History:
The girl was adopted at a very young age by a rich family, and thus has little knowledge of her real parents. She lived happily, but as often felt lonely as her parents were often very busy and having no siblings. She got along with friends at school, but had no direction in life.
One day, she found out that her real mother used to be in the TSAB. She went to research the matter and discovered that she died on duty. The girl also found out about her mother's husband, and likely her own real father, but found little more than a name, no matter how much she looked.
Faced with a new purpose, she decided to join the TSAB to see if she could get some more information from the inside. Once in, she displayed will power that surprised even her close friends and ranked high during her training. She joined a small aerial strike unit and got along well with the group.
Despite all of this, she got little closer to learning more about her parents. She asked around, but very few people remembered much about her mother, or anything at all about her father. It had seemed that her mother was a solitary person much unlike the daughter.
Her frustration increased until a particular incident occured with the strike unit. Afterwards the members began to leave and the unit was eventually disbanded. She started questioning why she was still a part of TSAB, but resolved to do her best when she coincidentally found a familiar name within the bureau.
About:
The girl is very friendly and gets along well with others. Though normally social, she has bouts of times where she'd rather be alone. One of her greatest strengths is in multi-tasking. She can split her attention between multiple things very efficeintly and this proved to be a big asset for her work in the TSAB.
She has a female bird-type familiar, though she keeps quiet about the particulars of its origin, as does the familiar itself. The familiar is child-like in her human form appearence and appears as a small blue bird otherwise. In contrast with its master, it's rather shy and doesn't talk much. When it does talk, however, a beautiful voice could be heard. Apperently, it is very good at singing, but only its master has ever heard it sing.
For a device, she uses an original device called the Lunar System, which she simply calls "Luna" for short. Typical of system device, it was very expensive to make and difficult to maintain. However, she has learned how to maintain it and does it well. The device itself is a system of three devices, two armed and one storage, with a single AI among all three.
The first of the three is a ball-shaped armed device. It itself can be hit onto target in order to inflict damage, it can also be used to cast spells remotely from the user. The second is a baton-shaped armed device which main purpose is a close-range self-defense weapon. It is also used to hit the ball for added power and/or speed. The final is a ring-shaped storage device which its owner wears on her wrist. This is usually used for her primary spell-casting, including a spell which allows it to "leash" onto the ball, to control its movement more directly. It also has some remote casting capabilities, although more limited than the ball. Normally, each device in the system has its own name, but since the girl only refers to them all collectively as Luna, or occasionary, Lunar System, it is unknown if any of the individual devices has names.
In combat, the girl, along with her familiar and system device attacks in coordination. The girl herself, her familiar, and the ball part of Luna are rarely in a single place, often apart in the battlefield. However, they attack together. Specializing in light beam attacks, she sends out beams often from nearly every direction. This can often confuse the opponent, often making cause for their defeat. In a team situation, she is even more powerful, able to attack many different targets at once from unexpected directions. She also uses the ball itself as a weapon often, either hitting it into her target with the baton, or swinging it into the target with the leash. Combining this with remote casting, it creates situations that many mages are unprepared for. Also, she sometimes casts a spell together with her familiar to do a stronger attack when needed.
Her fighting style is rather unique within the TSAB and highlights the unique strengths of system devices. The fighting style itself has been called "Family" by her colleagues, although who's which member of the "family" is disputed.
Strange, it's not letting me capitalize the 'a' in "about".
Wow lots of room for development here, especially on the question of her origins. Possibly a different interpretation of Arika from Mai Otome, but one that not so mind-numbingly moe, so it might just be an artefact of my imagination. System devices... Good term there! And the way she fights it does bring out the Dragoon/funnel attacks of ***dam fame. At the moment we've no idea when does she appear in the main Nanohaverse. Care to list a time? All in all, an interesting character indeed, with a nice and dark but powerful story in the making.

I'm not exactly sure what that meant, but I do hope things here aren't going out of hand.

I actually haven't seen Mai Hime or Mai Otome, though I've been thinking of doing so for a while. In any case, I don't know who Arika is, so…

I actually didn't really plan it out that way at first, but it ended up like that. Oh well.

Hrmm… thinking perhaps 7-8 years after A's.

Thanks alot.

Think he might be talking about the panther, whose fur could probably look like a dark blue depending on the light. I didn't base the colours on that though.
While I love reading backgrounds and character specifics, I suppose what irks me the most about them is that I can never remember which page such-and-such character's most-recent updated background is on, and I can barely keep track of who owns which character.
Anyone have an easier way? Apart from copy-and-paste into a text file (and losing all formatting like bold and such)?
well, I don't really bother posting them in disorganized pages, as long as I can remember their setting. Though I do realize browsing through the thread just to look for certain characters can be troublesome.

@Meophist: Oh you never watched it. It was my imagination then. No worries.
As promised, these are Kha's henshin data:
Spoiler for 8 year old henshin:
1 name: Erio Mondial. When Shari wanted to upgrade Strada, she had trouble thinking of a male design, and Kha offered up his old barrier jacket, the one he used before he built the RX-67 Casshern Barrier Jacket. It was coincidentally rather similar to Fate's older BJ (No kidding!), right down the double buttons. Shari then trimmed the blue jeans into red shorts, added a few more Impulse-Form-inspired touches, and viola!
Spoiler for 14-19 years henshin:
Full Release –
"Oh Elemental Light, the Truth, the Justice, the Good, I hand this body up to you." He chanted in German, eyes closed in prayer, as the glow of his Reactive Linker Core at his chest grew greater and greater. "I beseech you, protect my allies with all our power."
"Oh Gift of the Naaru..." Kha snapped his eyes open with conviction. "Shine! Tausend Kreuz Sakurazaki!"
[Matrix, Activation]
And so Sakurazaki took over. The sealed Kreuz floated up, glinted as it spoke and then exploded into a blinding flash. Everything from the neck down of Kha, arms flung out horizontally in a crucifixial position, right down to his skin, eyes closed, was peeled off by the blast and morphed into marine 1s and 0s, leaving a blue digital wireframe of his human form. His glasses dissolved as well. Several rings passed over him from the toes up, painting onto the mahou shounen multiple 'skins' in succession: first, a gray layer of shaded body textures; second, a biege layer etched with blue circuit designs that run down from his hair, by the sides of his face and chin and spread out throughout his muscular body like tatoos. The cybernetics rippled as mana coursed through it, accentuating his well-sculpted nakeness. (Plugs ears from bishounen-fanatics’ squeals)
[Loading Program: Knight Armor in Panzerform]
A carbon-infused rubberized leotard-like lining melded into place covering him from neck to thighs and upper arms in black material gleaming with blue mana circuits. Blu-rays flashed past, drawing a wireframe over his feet and shin. The data from the earlier de-transmutation returned in a cloud of 1s and 0s that coalesced upon that frame, solidifying the defence into reality as it clanged into place. The same buzzing and clanging was repeated everywhere: his thighs, his torso, his arms and hands. Kha flexed his fists like a super robot once that was done.
Another array of lasers and numbers drew and docked a pair of tear-drop shaped ear guards for his head. Sounding like a sword being drawn, the Knight Armor's faceplate materialized from each side and rang metallically as they slammed together in the middle an instant after they appeared. The helm covered der Kleriker's lower face, leaving his windswept fringe and sharp eyes free. Kha's ponytail coiled and twisted on its own, guided by Sakura's settings, into a battle-friendly braid fastened at the end by a metal ring lined with a strip of blue.
With that completed, the trench coat bearing the hallmarks of Hayate's designs drifted into view and slid smoothly onto the mage. Kha shrugged it a little, then coolly gave the collar a tug into place.
[Assemble Weapon]
Sakurazaki's orb core set in a rhombic case crackled blue lightning as it drew parts of her complete self together. The trigular halves of the her spearhead, attracted by the lightning, clanged audibly onto her face, followed closely by the covers for her horizontal vents. Her cylindrical neck extended out from the spearhead, and the 16-cartridge Metal Storm barrel block slotted into the gap on the neck below spearhead as the pistol grip, positioned at right angles to the plane of the spearhead, glided along the groove and locked into place just under the vent covers with a puff of sparks. The tail end of Sakurazaki clunked into a smaller triangular joint that hid another smaller beam emitter within its pinched halves.
[Powering up...]
His coat flaring open in the outward gusts, color starting from his core radiated throughout both of Kha's Knight Armor layers. Kha opened his eyes and grabbed his Kreuz with his right hand, armor whirring mechanically with each action. He posed for a while, when you could almost imagine his background forming something like an eyecatch. He then flicked Sakurazaki outward horizontally, deployed the beam covers and released magic blades from the tail, head and flanks, forming a massive cross-spear. The Cleric then swung Sakura behind him as vernier-like openings in his boots and shoulders kicked into blue fire; Kha surged ahead.
Kha: Kha Alexei, Sakurazaki, hashinzuru!
Fast release - Spoken as "Glühen, Tausend Kreuz" (Shine, Thousand Cross).
Upon activation, Kreuz gleams at an edge and a pair of marine magic circles bearing the Velka magical cross sigil appears above and under Kha, turning as they pinch together releasing clouds of mana that shroud and collase onto him completely. When they meet at the centre, they dissipates and Kha would be geared with the Knight Armor and holding the Kreuz in Kreuzfahrer mode. Nothing questionable is seen. (Puts on O2 mask to avoid drowning by shoujo-fanatics’ tears)
Btw, that is the G-Gundam type henshin.
There are differences in both releases. The shorter release initiates the Knight Armor before it is fully charged, then slowly charges it to maximum for a while afterwards but it takes twice the amount of time of full release to achieve full power. The full release however has a longer henshin phase, but completes the henshin at full power. So Kha would use the full release as often as possible, but if there isn't time he'll resort to the fast release to get into the fray ASAP.
And for more fun, here's Jaegerform!
Recap: Jaegerform - Kha's high speed, less defence form. He dispells the trenchcoat, summons Tallgeese-type rocket pods onto half-moon mounts on his shoulders, and mounted jets onto his thighs.
Spoiler for Jaegerform activation:
Kha: Armor Change. Jaegerform Activate! Sakura: [Change Armor System initialize. Jaegerform selected. Program Drive... Ignition!]
With a swing of Sakurazaki, Kha summoned his henshin bubble once again, this time with a torrential swirl of water, erupting from the disintegrating trenchcoat, that surrounded him completely. His Linker Core flashed brightly as it reacted to the immense magic being called in while 5 machine parts burst into the barrier; 2 of them flew in, crept up his leg armor and clamped onto his thighs. His bracer armor broke up and reassembled onto his shoulders, forming semi-lunar encasements of armor. The biggest component jettisoned equipment as it came in and clanged onto the dorsal face of the shoulder guards. The Sakura radical on his left breast flashed with blue power once docking was completed. The dumped pieces then reassembled onto his forearms with the whirl of screws before locking audibly into place, adding thruster vents there as well. A small trapeziod slammed into a newly opened space on his right shoulder, and a blue crystal slid out from inside of it into place, glinting wildly as it locked in. He twirled the spear front to behind, tossed it into a rotation overhead and caught it in front of himself in battle ready pose.
Sakura:[Jae-ger-form!!!] Kha: Whatever happened to [Jaegerform Standby Ready]?
EDIT: I thought about Kor Fuzion. If he does it with Fate, its Assymetrical Docking? But with a guy, that'll be Symmetrical Docking?! However, the thought just URKS me!
Location: In a place of extremes. From below freezing to above boiling.

