These two girls are hopeless... this battle is not going to end well for one of them, possibly both. They have nothing to gain from this. Of course, this manga wouldn't be so amusing if Tomoko was smart and had a shred of common sense. Carry on

The best part was Tomoko leaving the bathroom with that, "You poor thing," expression on her face. Nothing hurts like pity from a loser.

I was confused by the reference to the class trip, which makes it sound like there's a chapter missing, but I guess that'll be the volume 5 omake.

In terms of Ch56, it does look like the Nico Tanigawa is aware of a certain American character voiced by Tomoko's seiyuu.

If that was the case I suppose it would be a result of Yuu being TOO popular with the boys and the girls started to avoid her and maybe Yuu even hears negative comments from the boys. Sadly Japan is a very chauvinist society where if a male bones a dozen females he is totally awesome, but if a girl does the same to dozen males she is a whore, slut, trash, etc.
