Not that I've heard. Seems the author is busy helping with the anime. Doing that and LN and WN was too much so decided to put WN to the side for now. So I'm expecting WN to resume when anime work is over.

The volume 9 of the LN of Kumo it’s officially out in English!!! I read it in line one day... I couldn’t stop reading!!! It’s soooo good!!!! :3 Also... did we just get some Yuri by the end of it? I was taken by surprise by the changes that they made specially to the fated meeting and reveal... I’m really looking forward to the next volume!

I'm still not yet reading it. I have a copy but I'm stalling for reading it. The wait for each volume in slow press is just soooooooooooooooo long that reading 1 volume would just make me more thirsty for more.

I was surprised by that bit as well when I read the raw. I think I mentioned it in my summary here...

While v9 is fun v10 is a lot more intense.

A part of my brain wasn’t sure if it was happening or not since I can be a bit of a Yuri fan... but,like... was that intentional? I’m not sure how to feel about that but I find it quite interesting. I guess it will have to do with how the WN and LN might get a different ending as the author stated on an interview.

I'm pretty sure it was intentional. I've no idea if it'll feed into the ending since I don't think it's come up again...

I've not yet gotten the feeling that the LN is heading for a different ending. At least, the "core" part seems the same. There's some minor differences but I think most of the differences are simply a better re-working of the WN's story, making the story and character progression smoother and clearer.

Vampire girl had really different relationship with white in LN. Its not mother and daughter at all. more like frienemy? Envy is messing with vampire girl more in LN than in WN.

Its funny to have your powers back because your drunk buuuuuuuuuuut.... its lame too >_>

Oni didn't ended up a massacre beyond the mountains. the part where he was forced to eat his sister isn't there too. He just ended up having kin eater. that was sad and evoking in WN when the tamer forced him into it.

I feel that at some point in the LN, the author tried to limit Gyurie’s involvement and some other stuffs by utilizing D too much.

Gyurie can’t be involved in UFO raid? D’s amusement.

Gyurie can’t handle Wrath by himself? D’s amusement.

It’s kinda weird especially when most of the part seems written better than the WN counterpart.