The fact that she's "ordinary" is what makes her intersting. Imagine how much she can improve. There are lots of things she could do if she met the proper situations.

Heres Part 2 for those who remembered about my Belka-fanon history.
Velka: The Desert Empire
Chapter 2: ~ Civil War of the Desert Empire
Spoiler:
As Roland expanded his kingdom in the continents, Fiera likewise, found herself in a barren desert island, with oasis villages scattered around. It was a lifeless country with almost no foreign connections, separated from a large part of the world.
In a similar vein, Fiera applying her geographical knowledge and cultural understanding from both her world and her short year in the green continents, set up an oasis village, located nicely in the center of the entire island, and encourages trade, businesses to expand and grow.
In the coming years, her village expanded into a town, and slowly the people of the island rallied under her, as her city became the capital of her empire, under her ruling. A small desert empire The Belkan Empire, isolated from most parts of Mid-childa.
As the empress of her empire, Fiera then developed the Ancient Belka into a more traditional foundation, as opposed to the more weapons-based technological developmental style that Roland opted for. The emphasis of her Ancient Belka had strong emphasis on developments of guardian beast or program-based lifeforms, in that time, considered as genies. Along with developments of life-form magical entities, it also employed ceremonial magical forms of incantations, along with different techniques in executing its magical properties, be it through tomes, and armed devices that had different appliances of battle from staffs to rings, as in devices that had low reliance on magical boosting properties as seen in Rolands Ancient Belka system. Technically, Fieras Ancient Belka had stronger and a more flexible potential in magical appliances than Rolands, but at the same time, it wasnt as efficient and effective as Rolands.
It was Fieras Ancient Belka development that formed the bulk essence of the magical Ancient Belka properties that would in the future, created the basis behind the Tome of Night Sky, the program-based entities like Reinforce Zwei, along with non-combat and different magical appliances compared to regular Mage Knights like those used by Hayate, Shamal and in a way, Zafira. While technically similar to Mid-childas own familiar magical concept, it was also Fieras concepts that lead to creations of guardian beast like Zafira.
Fieras empire was small, but prosperous. In its own way, Fieras empire could be idealistically called a magical empire, of genies and mages with a semblance of mythical lore, as compared to Rolands more-down-to-earth medieval empire.
However, unlike Roland, Fiera waited, and did not possess any heir to her empire. She adopted 2 orphans, one boy and one girl, hoping that she would one day pass on her empire to the better one of the 2, when Roland arrives. The wait was in vain, and Fiera died of sickness when both her children were 20 years old, without naming a successor.
That was the end of the Belkan Empires golden era. And the coming of a divided empire, as a civil war between the prince and the princess then raged the empire.
The east was ruled by Prince Vauxhall, christened Emperor of Time, the adopted son of Fiera and the west by Princess Opel, christened Empress of Night. The empire was split into 2.
That was the beginning of the end.
The civil war raged on for decades and decades There were times when it seemed like it was going to be the battle to end the war, there were times of peace where it almost seemed like both sides were not at war for years but the reality was that both sides were almost equal in power and capability. The one truth of this war was that the empire was suffering from it.
30 years had passed since the beginning of the strife. The empire was but a mere shadow of its former self. The peaceful magical empire has lost its luster of beauty, and is now merely torn apart by war. Once populated greatly by scholars and practitioners of Ancient Belka, was now merely struggling to keep them alive, as tools of war.
Both of them, Vauxhall and Opel were getting older as the war continued on. Opel had a daughter, named Tiara, and christened Princess of the Night Sky. When Tiara was but merely 15, Opel passed away, with the simple wish that her daughter lives on happily. However, with the war going on, Tiara took on the crown of her mother, and decides to fight, carrying on the hope of ending the foolish war.
Tiara was a genius. Smart, charismatic and highly potent in magical potential, she took it to herself to import manpower and weapons from the other side of the sea, exploiting usage of Germanic-based Ancient Belka weaponry, which then already started employing cartridges in their earliest fronts, as the west controls the majority of the sea route and port ways compared to the west. She also personally formed Claudia, a specialized combat unit composed of a well-balanced formation of a guardian beast as the tanker guard, 2 frontal offense attackers, and one support mage as she herself too, partakes in the war as the defensive castella, attacking from a huge distance away.
The Claudia was formed of Signum, Vita, Zafira and Shamal, which would later be knowned as the Knights of the Sky, Wolkenritter. Signum and Vita were also the earliest knights that employed the cartridge-based Belka weaponry, making them more efficient in close combat. However, the Leavantinne wielded by Signum, was obtained, or rather passed on to her when she defeated the previous wielder of Leviathan.
The war was starting to change as the flow of future battles favoured the west, under Tiaras ruling. Vauxhaull was threatened, and started employing more drastic measures in battle, from unethical experiments to create greater mages, alchemy, and unnatural manipulation of human beings. Some bore certain degrees of success, but it didnt work to restore the power balance.
The times forced worse measures, as anyone with even a remote magical aptitude was forced to become a soldier. When a young, aspiring writer/scholar living at the remote borders of the east, Saga was ordered to honour his emperor, and take up the spear of Belka as a warrior of his kingdom everything changed.
Little did he know his destiny as a mage and his meeting with Tiara would change everything, and destroy all he held dear.
All he wanted was to be free of the shackles and burdens of war, to pursue his dreams. All he wanted was to write a book that captured his visions and ideal The Tome of 1001 Nights.
TO BE CONTINUED
Part 3: The Destroyed Empire
---COMING SOON----
Well, most likely I'll also post profiles for Saga and also Vauxhall's version of the Wolkenritter, Zerstortritter. Depends.

