So far this year was rather tiring for me. Lot's of work and little free time. Oh well, the more older you get the more responsibilities jump in. But as long as I stay healthy and my family I'm looking forward to celebrate this end and the new beginning of next year.

Now here's a question for you all to add to your reply since a 'new years' thread has already been made now.
twenty ten ortwo thousand and ten (I've heard a few UK radio stations call the date for next year, but I'm curious to see how people will interpret 2010 around the world in English) As for the question, well, it depends on what goes down naturally, but I am happy to see the last of 2009, that's for sure.

It cannot possibly suck more than 2009 has, considering how consumer spending over the last quarter has gone up by 3.6%.
The economy won't get better in just 2010, but I hope it gets better enough for me to finally find work and stop leeching off other people.

All of the kids in my old high school (especially the ones who are graduating this year, they always sounded so odd when they yelled their year during our pep rallies) tend to call it twenty ten. I haven't really talked about it with anyone else, though.

I hate new years because it makes me stupendously older. My bday is near New year so whenever it comes its like a whole-year-timeskip. Don't understand why I feel this way. new year seems like a "fastforwarding button" to me. I like new year because of the fireworks..oh yes...the fireworks. its everywhere...the loudness of the neighborhood...the different mood...and the "loud midnight". since I can't really predict the outcome of this next year, i'm always neutral.

As for New Year's eve itself, It'll be a blast. I'll be going to my GF in Czech and spend it there, and also go on a meet with a bunch of Geocachers to greet the new year with them.
And as for how the year'll be... I'll be graduating "Gymnasiet" (Swedish equivalent to high school + some collage, I think) and move on to Uni. I'm thrilled, but at the same time afraid I'll choose the wrong line of education.. |

After all, passion cannot be used as a rice bowl, though the fact that securing a rice bowl before being happy totally sucks.
