I like ep 2 (skits 3 and 4), but the only thing it has over ep 1 is Stocking awesomeness IMO. It's gonna be hard to beat skit 2 though in my mind though, the speed chase was really good.
Also ep 2 makes me realize how annoying an abundance of badly pronounced English curse words and phrases is ("Fakku you BITCHI" and "Okkee shisu!" in particular don't sit well with me at all)... then again, I'm a perfectionist when it comes to pronunciation (e.g. I insist on using the French r when pronouncing French names, even though the French r is hard as heck to say ), so maybe it's just me. It's just like people exclaiming "Kawaii" while speaking English, and not even saying it right, which I also don't like. |

Oh my god... I just saw the first episode and it was amazing... It also reminds me a lot of The Powerpuff Girls (I'm sure it's been mentioned many times already in this thread) so it's like I'm doomed to love it. Although I'm not too fond of the fanservice (but the amazing animation makes up for it). It was kind of like HOTD, I just rolled my eyes at it, but I couldn't roll my eyes cause they were too glued to the awesomeness of everything else.

One thing I really liked about the second episode was the whole Sex in Daten City story. It had no relevance to the show's plot with the whole ghost hunting thing, but it still proved to be funny and entertaining. Plus, it gave more of an insight into Panty and Stockings relationship.

Which day the episodes air?.
The anime is very funny and a parody of cartoon network shows. It doesn't seem to have continuity, because episode 2 second part had no fights. For some reason, i think the ED doesn't fit the anime. Its...too depressing and calm compared to the anime full of comedy and action. |

I think the change of pace at the end works very well - it gives the various parts of your brain time to catch up with each other again! And how is it depressing? The lyrics are a little wistful maybe, but the whole thing is surely not depressing. They're angels, so they can't actually die. You see them driving off a cliff, eaten by a monster, sawn in two and starving in a desert. But at the end, they go up to heaven and come straight back down again, winking and doffing their halos as if to say "you didn't think we were really dead, did you?"
