I know nothing of this whatsoever, but I kind of like the character designs.

Is this an adaptation of a Japanese or Taiwanese manga?

My sleeper radar is beeping. No solid basis for that whatsoever - I just like the look.

Looks like Crunchyroll has picked this one up. I'll finally get to watch this, tough I'll probably wait for a few episodes to accumulate. (What I've seen so far was pretty good.)

I really enjoyed the 6-7 eps that got subbed.

Yup, confirmed - this series is a little gem. Quite emotionally impactful in it's way.

CR included the extras, and the first one is hilarious in a rather disturbing way. The theme is "What power would you want if you were modified?" Sugiyama Riho (who plays Tanis) goes first and basically riffs in Kansai-ben for about three minutes about what a shotacon she is, and the other two are like "Well - we should have ended with that, because now anything we say is going to be pretty tame." But Sugiyama-san keeps going and eventually the others are "For the love of God, please stop!"

Episode 12 was the last one, right? That was a bit... stange for an ending. I do hope they'll continue one day. I really liked this series.
