( ^ uploaded the video elsewhere & edited my previous post, sorry for the mishaps)

Some names from the staff found their way onto the web, Yasuhiro NAKURA among them.
Ogura Kobo and Hiromasa OGURA, art.
Music : Seikou NAGAOKA
http://rayclover.matrix.jp/blog-entry-1864.html but i don't know, the whole article looks like a joke

Can't help but take it with a huge grain of salt, especially Yasuhiro Nakura involvement in the project, the trailer is far from being on the same level than some of his other works.

The backgrounds look insanely detailed but then there is some character shots that look slightly off.

It's all true. I've read the article in Newtype itself. In the scene where the prince is out in the rain, Nakura drew every single animated rain drop himself, and there were about 700-800 layers of animated rain. Sounds really dumb and extreme for something which isn't really going to make a huge difference, but that's what they're doing.

The movie is also being animated and mastered in 4k HD, so it's 4096p as opposed to a blu-ray resolution of 1080p.

Edit: I should probably also add that it's mentioned that there are only 3 core animators involved in the entire project. Nakura is one of them, and I presume Nagano is another since he credited himself with animation as well when the project was announced.

Sorry for bringing up a year old thread.

Can't wait to see this movie. But mostly I can't wait for Nagano to finish with this monstrosity so he can get back to drawing The Five Star Stories.

Anyone else think that Gothicmade is some kind of FSS side story? It certainly has all the elements of belonging within the FSS universe...probably somewhere between the fall of the Farus de Kanon and the current FSS timeline. I'm pretty sure I saw Nein at the end of that trailer.

I believe so, but man does this anime still seem Soooooooo Far Away!

Oh my dear goodness. I just watched the trailer. I don't make jokes like this often and I don't really gush all that often, but I feel like it's time to change my pants.

Seriously this just shot right to the top of my too watch list for movies coming out this year. The artstyle, the character design, the music, the cinematography....WOW!

A friend of mine told me about this a while ago and was wondering what happened to the project. It's good to see it's still alive and kicking.

i dont know about that what i learn is that Anime studios are still using Traditional Animation process that means their is still division of labor

or maybe you mean Key Animations (or Sakuga scenes) are mostly done by one man?

A full episode can be done by one single person
from art to animation , it's rare since it's a massive work.
But most of the time , the results are not so good in comparaison of the classic industry work , wich is obvious.

For sakuga scenes , yeah a single man do them , sometimes others help him to animate with drawing in-between , sometimes not

I explain bad in my english but if you are interested in this aera
check this
You'll discover , the Nakamura , mitsuo iso works etc
