ending felt kinda like a filler, it was ok though
ending could have been better, i guess if they plan on a season 3(it's def popular enough to warrant the thought) then i can see why they want to drag this out further i enjoyed it though, some issues with the season but nothing drastic, hopefully there's a season 3 if not that ending will be tremendously underwhelming |

Definitely not on par with S1 "balance". S2 definitely was more light hearted, but also more jarring because the composition of the series as a whole was sloppy.
I think this episode could work well halfway in the season, with satone having the limelight early on, and the rest of the series is used for progressive romance and antics. But the current composition sidetracked too much the main focus of the series, leading to a very belated blooming romance. In fact, because of the disparity due to so many side character episodes, it felt like Yuuta and Rikka relationship went backwards despite it didn't. And by the time Yuuta and Rikka finally make a big step forward, the season ends without anything to work on. I see why KyoAni is concluding the series with such "innocent" approach (and it isn't like they won't kiss anytime soon, as they were doing it naturally before THAT happens), but it is getting too candid at this point. I would be fine if it was at the end of S1 or something, but not at the end of S2 which is basically more than a year after their first meeting. In a nutshell, this season 2 had few better moments than S1, but couldn't really capitalize on these few key points, and strained in a very murky package as result. I had good time, but disappointed nonetheless. Something like this could work I think: Spoiler for hypothetical changes:

that episode was good, the only think i dont like is how kyoani is try to dilute the romance the most of their can and like first season another lip kiss troll, this was the most cheese romance i see, peoples going from "holding fingers" to kiss in cheek omg, really maybe in more 10 years their finally kiss of the lips, but even with all the minor hate and some complain at last for me the series was really good, not was awesome like first season, but was enjoyable, i liked the kumin episode and the dekomori/nibutani x stalker little subplo, i feel more like this season their tried fo focus more on the others characters rater than yuuta and rikka, give then more shine (more sadness in ishiki case poor buttmonkey), then later finished their development, now let's see if we can get a third season in the future, maybe in 2016 or 17. |

What a lackluster ending. It was just so anticlimactic and... well. Flat-out lame. Not much else I can say about it. It's not that they necessarily HAD to kiss, it just doesn't feel like a worthy enough ending episode to all of the rest that we had to endure to get to this point at all. I'm pretty disappointed. More than I anticipated I would be, honestly.

i think the idea of this season was pretty much, "you dont need do things because of others peoples are asking" but only if you want, or just because your pace is to freaking "slow(more than a slug) you dont need to force yourself to "speed up it", even if it take a freaking 10 or 100 years it's your pace and only if you really want is which you must change. |

This is the third series (WCW, Mikakunin) that ends without a good kiss in the lips and guess what? They are the three best selling series, so maybe less is more, at least sales wise. In comparision, Sakura Trick (that had some kind of kiss in every chapter, some even with tongue) hovers around the manabi line. Heck, after 25 years Oh my goddess is ending and I would not be surprised if we do not see a kiss (or if it is only implied).
If you ask me, it makes sense that Makoto is gay, I still remember that scene in season one where he was getting too friendly and gets a kick (Dekmori was also getting too friendly with Rikka, but we have long known she is lesbi or at least bi-). I do think they are expecting a third season since there was little advancement in the nibutani-dekomori front >_< |

It was just bad. S2 in whole was worser than S1 but I still hope for romance development. Meh. I don't want such a developments. Damn you, KyoAni, you messed up the only good series, you had made since Clannad AS

Yuuta and Rikka as a couple are yawn inducing. Especially Rikka, who is (at least to me) completely useless and dull as a main girl.
I had dropped this show around ep5 and picked it back several weeks later after being told that Sophia was playing a larger role on the plot. Not that I wanted/expected her to win Yuuta's affection, but she's far more enjoyable to watch than Rikka anyway. Nibutani also had her share of "bro" moments that did wonders for my perception of her character.. but overall I felt that this season was a disaster. |

I knew there would be no kiss (because Kyoani, masters of cop-out) but it was still extremely disappointing after all that build up, especially given how they were interrupted. Second time in the series they've pulled that crap.
This season was very average and a completely unnecessary sequel. Some episodes were fun (mostly the ones focusing on Shinka) but the rest was flat and boring. It's kind of a waste of Kyoani's talent.
