Simca (the character in my banner) is from Air Gear, in from which the "Sky" is their battlefield. and those wheels are AT parts. Iunno if that counts as "sky" though >_>

I would say it doesn't count. The picture should convey "Sky" to people even if they are not familiar with the characters used ... and in this case the banner doesn't do that.

the only nitpicking would be the font.

both banners you have shown are high grades, just like for winter contest, heh ^^

Is there one in particular you think would work? I always have troubles with that.

oh I want to do some but I'm not sure, its been a long time since I've touched any photoshop, I think it was with the halloween one, so I feel pretty rusty, if time passes and no one submits a Last Exile banner I'll give it a try

When you put both the guarding image I supplied in the 1st page, you can see yourself clearly if the edge blends or not.. unblended edge are disqualified.

So Cyz, Overture .. you guys have to redo the edge

Dan, the font's fine ... the gap between them are not.. put them closer to the girls in mid

Jojo.. other font please

Arakawa.. not only it doesn't convey the sky theme.. your edge needs a redo as well..

CK .. erm.. a bit gloomy IMO..

^ So is mine disqualified? I added the blending what nots (don't know why we need thoughs), but it is hard to see them because they fitted in my image. Plus the quality is mess up because I was trying to make it low as possible ><.

Will do a second attempt later.