damn it, the image of Lutecia immediately pops inside my mind
Okay, I've decided to use my Blog to post some of the OCs. I already posted Anna's & Alex's profiles, but haven't done anything on Hikki ATM. FYI, you can also access the site from my Animesuki profile page.
I'm behind. I'm SO behind! Argh!
Anyway, @LoweGear: So you've pretty much almost completed most of Kay's profile, eh? It's impressive that you've made you're characters so alive. I'll be looking forward to more info on Asuka and Shinji. And by the way, Rey's gamer mode reminds me of Nagato Yuki.
@Kha: Nice henshin sequences there. You sure put a lot of effort into providing the details, eh? By the way Kha(the character), how's Fate doing? She seemed to be a bit abused yesterday. Hope you can update the story soon.
@dkellis Whoa! Now that's what I call a group that was just made for each other. I really like the interactions there. It reminds me of the SOS Dan. Really excellent work! I'd sure like to see you're characters in a group centered show.
@Meophist: Very nice first entry there. I must say that I find the separate attack units of 'Libra' is very intriguing. Hope you put more info about her soon.
@Nightengale: Your story is really starting to get epic! Good job! The way you put the Belkan civilization's development is really intriguing. I'll be looking forward to more on Tiara and Saga's connection with the Tome of the Night Sky. Keep up the good work!
@USB500: Seems like you've already put up quite a lot of data in your blog by now. I'm liking what I see. I'll be also looking forward to more data on you're other characters. Good job!
Phew. And now, I think I'll re-post my character's customized profile data. I've added an extra spell and some changes on the Random Info Section. Here...
Spoiler for LENGTH!:
Name: Aurion Dauer Nickname: A-kun Gender: Male Age: 34 (as of StrikerS) Birthday: 29th March in the Earth Calendar Occupation/s: TSAB Enforcer (16 years ago), TSAB Technology Division researcher (current) Rankings: Registered mage ranking: AAA (before he quit being an Enforcer) Height: 204cm Weight: 174 lbs. Eyes: Black Hair: Dark blue, flaring slightly at front Magic Style: Mid-Childa (primary), Neo-Velka (secondary) Magic Color: Cobalt blue with scattered black lines Usual wear: A lab coat over a black shirt and blue pants Specialization: Tactical warfare Devices: Expanded-function Device Reishiki (his prosthetic left arm)
Synchronization Device Almaria (taking the form of a bulky sliding cell phone)
And any number of extra non-AI devices he may bring
Profile: A very casual person with a rather twisted sense of humor. He was recruited into TSAB at the age of 11. He worked as an Enforcer and part-time device mechanic for six years. He served as a top class Enforcer until a successful but catastrophic mission concerning Lost Logia where he lost his left arm when one of them blew up. He took one year off duty after receiving a prosthetic arm. Incidentally, he took his vacation in Earth, resulting in his familiarity with Earth-related matters. (He drops in from time to time) He was invited to once again join the ranks of TSAB enforcers but he instead opted to enter a school in Mid-Childa studying the more advanced world's equivalent of psychology. For unknown reasons, he decided to enter the technology department of TSAB after three years in school. Throughout these events, he maintained a resigned but positive outlook in life.
In his early years in the Tech Department, he mainly focused on research of expanding upon the functionalities of Storage Devices without heavy reliance on AI. To the shock of many, he tried incorporating a large range of functions into his prosthetic arm, later resulting in his primary device for years to come. He named his arm Reishiki (Type Zero). After revamping his fighting style as a mage to match his device (in his personal training room in the facility), he decided to play the part of a researcher and bodyguard of technology personnel. During the incidents with The Garden of Time and The Book of Darkness, he was away on a research trip on another sector of the galaxy. Upon learning the news, he decided to keep an eye on the exceptionally talented young female mages, namely the Aces. He took particular interest in Yagami Hayate, who was able to gain ownership of the legendary Book of Darkness. He did have his reservations in letting long-time fugitives, namely the Wolkenritter, into active service in the TSAB.
After two more years, he decided to have a 'extremely' close look on what kind of person Hayate was. He got his chance during one of his trips to Earth (Around the time before Rein was born), which incidentally, where the Aces were currently at. He devised a way to isolate Hayate from the others and have a long discussion with her. Predictably, Hayate was extremely alarmed and attempted to engage in combat. But he was able to set up a trap and managed to calm her down before she was able to free herself. Setting up several magical isolation fields, he held the 11-year old girl in an 'interview'. After learning the details firsthand, he decided that the 'Miracle Girl' was indeed a blessing to TSAB. Right then and there, he decided that it would be extremely interesting if he could observe the progress of such young people in TSAB. He decided to tell his life story in brief to the young girl and his objective in talking with her. With that being said, he helped Hayate get over her insecurities with the spiteful regards to her by some people because of her involvement with the Book of Darkness; not to mention missing Reinforce immensely. Subsequent to some professional counseling (He did study Intergalactic Psychology after all) he decided to take his leave. After apologizing and thanking Hayate, he parted with the young girl with an affectionate pat on the head while teleporting away, claiming that they'll never meet again. Hayate was later found crying by her worried companions. When asked, she simply said that she met an extremely weird but nice person.
By some extremely ironic twist of fate, Aurion would meet the Aces, including Hayate exactly two days later when they were commissioned to help with the research of Neo-Velkan magic in the very same facility he was working on. He took the unexpectedly early reunion in stride and cheerfully welcomed the newcomers. As he expected, Hayate's reaction to seeing him again was nothing short of hilarious; which later resulted in a long explanation after being threatened to be killed on the spot by her Knights. After things calmed down a bit and a proper introduction to Nanoha and Fate, they were finally able to go ahead with the research. The other two Aces became comfortable around the weird man soon enough. Amusingly, Hayate harbored a childish resentment towards him that lasted for most of their one-week visit (He was forgiven later on at least). In the process of research, he decided to take a more active part in Neo-Velka magic (which would be later incorporated into his personal style later). He sorely regretted allowing the visitors carry out the field testing in his personal training room (Which was partially demolished due to the insane amount of power of the guest mages). In the end of their short visit, Hayate got her revenge by commissioning Nanoha (who was willing) and Fate (who was reluctant) to call him Oji-chan (an affectionate way of saying uncle) when they were saying goodbye. Aurion, who was by then taking a drink, promptly spat out his drink and coughed for a good minute at the sudden act of familiarity, much to the delight of the Aces (maybe except Fate who was worrying if they went overboard). Aurion thought wryly to himself that maybe he has met his match in wicked humor while watching the Aces and the Knights leave.
He would later create his second device, Synchronization Device Almaria a year after the birth of Reinforce Zwei. Now, he still retains a similar but higher ranked position in the TSAB tech department. Despite being invited to join Riot Force 6 by Hayate, he declined the offer and instead opted to provide her with new equipment and intelligence reports for the operations of her new squad. Only time will tell if any changes in his current course in his life will take place...
Personality: Aurion, as already mentioned in the profile, is very casual and has a rather twisted sense of humor. He generally gets along well with anyone, being tactful even in those situations where he plays his little ‘Mind Games’ with his friends/coworkers. (Actually, he’s just embarrassing them with a clever use of words) He is a talented voice actor and has managed to fool several people already about who’s actually talking at times. Usually, he addresses anyone in their surnames (if available) without honorifics, though he uses military titles when talking with high-ranking officers. He always treats those younger than him like children (much to the annoyance of some), usually patting them on the head or using anything in kind. He did encounter a bout of depression in his youth at the loss of his left arm; which prompted him to study Intergalactic Psychology. Despite that, he is at heart, an innovative mage. He takes special interests in unusual devices (The devices of the protagonists actually giving him a long month of ‘enjoyable’ data analysis). His focus of interest in matters tends to alternate from ‘convenient’ to ‘interesting’ and sometimes, ‘exciting.’ The latter making his colleagues nervous. He has a trademark prank to those who doesn’t know him much, which is pulling off his prosthetic left arm (which is usually under transformation magic to look like a normal arm). This more often than not scares the hell out of anyone of his victims. One of his favorite scenarios arising from this prank was when he performed this in front of the Aces, in where Nanoha screamed, Fate ‘almost’ fainted, and Hayate (while visibly shaking) called him an alien from one of those tokusatsu (think Kamen Rider and Ultraman) shows in Japan while backing away quickly.
Relationships: His relationship with the Aces (around eight to six years before StrikerS) is like a playful uncle to his nieces (which he decided was the right description after they called him Oji-chan). He treats Nanoha like an enthusiastic little student when showing her around his facilities during the Aces visiting time, explaining several matters to her along the way. He holds a rather amused exasperation with Fate, whom he claims to ‘blush about almost everything outside of battles,’ which makes him avoid teasing her too much in fear that she might faint because of embarrassment. He’s particularly fond of Hayate, whom he likes to tease a lot. The young Kansai-ben girl, not to be outdone, plays the part of the ‘spoiled niece to her uncle’ in retaliation. As such, her Knights are not at all comfortable around him. Signum refers to him as a ‘devious and secretive person’ while Vita gets outright irritated by his attitude. Shamal and Zafira, despite being a little wary around him, doesn’t seem to mind as much as the other two Knights. He’s not interested in looking for a lifelong partner as of now, claiming that he still has a decade before getting worried and also saying that his much younger acquaintances qualifies as impromptu children already.
Barrier Jacket: Aurion never bothered to make major alterations to his barrier jacket since his days as an Enforcer. Its appearance is just like the standard issue TSAB Enforcer barrier jacket design with a darker coloration with a matching cape that pretty much covers his entire body. He also sports a lightly decorated blue gauntlet at his right arm and matching combat boots at his feet.
DEVICES: Primary: Expanded-function Device Reishiki (Type Zero)
His prosthetic arm also doubles as his multi-purpose device. Unlike other devices, Reishiki doesn’t come with a portable form (“Why the hell would I need a portable arm?!”). Instead, he opted to jam-pack the artificial appendage with several systems and functions that would do well to raise its processing speed and give it the functionality that far surpasses conventional devices (including several functions that were not characteristic of devices). It does have a simple toggled transformation spell to make it look like a normal arm, though. In its device form, it looks like a bulky techno-gauntlet around his left arm, sporting a few buttons, a slot for something at below elbow level, and exterior circuits. Two large cylinders are situated at the two sides of his forearms, which serve as spell amplifiers, magic particle accumulators and at times, non-magic based energy blades. A streamlined barrel runs from a little below his elbow (also below the slot) to his knuckles. This serves as a high-velocity magic rail gun which shoots firing spells at exponentially higher velocities (and subsequently, higher piercing power) and also non-magic based projectiles in occasions. Reishiki only has limited AI and has a mechanical male voice. He is activated without the need of voice command due to being directly connected to Aurion. He says, “Standing by” while being revealed and says, “Ready” right after the formation of Aurion’s Barrier Jacket. The right arm gauntlet and combat boots are expansions of Reishiki’s components. These also serve as expendable but easily replaceable instant spell charges. (By releasing the magical bonds and converting the latent energy into a spell that takes less than a second to cast) Aurion claims that each discharge has a level of energy approximately equivalent to two magic cartridges.
Secondary: Synchronization Device Almaria
