Here's my attempt at vectoring that series logo image I posted earlier. Linked due to size:

K-ON! logo image

I don't do a lot of vectoring so my apologies if it's crappy. The guitar in the middle of the Hiragana "O" was a real pain in the ass. I also tried to match the font of the "K-ON!" in English there, Arial looked like it worked well for that for now. Overall it's hardly great, but I think it looks decent enough.

You should watch Hyakko and decide for yourself. I feel it was a well-executed series, though many people were put off by what they perceived as low production value. I felt it was one of the most consistent series in terms of art/animation, sound (very well done) and characters.

Seeing as most of K-ON!'s main cast are practically rookies, while Lucky Star and Hyakko shared only Aya Hirano...

the k-on! characters look very similar, so if you like one then you'll like them all, and viceversa. Of course, there's people that value variety as such so this sameness would turn them off. i'm the kind of person that will order the same dish at the restaurant ten times straight so it doesn't bother me...

It's currently on my to-watch list since it's the type of show I generally enjoy.

I have a monstrous backlog though and it doesn't help when a show like K-on comes along.
