon,because it don't need to.If the pilot decided to "alpha strike"(AKA fire everything),even an IS would have a hard time to recover from an attack like that

The launcher,having the shape of a of two rail of the top and bottom,has a gigantic tungsten alloy dish as ammo for slicing through object at long range at the speed of 2 mach,and dish is also capable of homing and has a boomerang effect,fly back to the target several times depend on weather condition and the accurate of the enemy.

"Rising Sun"Plasma assault rifle
The plasma bolt "Rising Sun" generate can go through more than 2km before dissipated into air.The plasma bolt also know to explode upon impact before of the large heat difference between the plasma and the target.Due to its slow velocity,it's work more as a mid range weapon than long range.Not only that,the rifle is know to explode if it get hit or just random because of the compressed gas,but the IS auto evolution progress has fixed that problem

"Solar"Particle projection rifle
"Solar" is capable of firing a small stream of particles near speed of light.Upon contacted with the target,the particles release all its potential energy and explode violently.Due to the extreme heat generated by the acceleration,the rifle use a small heatsink system to cool the rifle,but it still cost 4-5 seconds before another shot."Solar" can also fire more shot and rapidly by decreasing the power used for acceleration,but it is better to fire in full power than 50% power since it's a sniper rifle,and sniper rifle is built for power and range.

"Ray"Continuous laser beam cannon
The cannon is mostly composed of advanced coolant system for its specialized laser generator."Ray" can fire a powerful laser for a long time without waiting cool up to 20 seconds.Since it's firing laser,it also very accurate,making it unable to miss at all.Like all energy weapon,power can be decreased for more firing time.

As plasma cannot be fire at extreme high speed,the designer instead made the plasma bolt more hotter and more powerful by using chemical instead of pure gas.The result is "Genesis".It use toxic chemical as ammo,making a plasma bolt that violently react with just about anything,causing the target to disintegrate into dust and ash.On the other hand,upon impact with shield barrier,it just explode with mini mushroom cloud.Mostly due to the heat generated from the acceleration and the plasma bolt itself,a large amount of coolant system is needed and that's what made up the bulk of the cannon,even with the advanced system,It still took it 5-6 seconds to cool before firing another shot

"Prism"Gigawatt laser cannon
"Prism" gained its nickname from having a crystal prism in front of the cannon to focus the laser to near a single point.The prism can disintegrate into pieces if it got used too long because of the heat,one prism can handle 5-4 shot before cracking,and the laser cannon can fire 1 shot each 2 seconds.The prism is also armored on every side except the tips(which is where the beam enter and out),to make sure it doesn't break by "other hazard".The laser beam fired by "Prism" generated heat up to 9000 degree celsius on the target.

Try doing THAT when you are studying for exams on how to cheat others out of their money in the future persuade others to part with their personal finances. And I just realised that you added the "slacker" trait to Karon - exactly what I wanted because Rachel is her direct opposite. I forsee that Rachel will always be the one cleaning their dorm in the future.

And the VA for Kari is decided. Mizuki Nana - motherly (to that lazy wolfgirl), supportive and friendly (towards Rachel when she doubts herself), and the DMZ (between Rachel and Karon), also that she has a brilliant voice for singing too. Atashi no uta wo kike!

Though I haven't decided who for that little kuudere.

I don't think that tech has advanced THAT far yet to have moon colonies, Kha - and if there are any, those places would be US, not Singapore. Why? US has a bigger economy, plain and simple. Nationalism is all fine and well but keep it in check. That's why my OC will probably be British rather than Malaysian - then again we do send some cadets to Sandhurst and Dartmouth from time to time for training...

You can make a male charecter if you wish - my OC, Widow Six Seven, is a British Army FAC. But as a pilot? No. Ichika is the only male IS pilot in the world. Let's keep it that way.

As for male presence at the IS academy... most places would actually limit the male staff - it is a glorified girls school, afterall, but it's not unknown to have male teachers at girls schools. Place him in a teaching role, perhaps, or admin - be creative. With Widow Six Seven, he's an FAC who's training third year students in following ground control instructions and working together in groups...

...and he may be the only person in the academy who isn't cowed by Cecilia Alcott. In fact, she'd be cowed by him.

Also something that's been bugging me - are IS used for warfare or not? Because Chifuyu apparently spent time with the German Army as an instructor, but there's mentions here and there that IS aren't supposed to be used as weapons. It's a bit maddening.

I ask because I have thoughts as to how Widow Six Seven and the British Army would employ IS in the battlespace, working in conjuction with existing assets (because let's face it, when you've spent billion of Pounds Sterling on the Apache AH1, the Crazy Prepared improved British version of the American Apache Longbow, developed by the boffins at Westland, you're damned well going to use it).

But having a guy that's a badass normal like Mwu La Flaga isn't bad... My own char has this recorded in his bio. He pwned an IS with a modified F-22 raptor. XD

Okay, current thoughts - I am assuming that the British Ministry of Defence has a vested interest in following IS development and creating doctrine for IS operations in conjuction with ground forces.

With the Apache AH1, they can modify existing US doctrine as well as create their own, but it doesn't detract from the fact that until 656 Squadron went to Helmand there was no Apache doctrine.

This time around, the British Army wants to get a foot into shaping IS doctrine for when it will inevitably become a weapon, and so has a number of observers at the IS academy, one of whom is a British Army officer with the callsign Widow Six Seven, a Forward Air Controller...

With the advent of the IS, the British Army and Royal Air Force recognised that the new vehicle would have tremendous implications to a new paradigm in air warfare. As such, the MOD decided that along with sending representative Cecelia Alcott and the Blue Tears, the Army would quietly send several observers to IS Academy, to begin building a working knowledge of IS capabilities that would serve as a foundation for the nascent IS doctrine.

Widow Six Seven has served in combat, and thus has an appreciation for what air power can do, when properly employed. Currently his role is to observe and collect data for building doctrine, though there have been talks about involving him closer to the Academy...

Widow Six Seven has trained as an infantryman and as a tank platoon commander, before retraining as an FAC to serve in combat. He is regarded as a bullet magnet, which means that the chances of him serving in a conventional combat role are unlikely, causing his change of career path. As an FAC he is versed in the tools of the trade, and is capable of conducting analysis on his observations.

Widow Six Seven may also be the one person who Cecilia Alcott would feel a sense of social inferiority towards...

There's a certain bit of crack that can be found with this OC. Consider it my little in-joke at Cecilia's expense. XD