A few months after his first official meeting with the Aces, Reinforce Zwei is born. After being notified by an excited Hayate, he was one of the first few to witness a Unison Device used by a member of TSAB. Needless to say, the results were fascinating. He remembered coming across the documented instances of such a device was used in the TSAB Archives. Despite noting the dangers of reversal of control between the user and device in the past, but now, seeing what was happening before his eyes, he decided it was another miracle to be documented in his journal. After doing a run down on the several functions of a Unison device, he suddenly got a brainwave on the project he was currently working on, which was the improvement on the functions of Reishiki. After giving a quick apology and greeting to Hayate and 'Small Boss', he hurried back to the facility and started to work in his idea. He did make a point to apologize to the two and made a proper introduction with Rein, who was, incidentally, uncomfortable around him as well, hiding behind her mistress’ head ("He's weird, Meister!"). Going back to business, he worked on a way on how to integrate a utility that could significantly boost the more technical aspects of Reishiki's functionality without the danger of overworking the already strained circuits of his custom device. After almost a year of work, he was finally able to create his Synchronization Device; which he named Almaria. 'Her' appearance is that of a rather sizable sliding cell phone with a TSAB emblem in place of the usual monitor (a holographic monitor is utilized in place of a small screen). Her voice is that of young girl in monotone. Like Reishiki, she is another device which has a permanent form, staying in the form of a sliding cell phone. Unlike her predecessor, she has a considerably advanced AI and is able to hold intelligent conversation with others. Another oddity about her is that she is able to speak Japanese when not in combat use unlike other one-dialect devices. This was a feature added by Aurion for better conversation with the device. However, in battle, she switches back seamlessly into English, occasionally speaking German while Aurion is casting Velka spells. Almaria is attached to the hollow slot directly above the ‘rail gun’ of Reishiki. Upon attachment and locking in as a single part, Reishiki says, “Complete.” From that point, Alamaria’s more advanced AI takes over the main combat and support functions of the entire arm while Reishiki takes a back seat in managing the internal functions of the extremely complex combination of the devices. This is where Aurion gets the benefit of a significant power boost and better defense due to the more advanced AI being ready to activate much more effective defenses automatically; freeing Aurion from the hassle of handling basic defenses and allowing him to concentrate better on his improved range of offensive capabilities. Almaria can still be slid open for manual input of commands for more time-consuming spells, functioning like hotkeys for instant execution of commands. This is also when Aurion is capable of performing the risky tactic called ‘Synchronization.’
Miscellaneous Equipment: Customized/Unconventional Storage/Armed Devices
Aurion has an odd habit of bringing along 2 to 4 random Storage or Armed Devices which he customized himself. None of these devices have AI capabilities and are just generally a bit sturdier and stronger than standard issue devices in TSAB (Incidentally, he also makes more money from manufacturing customized and improved devices for the higher-ranking mages of TSAB). The extra devices he brings can range from swords to firearms. And he tends to use them as a way of surprising the enemy by whipping out a new weapon on the fly. On some occasions, he discards these devices as magical grenades after loading them with magical energy using his ‘Roulette’
Detachable Cartridge Loading Apparatus Roulette
This is one of his more unusual inventions. The Roulette (as he calls it) is a magic cartridge loading system which takes the form of a thick disc about eight inches in diameter. Unlike normal cartridge systems, this particular loader is detachable and can be used as an instant attachment to his devices. Devices in the forms of staves or anything else with long handles are generally compatible to its clamp-like attachment at its base. The main function this gadget is force-feeding twelve cartridges’ (arranged in a circular manner) worth of magical energy into a single device at two clicks (six cartridges at simultaneously loads per round). This more often than not leaves common devices set to explode due to the heavy concentration of magical energy. One particular tactic he uses is supercharging one of his random devices with the Roulette before throwing it as an extremely powerful magical energy bomb (After detaching the Roulette, of course). This loader is also compatible with Reishiki (by attaching it to Reishiki’s base) but as of now has not been used. Aurion suspects that though Reishiki would most definitely withstand the strain of loading twelve cartridges’ amount of magical energy, his prosthetic arm would most likely malfunction due to overheating soon after. It is speculated that attaching Almaria to Reishiki may be able to circumvent this problem to a limited extent.
Instant Spell Cards
Aurion also has access to a number of spell cards similar to those used by the Lieze twins. But unlike theirs, his cards function solely as expendable one-use only spell charges to be used when in need of a quick boost or springing a trap at the enemy. He mostly uses cards that are programmed with singular boost magic effects such as Magical Field Invalid and Acceleration Field in absence of a support mage.
Fighting Style: His style primarily involves in tactic-reliant use of his decent mastery of several Mid-Childan and Neo-Velkan spells; along with the several optional weapons at his disposal. The spells include Illusion, Binding, Field Control and Small Scale Bombardment Spells. In more simple terms, he prefers to defeat his opponents in a roundabout manner while spending as little stamina as possible. His tactics ranges from well-calculated maneuvers to small-scale psychological warfare to downright ridiculous ploys that messes up with the enemies’ head all the same. The first two are his preferred methods of in dealing with dangerous adversaries in real battles; propagating frustration and confusion in the enemy ranks and striking from a safe distance once the stage is set to go down. However, he almost always uses the latter tactic in practice matches, particularly against those with extremely high magic potentials such as the Aces. In truth, he was able to soundly defeat two of the Aces (who were then 12 years of age) one-on-one during mock battles because of his (as his colleagues put it) devious machinations. He disturbed Nanoha’s concentration after dodging (and stealing some of) her shots with an illusion of a giant ferret (She thought that Yuuno had become large) and Fate by quickly reacting at a stationary position and using the Acceleration Field against her speed and following through by making an illusion of Chrono confessing to her (She fainted on the spot before Aurion even decided on what to subdue her with). Hayate, after seeing the tactics used against her two best friends, was more ready compared to the first two. Actually entering Unison Mode before the battle even started. Aurion, alarmed at such a serious move right at the start, (Not to mention fearing for his training facility. In fact, he confused and subdued Nanoha and Fate when they were setting up for Excelion Buster and Jet Zamber respectively, in order to avoid damage to his training room more than anything else) was forced to use his less used tactics and heavier magic field manipulation. Ending the battle as quickly as he could by using a triple Struggle Bind on Hayate by discharging his gauntlet and boots as instant spells. (After a heavy dose of scolding about using Full Drive tactics in his training facility, he consoled the upset girls by stating that he was only able to win because of being able to prepare suitable tactics from earlier study of their combat data; laughingly declaring that he’s not accepting rematches in fear of getting shot by the girls’ patented Breaker moves because he’s pretty much out of tricks already. Signum and Zafira believes that he’s lying, but opted to remain quiet about it)
ABILITIES: Mid-Childa Spells:
As an elite Enforcer in his youth, Aurion has access to most of the spells that are known by field mages; along with some more complicated spells like Struggle Bind and Long-range Bind. It’s notable that his moveset bears resemblance to that of Chrono’s, given their similar roles in the past.
Neo-Velka Spells:
As his secondary/complementary magic style, his knowledge of Neo-Velka magic spells mostly comes from demonstrations of the Wolkenritter (and to a limited extent, Hayate). So far, he has only successfully replicated the more straight forward spells like Panzer Geist (which he uses as primary defense) and Explozion. He has also been able to replicate Zafira’s magic spikes rather well, his variation involving the discharge of one of his combat boots and stomping the ground in order to surround his immediate surrounding with the spikes in very little time. But for the most part, he only makes Velka variations of Mid-Childa spells for an additional boost in power at the expense of some range and control.
Magical Field Manipulation:
One of his favorite abilities, he uses a rather difficult magic technique (simplified and amplified by Reishiki’s two cylinders) in order to directly control the magic particles in the air for a good few meters around him, allowing him to used the recycled energies for spells that would normally come internally. To a limited extent, he is sometimes able to ‘steal’ low-power projectile spells from his opponents and use it against them (the first time he is shown to do this is when he stole some of Nanoha’s Axel Shooter units and used them against her). Attaching Almaria to Reishiki allows for a significant extensions to the power of his field of control (The maximum distance that he has been able to control as of now is twenty meters around him). During these instances, he is able to materialize and fire attacks and/or erect defenses (and traps/binds) from any given point in his field, allowing for omni-directional attacks and defense. However, this approach is best used at a stationary position in order for perfect control, so he is most comfortable in using this when there are people watching his back. This tactic also gives severe mental strain when used at full power at long intervals. To avoid this, he sometimes inputs manual commands on Almaria for automated attack patterns of the shots and defenses, sometimes making alterations on the fly. He offensive spells he usually uses while using this ability are multi-projectile attacks like Stinger Snipes and Stinger Blades. He has also shown to be capable of firing of several sustained buster shots around him.
Acceleration Field:
This is one of his support abilities that he usually uses in his ‘Mind Games’ with his opponents. It is a human-sized field that forcefully propels anything that enters it at the specified direction. He is first shown to use this during his mock battle with Fate, in where he situated an Acceleration Field directly behind him. When Fate attempted to attack him quickly from behind she was only able to hit air because she was involuntarily accelerated of course by the field she wasn’t able to notice because of moving too fast.
Synchronization:
This is Aurion’s most potent and most dangerous option in combat. This involves perfectly (and forcefully) synchronizing his thoughts and perceptions with Almaria, increasing his magical and physical capabilities to a frightening level; and also increasing his magical perception and and control to far surpass that of any device. In this mode, he is also given the option of moving at supersonic speeds (Sonic Move EX+) for a full thirty seconds without stopping, giving the effect of slowing time in his perspective and allowing him to execute an impressive number of actions at less than a few seconds. However, using this ability has a dangerous side-effect to Aurion (more so if Sonic Move EX+ is involved), namely overstraining his physical and mental faculties, as well as almost completely draining his Linker Core. The only time Aurion was able to use this was when he first tested this ability on a barren landscape away from any commercial or environmental establishments. To say the least, he collapsed from the exertion and was lucky enough to be discovered by TSAB members when they went to check on what was causing such a large-scale magical flux. He was in critical condition for several hours before he was somehow stabilized (Not to mention the damage that his devices received). He took a full month to recover from the trial run. After thinking back on the ordeal, he hoped that the first time he used such an action would also be his last (Though he is thinking about somehow incorporating the Roulette to hopefully walk around some of the flaws, as well as making several adjustments just in case). It is also amusing to note that despite his unexpected injury he was still able to play his pranks with his acquaintances; most particularly playing dead to his ‘nieces.’ (Into which they took seriously, much to his amusement and the Aces annoyance when they found out. Especially Hayate, who, having no parents, had somehow grown a sense of attachment to her ‘uncle’. She even went as far as tearfully whacking him at the head with the Harisen she was supposed to give as a gift. Followed by a long scolding session for making them worry) Aurion has yet to try his new toned down and altered version of Synchronization in the future.
RANDOM INFORMATION:
Relevant:
- Aurion also happens to be an acquaintance of Former Admiral Gil Graham, having been assigned to one of the units under his command in his early Enforcer days before rising the ranks.
- Reishiki never addresses Aurion directly. This is because of the limited configuration of his AI that leads to his disposition as a tool that only replies to commands. He replies to commands by saying, “Affirmative” before stating the attack name. Aurion can order Reishiki mentally to state the wrong attack name to confuse the opponent.
- Almaria addresses her owner as ‘Aurion-san’ outside combat. But during combat, Aurion’s title changes to ‘Chief.’ Though she generally speaks in an emotionless voice, Aurion has programmed her to crack deadpan comments that embarrass other people nonetheless. Aurion has even programmed her with a flexible voice range that allows her to speak like other females (or young males) convincingly when prompted.
- During Aurion’s brief visits in Earth, he takes ideas for his devices from the several things he sees there. Earth is where he got the idea of a cell phone form for Almaria. (Cell phones are not used in Mid-Childa, as stated by Chrono in the A’s Sound Stage 2)
- His trigger phrase for more difficult spells is, “Attack!”
- It was already stated that his depression upon the loss of his arm was the reason he studied the intergalactic equivalent of psychology. Because of this, he was able to psyche himself up better than having other people do it for him. He reentered the TSAB to pursue his other interest of research of several matters involving devices and the different styles of magic. His psychological education didn’t go to waist though, for he now uses his expertise in the matters of the mind to his advantage in several situations. He’s particularly good in making depressed people feel even just a bit better during his ‘Counselor Mode.’ He had subjected the Aces to this treatment, finding that Nanoha seems to be the most emotionally stable of the three.
- He was a stiff and serious Enforcer in his youth. A clear antithesis of his now annoyingly cheerful and laid-back behavior nowadays.
- He has a habit of buying books from Earth and reading them in the research facilities as a way of recreation.
