Not much info yet, aside from the fact that our red-headed friend is back, of course. Looks like it takes place in the "Oberian Gulf", where Adol meets a tribe known as the Normans. They're being terrorized by seemingly immortal beings called the "Griga", and it's up to our carrot-topped hero to figure out the mystery behind them. The battle system is split up between "solo" and "combo" modes, the latter of which involves controlling both Adol and another party member simultaneously (I guess sorta like Falcom's earlier Zwei games?) It's also confirmed that sea travel will be a major component here, but knowing Adol's history with boats....

Anyways, looks like Ys X is going for the whole viking theme, as the subtitle implies (which certainly has been a popular gaming trend these last few years, heh). A little disappointed that it doesn't seem to involve Adol visiting the heart of the Romun Empire, but I'll take what I can get at this point, lol. And hopefully, we'll have Dogi around to bash down some walls....

Oh, and of course it would be foolish of me to not mention the upcoming Switch port for Oath in Felghana. Now when are we gonna get that Ys V remake, Falcom?
