Actually, it should have started a bit earlier if they kept the "You can call me Beato" line.

I'm thinking they might move it to somewhere in future episodes where it might be more appropriate. I have to say that Beato said that out of nowhere in Episode 2. They weren't exactly "close" yet. I'm guesing they might make her say it in Episode 3.

When you think about it using the "call me Beato" line in Ep3 makes the emotional connection much stronger, inversely making the troll crash at the end much worse.

Well I for one, since it really should have been said long ago, don't really mind either way if it's not said. Just saying that in contrast it'll make the emotional connection needed for the Ep3 troll to succeed much easier, but it's not really needed.

lulz, i love it when VN players are concerned that anime watchers wont/dont understand something. Its not like people are idiots from definition, you know xD I would say Higurashi was WAY more confusing to watch and so what? people love it nonetheless

LOL, that happened with me too. My friend was like "Huh, are you crazy?"

I guess people will start shipping BeaBato by EP3, specially if they fall for the epic troll. It's so moe you can't help but root for them. :3

Personally if they're going to end up confused, they should end up confused the right way: that they end up being having to use both hands to keep drool in their mouths because the story's complexities was presented properly and not because it was screwed up.

Even before I started shipping BatxBeato, I found this comment to be the major turning point in Beato's mood (happy drunk --------> pms) so they should keep it

I've seen anime only viewers comment that Beato's suit in Ep 2 takes years off her appearance.... her witches dress and hairstyle is the only thing that really makes her look "older".

Ohara's voice also makes Beato seem older. Not that I don't like it; I think it suits Beato perfectly.

I'm also curious to see how moe Beato's voice will sound like. Probably a bit younger than she actually sounds, and more energetic for the scene where young Rosa meets her. Gaah, curiosity is killing me. XD