- He frequently receives several invitations to take a more active part in the TSAB military due to his high expertise in tactical and team combat. He declines all of these invitations though, stating that he gets more than enough excitement from also performing the role of the bodyguard of the technology personnel.
- During mock battles, or even some real battles, he usually holds telepathic conversations with his opponent and tries to destroy their focus.
Fun Facts:
- He claims that he has zero talent at musical instruments.
- He has records of several shows from earth and he watches them by a projection from Reishiki.
- Arf is more vocal about her discomfort about him when compared to Zafira. Often growling while in her wolf form every time he talks with Fate in a familiar manner.
- He is also an acquaintance of Chrono, who has a habit of not listening to his jokes.
- He and Yuuno have met only a few times, when he takes a rare visit to the Infinity Library. He learned about Yuuno’s background when he was doing his ‘counseling’ with Nanoha where he asked her about her close friends. In these times, he is also one of the people always asking on how he’s getting along with Nanoha, getting the usual reply of, “We get along great! (As friends)” He gets exactly the same answer from Nanoha when asked the same question, making him marvel on how a mature girl such as Nanoha is clueless about the several innuendos about her and Yuuno given by several people.
- Prior to his mock battle against the Aces he began setting up Fate and Chrono (despite their sibling status) for the fun of it, much to the annoyance of the latter (and the extreme embarrassment of both, especially Fate). This is also where he got the idea of how to easily defeat Fate by using an illusion of Chrono confessing his love for her. After the battle with the Aces, an irate Chrono challenged him to a match, to which he flatly refused, stating that he doesn’t feel like being frozen solid (all the while smirking as he walked away.). He did apologize to the siblings later, in any case. But the prank he played had a rather lasting effect on their other friends, leading to the incessant teasing to the siblings.
- So far, only Hayate has been known to be able to get proper vengeance on his antics (Most notably calling him Oji-chan). Aurion attributes this to her ‘Take-Charge’ personality. Unfortunately (to several people), he actually takes her counters at him in stride and actually incorporating these to his future exploitations. This is one of the main reasons of why Hayate is his favorite out of his three ‘nieces.’ His favorite instance of one of Hayate’s (failed) revenge scenarios was when he was speaking with Chrono about technological advances with Storage Devices thru a communications screen. When the discussion went to the topic of the Aces, Hayate faked a small barrier break effect and gave a realistic distressed scream for Chrono to rescue her and the other two while in the background (Even going as far as appearing before the video receiver with magic binds around her arms and legs for credibility). Amusingly but unsurprisingly, Chrono did not buy the (surprisingly realistic) Damsel in Distress act and instead commanded Aurion to go ahead and have his way with the three, prompting an indignant reaction from the three Aces (Even Fate. Or maybe, especially Fate?). They actually shoved Aurion out of the way and berated Chrono on the other side of the communication line about being uncaring to them, which undoubtedly unsettled the soon to be Admiral. In any case, Aurion decided that seeing the exchange was worth almost breaking his neck when he was propelled out of the way of the communications screen.
- He gets along well with the parents of Nanoha and Fate. He and Nanoha’s parents seem to hit off really well, seeing as Nanoha’s parents have some peculiarities of their own. He also gets along well with Lindy Harlaown, actually accepting his Japanese green tea with sugar and cream from the Admiral in impressive aplomb. (Much to Hayate and Nanoha’s astonishment)
- The higher-ups in TSAB have several reservations about giving him promotions in the Tech Department due to his unorthodox and oftentimes reckless activities.
- Though the Wolkenritter are not in any way safe from his pranks, he takes special care in handling these instances in account for the two offense mages of the group, in case he might get the ‘Sword and Hammer’ treatment. He is able to exploit Signum’s relative unease with extremely informal situations and Vita’s natural irritability.
- To the wonder of many, he oftentimes holds discussions with other people’s devices with AI, even when in possession of their masters. What’s even more perplexing is the fact that devices are unusually responsive to him. Fate actually approached him one time and asked him how he got Bardiche Assault to actually speak with him using three sentences at one time. Despite this fact, he himself doesn’t know why.
- Rein has a penchant of indignantly scolding him whenever he teases Hayate. He treats Rein like a toddler and often asks her if she would like some toys or other stuff for extremely young kids. This usually gets the Unison Device to explode in irritation and actually start beating on his head at times.
- He likes pairing people whom he thinks are compatible with each other. Other times, he just pulls pairings out of nowhere for the sake of his, as Vita puts it, ‘sick humor.’ One of the more notable out of nowhere pairings was the Signum and Chrono pairing, taking into account their seriousness. However, this idea was short lived due to trying to avoid being frozen solid and smashed into pieces.
And for even MORE info...
Spoiler for MORE info and possible StrikerS spoilers:
Additional Random Info:
- So far, Aurion only addresses the Aces and the Wolkenritter by their first names, aside from his colleagues. Though at first, he addresses Hayate as ‘Yagami’, Nanoha as ‘Takamachi’, and Fate as ‘Testarossa’ (at Fate’s discretion, she allowed herself to be called this instead of Harlaown to avoid confusion with her mother and brother)
- He was an orphan and was raised in an orphanage before enlisting in TSAB. His parents were killed in an accident involving Lost Logia.
- He is extremely impressed by the design of Durandal. And on some occasions, called the extremely powerful Storage Device as the ‘Trump Card.’
- Aurion doesn’t like gambling. But he has been shown to possess a surprising amount of luck with these matters.
- During battles where he’s in a team, he prefers to provide support fire and tactical insights, letting his teammates get the kills.
- He’s not too particular about what he eats. But he does follow a proper diet and has an inclination for spicy food. He also apparently knows how to cook quite well, except that most of the recipes he follows are from Earth.
- Like Fate (and presumably, Nanoha), he still hasn’t met Carym of the Saint Church of Velka personally.
Pre-StrikerS Arc info:
- Despite his connections, the perpetrator of the attack behind Nanoha’s injury is also unknown to him. (I’m placing this data in this section because I’m uncertain at what exact time Nanoha almost died from an attack from unknown perpetrators)
- The final five years before StrikerS was a period of high levels of work for the tech department. For there were many new innovations were implemented into the military force of TSAB.
- As of now, he has already used his Synchronization (toned down and improved version) for about three times. In these instances, he only used this method in shorter intervals (around four to seven seconds with Sonic Move EX+). He also used the Roulette as a shock-absorber to cushion the sharp drain on his Linker Core. Though now relatively safe, he still feels high physical and mental stress after using this. As of now, he hasn’t notified anybody of this achievement.
- Thus far, he has been trying to develop expansion devices to be used in conjunction with several types of standard devices. This plan is relatively new and is still in its preliminary stages.
Anti-AMF (Anti-Magic Field) Tactics:
- As a former field mage, Aurion sometimes gets the tendency to join (and observe) other TSAB squadrons on field work at some times. It was also around four years before StrikerS that he and the squad he was accompanying came across the Gadget Drones with AMFs. Not being a stranger around AMFs, (AMF is already an available technology around those times, as shown in the A’s to StrikerS manga) he was able to formulate a number of ways to get around the formidable defense.
- Variable Magic Projectiles: Basically the same tactic Teana Lanster is shown using in Nanoha StrikerS. This involves coating the magic projectile to be used with an extra layer of protection that absorbs the AMF’s cancellation in place of the actual controlled magic bullet/s. As an AA-rank magic skill, this is relatively easy for him to execute. This tactic is best used at a suitable range away from the enemy with AMF, however.
- Reishiki’s Physical Weapons: Reishiki has the ability to manifest non-magic based energy blades about two meters of length from the two cylinders at Aurion’s forearms. There is also a small rail gun that can fire live rounds (at extremely high velocities) at his prosthetic arm/device. These two weapons are apparently powerful enough to slice/pierce through the physical defense of the AMFs quite easily. (He keeps this a secret due to the ban on physical weapons in TSAB-administered public areas)
- Rail Gun-amplified Magic Blast: The ‘rail gun’ on Reishiki is capable of propelling magic projectiles at extremely high velocities. With this tactic, Aurion’s projectile spells are given enough power to usually pierce through AMFs without reinforcement shells. Though extremely powerful, he has no control on the projectile.
- Compression of the Magical Field Manipulation Area: By compression of the field of effect of the normally twenty-meter range of the manipulated field to only around four meters, he is able to strengthen the hold on magic particles around him, resulting in partial nullification of the AMF because of the counteracting forces pushing and pulling at the magic particles. Due to this, he is able to still cast spells normally, even under the influence of AMF. It is still unconfirmed how effective this tactic is when used at varying levels of AMF influence, for Aurion finished the battle quickly instead of gathering data, due to the urgency of the situation.
- Discharging Spell Units at AMF Range: This is one of his newer tactics in the anti-AMF tactics development. His right arm gauntlet and combat boots (basically, his disposable spell charges) are technically classified as part of his barrier Jacket. With that being so, the extremely powerful sub-molecular bonds prevents the AMFs from dissolving the pseudo-armor. With that being said, he is able to freely discharge these units even within AMF influence, opening up for the possibility of execution of quick offensive spells to destroy the drones immediately. His favorite variation of this tactic is using one of his boots to instantly cast his version of Zafira’s energy spikes around him by stomping the ground at discharge. The high density of these spikes makes it all the more effective.
Planned interactions StrikerS:
- As of now, I’m not sure on how to put Aurion in the StrikerS arc of the story. Currently, I am thinking on having him going on research expeditions as an alibi of his current absence in the scenes. I’ll be waiting for more episodes to come out before I post something more concrete about his meetings with the new cast. In any case, here are the planned interactions with the four new protagonists and Friedrich:
- Subaru – I intend him to act as usual around Subaru, being amused by her energetic personality. I’m planning to have him give her a nickname of Genkikko (active girl), much to Subaru’s indignation. (She’ll insist to be called by her name) The planned first meeting is to be rather unfriendly because of Subaru trying to attack the strange person who seemed to have cornered Nanoha before their training. As far as the interactions would go, Subaru will be rather at home with Aurion due to his personality.
- Teana – I’m having a bit of trouble on how to handle our resident gunslinger girl because of her recent inferiority complex in StrikerS. As a psychologist, Aurion should know how to deal with her insecurities. In any case, I plan on having Aurion give her the nickname Tsunderekko because of her attitude. (Which would obviously annoy her) As such, I also intend him to encourage the girl to be more open and less formal around him and her friends. Even going so far as to give her a direct order to be informal around them for the day.
- Caro – As for her, I am planning on making her terrified of Aurion at first, prompting her to hide behind anybody (usually Erio) when talking with him. But it won’t last for long because of one of Aurion’s machinations made to make the two kids laugh. He will be very interested on Caro’s caliber as a Summoner, even cracking jokes of taking her for examinations like a mad scientist. (Which leads to an amusing confrontation with an overprotective Fate) The planned oddity here would be Friedrich (Caro’s dragon) being unusually comfortable around the man, often perching on his head much to the surprise of many.
- Erio – I plan on him to have high expectations on Erio. Prompting him to give the kid some ideas in training that does not suit well with Fate at all. As for Erio, I intend him to be at first defensive for Caro during the initial interactions of the new cast with Aurion. He is also to be quite embarrassed in one of my planned scenarios of Aurion doing his trademark arm-pull prank on the rookies, in which he would yelp and jump back, Caro would grab to his neck from behind out of fear, and Subaru and Teana (Yes, Teana!) involuntary grabbing him at one arm each.
- As for the earlier cast, I’m planning on him to have more or less the same relationships with them. Although he would be less childish with the Aces, stating that their big girls now and should make an old man like him (despite his relatively far from senior age) proud. I also intend the Wolkenritter (and Arf) to be less hostile towards him now, finally giving him the chance of proper converasation with them.
- If I find a chance, I’ll have him place around bribes in TSAB to allow him to ‘inspect’ the several divisions, most notably the Riot Force Six. He would be dropping in without prior notice and surprise Hayate along the way.
- He’s also worried about Nanoha’s health (foreshadowing, anyone?). Which he obviously knows the reason why. (To tell the truth, it slightly irks me that a character I made knows more than me)
- I also plan for him to participate in one of the training sessions of the rookies. But he’ll be doing more advising and giving ideas rather than the more hands-on approach.

