Allow me to express my heartfelt and sincerest apologies for ever bringing up this topic.

Edit: I just finished vol 4. Shall we start a discussion on vol 5? Namely, how do you all think Naga is going to beat the crusaders? What was that weakness he said he spotted? Feel free to use everything mentioned in the book, the Cassandora kingdom, the rest of the witch-purging army... Even introduce another witch or two with new powers. Also assume that Raibaha and Leila came back and are successful in their missions.

Here's a personal summary of the series

Spoiler for Vol 1:

Naga falls into the bath house of the witches. After the initial commotion he is given an introduction to the world he fell into. He has lost his memories, supposedly from the shock of falling. The Harrigan family decide to take him in.

A group of 200 soldiers attack the first fortress, which is manned by Harrigan's family. Harrigan sweeps them aside with the giant puppet she controls with her hair. However the troops brought a battering ram which they used to take down the puppet. The puppet self-destructs from Leila's talismans which are placed on it, causing the troops to retreat.

Naga, Yuki, Aies, Nonoel are tasked to carry a spare puppet from the village to the fort. On the way they see the first fort being attacked. Naga and co manage to repel the invaders and group up with the witches who were inside. Naga shows a plan to help defeat the troops around.

It involved Yuki carrying Leila's burning talismans and dropping them onto the troops who came in and assembled in the open area of the fort. All the troops which tried to run out were then attacked by Nonoel's water spears and Aies's log-throwing.

Later Yuki discovers the nearest kingdom, Cassandora, is gathering an army of 2000 to attack the witches.

Spoiler for Vol 2:

For reference, battalion>company>platoon. Only one battalion actually fought so all companies and platoons mentioned are from that battalion.

The army of 2000 is split into 3 battalions and one support unit. The first battalion sets off at dawn and the rest are supposed to follow behind later. The scouts from the first battalion spot a group of logs standing on the opposite side of the river. A few platoons from 2nd company are sent out to check. They are attacked by arrows as those logs had Harrigan's hair in them and acted like archers. The 2nd company commander, fearing his command will be relieved sent the rest of the 2nd company over to try and salvage the situation. They were all killed.

The battalion leader, feeling exactly the same as the 2nd coy co, sent over the other 3 companies. The 1st and 3rd coy made it over but the 4th coy was swept away by the flood caused by Naga and co damming the up-stream of the river. The 1st and 3rd coy faced the puppets Naga, Kei and Kuu. The 2nd battalion commander was killed by Nonoel when he tried to cross the river.

The general of the entire army decided to pull back in light of the new way the witches were fighting.

Spoiler for Vol 3:

Naga was introduced to the Slaymaya family of witches with Vita as their "mother". The Harrigan family and Slaymaya family set out to capture Ein fortress. With Vita's weight controlling magic immobilizing the troops in the fort, Yuuki carried Nonoel and another witch one at a time. Nonoel soaked the troops and the other witch used lightning to knock them out. Kei was sent in with nets and pegs to keep the troops pinned down even if they recover. The church decides to send the "88 crusaders" over to subjugate the witches

Spoiler for Vol 4:

Naga and several witches sneaked into the capital as an entertainment troupe. There they discovered that the church was sending approximately 3500 troops and 500 crusaders (the 88 crusaders). The crusaders left the rest of the army behind and headed to the fort by themselves.

Although Vita tried to keep the crusaders down with her magic, their silver armor helped to negate most of its effects and they could still function. Aies tried hurling boulders and logs at them but after the first shot, the crusaders used their longbows to suppress her. Yuuki couldn't bring the lightning witch close enough due to the longbows. Arurugan's wolf pack were ineffective. Harrigan's puppets were crushed by the crusader's commander.

During this fight, a separate group of witches were sent to attack the rest of the army to make them think the Cassandora kingdom was attacking them and Raibaha was sent to purchase slaves to use as troops. Naga says he has spotted a weakness of the crusaders but whatever could it be?

About his past he at some point remember then forget again
maybe it's because the boundary of the different world, don't know for sure yet

Naga prefers to finish off the enemy who are left on the verge of death, so as to end their suffering.

I wonder if this was the way how samurais settled their fight.

That's his form of mercy, to put them out of their misery.

Raibaha isnt gay at all. Though the readers like to use him and Naga as a joke for fun the for it. Mainly because there wasnt any proper indication of any girl actually falling for Naga until volume 4. Raibaha was in joy because he saw Naga as a talented leader who would be able to create the world where there isnt any battle between human and witches as well as humans killing each other. After all, that was the reason why his wife and daughter was killed.

And dont worry. Aisu practically admitted of liking Naga since she imagined of making a child with Naga in v4.
Cant wait for v5 which is coming out in January.
