Lol yea the scene with Shizuoka was a nice little reversal on the typical "guy caught while girls are bathing" bit.

Not a whole lot happened this episode but it was still good nude fun like the previous episodes.

The maturation of Yahagi Sayuri as a seiyuu continues apace. I had no idea until the credits that it was her playing the new girl, Maaya, in ep6. This role is nothing like any of her previous roles. Not Karin, not Gretel, not Kuu. But it does make use of the squeeze-toy intensity of her high voice.

She defiantly seems to get the most fun scenes lately, but the topper had to be the money shot at the very end of the episode with the ka-ching sound effect...So random it made me laugh like crazy.

Shows still dumb as can be, but so much fun at the same time.

The Captain owned again. ...Which like I'm guessing of just about everyone reading here, throughout the race was hoping for the Captain to win. Which... ...wait... who got the changing room?

And that's all I have to say. "Mushrooms..." ...Everybody laughs, ...And we just move on. God forbid should this end up sprouting some rumors about her later on in the series.

But the very end of the episode with that seal... If you were initially thinking, dog on Pikachu, I think the animators were attempting to do that too. But something must've stopped them in the middle at some point. Which probably because, and this is my best guess, that they just couldn't get any work done for the next episode. ...They got timetables to deal with. So they likely just decided to go with the lighter Kermit setup.

hi no ken Jebus Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2004	Spoiler for ep 5: Pretty well rounded episode with a little bit of everything. Amuro's naivety when exploring Kaname's room was nicely done. As was the scene with Shizuoka at the temple mishearing Kaname and Amuro talking. The part with her talking about her grandmother's keepsake was pretty touching too. Anyway next time looks like a new girl gets introduced so it should be something to look forward to

hi no ken Jebus Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2004	Spoiler for ep6: Maya, Kaname's selfish/spoiled/manipulative/aspiring model/childhood friend is a very fun character but that's because I like her voice actress. Sort of expected that she would develop some kind of rivalry with Amuro so should be interesting to see where this goes. I liked this one plenty of funny moments like the show the girls gave in Maya's changing room and anything involving Shizuoka. Next time looks like Maya will be even more selfish and annoying so looking forward to that.