- His first name is derived from the recent car model released by Toyota, the Toyota Aurion. While his last name is derived from the 1994 Dauer 962 LeMans, a custom car known to accelerate from 0 to 60 MPH at 2.6 seconds.
- Alamaria’s design is based on the phones used during Henshin sequences in Kamen Rider 555.
- I got the term Reishiki (Type Zero) from the mech called Grungust Reishiki in the Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation game for the GBA
- Reishiki’s lines of ‘Standing by’, ‘Ready’ and ‘Complete’ are also derived from the electronic voices of the Henshin belt and Phone from Kamen Rider 555.
- His trigger phrase of, “Attack!” was taken from Satoru Akashi (Boukenred), the leader of the Super Sentai group called GouGou Sentai Boukenger. He says this while snapping his fingers after giving an order.
- His title of ‘Chief’ during battles is also a reference to Boukenred of Boukenger.
- I was tempted to give him the habit of randomly flicking his wrist (like Takumi Inui, the main character of Kamen Rider 555) but decided against it.
- In my original design, he had a Lost Logia as a third armament. It takes the form of a convertible large bladed weapon with a long handle. This Lost Logia was planned to have a mind of its own address him as ‘Ningen’ (literally, human). This was to be a reference to Mikoto Nakadai aka AbareKiller and his Blastasaur, TopGaler in Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger.

