Yeah, the ReZEL in MA mode can act as a sub-flight system for slower MS like the Jegan.

Well MS riding on transformable MS has been here a long while, the earliest example I can recall is in ZZ where Ple's Qubeley Mk2 rides on Judau's Zeta. You also can have something more recent like Dynames riding on Kyrios during the desert fighting ep of 00 S1.

yeah, they looked much better than those bulky Methuss units, cuz i think the Methuss are like a bunch flying yellow school buses,

& an MS riding another MS has been around since the original series.

Chapter 1 Summary :-

Starts off on board the cargo ship "Garancieres" alerted to battlestation with impeding MS attacks. 18 Year Old Marida Cruz boarded her MS, the Kshatriya, to intercept the incomings attackers. For some reason unknown, she refer and regards the Captian of the Garancieres, Zuberoa Jineman, as her Master

Marida faced the small MS squardron consisting of 2 Jegans and a Stark Jegan in which she disposed the 2 Wingmans with Funnels and elimated the Stark with a Beam Saber to the cockpit. During the battle, we learn that she is a member of the zeonic terrorist group knowned as "The Sleeved" due to their MS bearing a golden insignia of what seems like a pair of wings on a black background on the cuff of the MS directly above the arms.

Unknown to all, there's a young female stowaway aboard the Garancieres. Waiting for a chance to alight when the ship reaches the destination, the still in construction colony of Industiral 7.

Scene change to the high school student of Barnage Links waking up early as always before 5 am to earn some extra cash by doing the odd job of clearing up space debris left from the wars for Anaheim before heading to school. For some odd reasons, he has this psyche of feeling "outcasted" from everything. Including schools, friends and even society, despite trying his best to fit in. Maybe the feeling stemed from his childhood as he never met his father and his mother is always on the move with him as if trying to avoid his dad all the time, thus allowing him few friends before she died. And Barnage's father didn't even come to funeral. (He did send a represntative and well as arrangement as well as finance Branage's education).

But somehow, Barnage sense that things with change when he seens a White Horned MS flashing pass his eyes on his way to his odd job.

Scene shifted to the secret docking area of the Unicorn where the calibration of the MS is in it's final phase under the eyes of Cardias Vist as he ordered the NT-D mode to be locked under the Laplace program.

Back to the Garancieres where we learn that the reason The Sleeved is there is only because the Vist Foundation had contacted them because they wanted to give them the Laplace Box for free. (Laplace Box seems to be a very huge object there, as the Vist ordered that they must make a lot of space for it.)

As for the stowaway, she leaves the ship in secret and changing to civilian clothings in the ship docking areas and figured out the best way to sneak in is via the conduit unit of the Artifical Sun of the colony.

Meanwhile, Barnage arrives only to find out that there's nothing on the scheduel for him to do that morning (Interrupted by the arrival of the Garancieres for the secret deal.) He chill in the cafeterial, making small discussion with his pal, Takuya about a ruin of a Geara Doga (Barnage mistook it for a Zaku) before heading to school.

On his way, he spots the stowaway, a 16 year old girl, riskyly trying to climb down the pillar of the artifical sun. (Her original route was blocked and had to resort to this) He sees her position as well as timing only to figure that that either she could fall to her death of be fried when the sun switchs old.

Havong no time to consider things, he hijack a mini-MS, jump all the way up to rescue her as she falls and finally crash landed in a park , resulting in a small crater. His thanks in return is a question raised by the girl asking where's the residence of the mayor of the colony and whether he can take her there as she is in a hurry to prevent another war from happening. Barnage refused due to all the ruckus that had broken out and he recieved a chided of being a coward before the girl disappear leaving Barnage to clear up the mess.

OVA = Original Video Animation. Episodic animated features released directly to video/DVD.

In this case they would be referred to as "ONA" which is Original Net Animation, or anime released during to the web first.

Judging from the summary at least, it wouldn't be that short (if this whole thing is true).

A better comparison would probably be Tomino's "Wings of Rean" ONA that was released a few years back. A series of six full 30 minute episodes and released first on streaming websites, then onto DVD.

I doubt this info (such as the animation directors) would be coming out so soon though, especially since they've only just finished the storyboards for Ep 1... Though I guess a leak is not impossible.
