Whoo, get to talk about it!

Amazing episode. First half was all anime original, but it was great fun seeing Irisviel act like an actual mother towards Kuro. They expanded the Luvia vs Bazette fight, which was pretty awesome. The CG wasn't the best, but after the atrocious CG in Sailor Moon, it looks grand. Luvia got a pretty badass moment, though it was eclipsed by Bazette being badass.

They also cut the scene that made Illya look like a horrible human being.

They covered about 2/3rds of chapter 13, and with two episodes left, it's pretty much guaranteed to end at chapter 16, as expected.

Good episode, but it's transitional. Kinda disappointed neither of the two "senpai" could do much against the enemy.
Now the real fight starts, can't wait for next week's episode!

They did make the longer conflict against Bazette fairly entertaining. Props to the Butler for giving a top notch effort. Unfortunately he was just outmatched. Well at least on the positive Luvia probably has pretty good policy about paying for medical bills .

Did like the visit of Irisviel to the school. Was a good chance for her and Kuro to have a moment. Also a good chance to show that conflict for Rin and Luvia. Certainly they need the cards, but can hardly convince themselves it's a good thing to try and take the Archer card.

Ends on a tough spot. You know some great moments will be ahead with that preview, but have to wait for them.

You can tell Luvia and Rin are softening towards Kuro, they've had to realize that taking the card would basically kill her. Was interesting to see the extra stuff in this episode, the Iri and Kuro moment was quite cute as Kuro finally got some of the parental love she had been wanting. Seeing her get TsunTsun about it from being embarrassed was cute too.

Can't blame for Luvia and Rin for losing this fight, Bazett is just too hax, looking forward to the inevitable battle next week as the girls fight for their lives against such a monster.

I feel more and more reluctant to believe the series is going to end in such an awkward spot. Can't help but wonder if this truly is going to be 10 episodes, at least for now.

Is Bazett usually a top-tier character in type-moon verse?
I only know of her from battle moon wars and she seems like a side character at most.

Nah, she's just enforcer level. She's not servant or DAA level. It is only in Prismaverse that she got quite a big buff.

That said canonically Bazette and her family do have access to a rather nasty Noble Phantasm that only they can use, so... who knows.

That NP is very dependent on certain conditions to be effective. Play Fate/Hollow to know more about her basically.

Amazing episode. The first half was pretty heartwarming since Kuro finally gets to have a moment with her mother and she even acts tsundere about it. Rin and Luvia are also warming up to Kuro and are now facing a serious conflict because of it.

The second half was awesome. Both Luvia and her butler were pretty badass and Rin tried to be sneaky in her own way. Unfortunately it wasn't enough to overcome Bazette. Now it's time for Ilya, Kuro and Miyu to go up against her.

Silver Link proves that they can do awesome anime only stuff.

Fixing awkward CG and some additional sequences or scenes would work here when they improve it for BDs.

Bazette gonna curb stomp main trio next week, can't wait~

She can fight on par with servant in Fate hollow.
So yes she is one of strongest normal human in type-moon verse.
But not top-tier character since there are many insane characters out there.

It just Rin and Luvia are just normal mage and Illya and others are amateur,
So she seem so stronger than she normally be.

Remember, the most powerful beings these girls have faced have been mindless Servants: unthinking beings. Even then they nearly lost more than once. Bazett is not only powerful enough to go toe to toe with Servants, but she's highly trained and skilled in combat as well. She would of course be the most dangerous opponent they've faced. In the Nasuverse as a whole, no, that universe is full of totally OP monstrosities who could take her. But none of them happen to be taking an active part in this story.

And that's not even mentioning certain totally hax capabilities of hers...

Don't mess with butlers... unless your name is Bazett, of course. Then you should not mess with priests, voiced by Nakata. All other human beings should be OK.