Reason: Edited his involvement with the units under Graham's command due to timeline problems
Here’s Part 2 for those who remembered about my Belka-fanon history.
Velka: The Desert Empire
Chapter 2: ~ Civil War of the Desert Empire
[snip]
Part 3: The Destroyed Empire
---COMING SOON----
Well, most likely I'll also post profiles for Saga and also Vauxhall's version of the Wolkenritter, Zerstortritter. Depends.
Nice one! Unfortunately I'm kinda bad at big picture conflicts like this, so to me it's pretty awesome. But I must say both our takes on history proved to be quite different, for the societies at war was Velka versus Mid Childa in general. I'll just quickly summarize:
I also thought that the first NV devices developed were meant to be emissaries of peace and a demonstration of what both societies could do together, for at that time ethereal travel with portals were allowing travel between MC and the desert planet Velk, and scattered skirmishes were fast coming to a head. But power mongers sabotaged the transport, the Tausend Devices were lost in time, the Convention fell apart, and the once-glorious Velka, back broken by years of corruption and infighting, were utterly defeated and almost wiped off the starmap if the MC-based Saint Church consisting of high-ranking former Velka refugees hadn't stepped in and brokered a deal. That was 2 centuries ago, and much has changed since then, but those who remember the massacre will remember the bitter slight that MC dealt against Old Velka. Are these "old people" still around? That will depend on how AlternateS I turns out.
But never mind me. Now to tie yours together!

Okay, I've decided to use my Blog to post some of the OCs. I already posted Anna's & Alex's profiles, but haven't done anything on Hikki ATM. FYI, you can also access the site from my Animesuki profile page.
OK Will take a look in a while. Got 2 essays due this week, so it'll be a while before anyhting major pops up here.

Anyway,
@Kha: Nice henshin sequences there. You sure put a lot of effort into providing the details, eh? By the way Kha(the character), how's Fate doing? She seemed to be a bit abused yesterday. Hope you can update the story soon.
Thank you! I try to make things as visual as possible, for I write with the image running in my mind like an anime.
Kha: I suppose it was okay, Sempai. Fate bounced back fast. Hyperventilation, the light kind that a very small heal rights quickly. As for the party it turned out fine, but what really surprised me was how many people got to Chrono before I did and made it look like I wrecked him pretty bad. I suppose Vita and Sig-- *pause* Er... Shan't say who. But enough to say many of the Riot 6 have some bad blood with him, just as General Chaos said. Come to think of it, who IS Chaos? He's always wearing a funny mask.

Spoiler for LENGTH!:
Name: Aurion Dauer Nickname: A-kun Gender: Male Age: 34 (as of StrikerS) Birthday: 29th March in the Earth Calendar Occupation/s: TSAB Enforcer (16 years ago), TSAB Technology Division researcher (current) Rankings: Registered mage ranking: AAA (before he quit being an Enforcer) Height: 204cm Weight: 104 lbs. Eyes: Black Hair: Dark blue, flaring slightly at front Magic Style: Mid-Childa (primary), Neo-Velka (secondary) Magic Color: Cobalt blue with scattered black lines Usual wear: A lab coat over a black shirt and blue pants Specialization: Tactical warfare Devices: Expanded-function Device Reishiki (his prosthetic left arm)
Synchronization Device Almaria (taking the form of a bulky sliding cell phone)
And any number of extra non-AI devices he may bring
Profile: [snip]
This serves as a high-velocity magic rail gun which shoots firing spells at exponentially higher velocities (and subsequently, higher piercing power) and also a non-magic based projectiles in occasions.
Going back to business, he worked on a way on how to integrate a utility that could significantly boost the more technical aspects of Reishiki's functionality without the danger of overworking the already strained circuit of his custom device.
Unlike normal cartridge systems, this particular loader is detachable and can be used as an instant attachment to his to his devices.
Relevant:
- Aurion also happens to be an acquaintance of Former Admiral Gil Graham, having been assigned to one of the units (Specifically, Clyde Harlaown’s unit) under his command in his early Enforcer days before rising the ranks; which was before that fateful incident with the Book of Darkness in where Clyde Harlaown met his end. This is also one of the driving forces in his interest in Hayate after the Book of Darkness incident. This also caused him to have high expectations for Chrono Harlaown, Clyde’s son.
(As friends)” He gets exactly the same answer from Nanoha when asked the same question, making him marvel on how such a mature girl such as Nanoha is clueless about the several innuendos about her and Yuuno given by several people.
Not being a stranger around AMF’s, (AMF is already an available technology around those times, as shown in the A’s to StrikerS manga) he was able to formulate a number of ways to get around the formidable defense.
Although he would be less childish with the Aces, stating that their big girls now and should do an old man like him (despite his relatively far from senior age) proud.
References/Trivia:
That was long but it didn't hurt cos I'm immune to Bluecheesium! Your references are nicely spread out so it doesn't feel it its all leaning towards one direction. I like that bit on AAMF tactics, esp the technical aspects of it. Can see the thought put into that, and the way everything works at logical tech thread levels is really cool.
And now, for some notes on the phenomenon of the Reactive Linker Core trait exhibited by certain people, with some bits taken from a journal article done by Professor Kate Minovski, et al MC 0051, and some added from Kha's own observation.
---New intelligence data updated---
Spoiler for The Reactive Linker Core:
Prof Minovski writes:
...The Reactive Linker Core is a rare non-lethal condition when a Convocator (magicuser) is born with a Linker Core that's very disperse as opposed to normal ones which mana is concentrated into a dense core at the person's ethereal heart. Such Cores often give rise to weak mages, sometimes only slightly about the magic level of Neutrals (muggles, mundanes), but these people are known to be very sensitive to magical fluctuations around them, for any light reverberation causes a tremor within theirs and they can "feel" it. Some are even able to discern what those magics are about to become, track exactly where these agglutination of magic are and resolve what form these magic take without direct line of sight...
From Kha's personal file:
The Whispers have been with me for ever since I could remember. They used to be called the Will of the Light, my mother even thought they were Angels, but as I found out, these were nothing more than the collective knowledge of devices, both living and dying, elementals and deep natural magics around us. But to be able to understand them is a completely different matter. I do know of my weapon and the people who made it, but it were the Old Velka Linker mastery techniques that let me make total sense of what those magic mean and control my Core. I can tell what orders are being made to a Device, what is it going to do, and trace where its power core is for a surgical disarming strike. I can detect magic that has been heavily cloaked, and with Sakura's help turn that into coordinates for other Devices to target. I can speak with devices at the magical level, and information gets exchanged a lot faster than verbal transmission, but its a pain in the ass no matter how many times I've done it before, so I'll keep that as a battlefield tactic.
And if I find a working Lost Logia, I can learn its secrets and what other knowledge it holds within its crystal lattices. Most of it is meaningless, all of it is awesome, but some of it can be worlds-upsetting. The Tome of the Night Sky, unfortunately, has been completely wiped blank, its familiars and Unison device's memories cleaned out just as much. I wonder what Reinforce I knew of the worlds before...
I just fought Aranth the other day, and I discovered that Silhouettes and mirages are entities of evenly distributed magic while a person's mana tend to be concentrated in his ethereal heart. With that I'm sure I won't won't let the real Aranth get away this time. (Aranth, also known as the Phantom Lancer, appears as one of the villians in AlternateS)
Another thing about my Reactive core is that I've been able to move it around as though it were a real ball. I've recently built a system in Sakura to take advantage of this ability and be able to swap my Core into the device. As you all know the universe is made up of data, and intelligent data beings exist amongst the stars we inhabit. I've worked out the equivalent equations and sigils to transmute my physical body into data and since my Linker Core can be separated from my being, my conciousness is not destroyed in the transmutation process. What happens is Sakura is free to remodel my body into her wishes for a time-period before the risk of irreversibility runs too high.
In that same vein, I've discovered that when conditions are right this fusion can be done targeting other mages. All I need to do is to store my data in my Libram, and my Linker Core becomes free to fuse. So far I've experienced little problem combining with female mages (apart from my cute device screaming [SYMMETRICAL DOCKING] everytime that happens), but I suppose my inhibitions prevent me from synchronizing with male mages. While the general power of the resulting mage is roughly equal to my mage rank plus hers, and my skills are available to the mage i"m supporting, other recorded effects differ from mage to mage. But I can't go into specifics for even when I fuse with the same mageagain, a different effect applies some of the times. As usual, there's a time limit for this fusion before both entities become totally mixed together, and so I dare not use it too often, therefore comprehensive study of this fusion cannot be attempted.
However, because my linker is so dispersed I must not get caught in an AMF for theoretically a mage doesn't lose his/her Linker Core in an AMF due to its density. I remember as a child out in the deserts of Velk one such drone jumped me, and I remember suddenly collapsing from immense weakness. Tou had to get me out that time... I'm still fortifying my armor against such fielding, but no substance that is naturally AAMF exist. Fortunately, my Gotteliches Schield works on different energies as the AMF and so once converted to a next-to-skin protection field it is able to nullify the AMF's effect on my Core for up to 3 minutes before it wears out. Either way, inside an AMF I suppose I'd be as perspective as another Convocator.
Uh... What are you talking about? The reference flew right over my head.
i've seen a picture where a panther's fur is tinted blue at night with yellow eyes. Meophist's OC Libra reminded me of one
EDIT : updated my O.C's profile
Spoiler:
Apart from inhibiting his demonica powers, Lif’s personality also became slightly warped. He became unsociable to people he didn’t know and therefore have clashed with Fate and he Velka knights on more then one occasion over mission objectives and how it should be handled.
Lif [ironically meaning Life] has a tendency to mass murder all his enemies if not stopped. Not only that, Lif also has a tasted for raw meat.
However unsociable, Lif always show his caring side to Lithrasir, he’s familiar.
The massive amount of free time that he gets from the lack of mission’s [he is very violent] is spent on studying computer management, A.I processes and machine movement. Subsequently he has built his own battle android. TSAB high command has no qualms in sending Lif on high risk missions on his own because of his lack of sociability and the fact that he is the head of his own hand made team – there can be up to 4 beings in his party – Lif, Lithrasir, summon spirit and his android

After creating Hino Tori, I realized that I need a protagonist to fight her, since out of necessity Kria would be long retired from the TSAB before Hino shows up. So after muddling through a whole bunch of character ideas, I found one that would actually fit in TSAB and started fleshing him out.
But I hit a small snag as I started daydreaming, as I usually do, about what would happen when Hino met him, and about how much of an opposite he would be to her, as well as how much of a blood bath would result.
Anyways, I finally finished him for the most part and here he is:
Spoiler for Dione West:
Name: Dione West (Pronounced "Dee-oh-nay") Gender: Male Age: 31 Device: Storage Device, unnamed Magic Rank: B- Magic Type: Midchilda Magic Color: White Affiliation: TSAB Armed Forces Military Rank: Corporal
History
At the age of 8, Dione ran away from his parents, stowing away on a merchant ship that was visiting his homeworld. After leaving the system, Dione was caught but made a deal with the merchant to work for him instead of being sent back to his parents. 5 years later, a dimensional dislocation occured on Dione's homeworld. Apparently a Lost Logia had been found on the planet and some scientists had been examining it when something went wrong. The dislocation tore the planet in half and killed everyone on it, including Dione's parents, although by this time, Dione had concluded his deal with the merchant and now had his life in his own hands. At age 17, Dione saw an advertisement recruiting for the TSAB and decided to join, after a little bit of checking. After 14 years of service, a man like Dione who possesses higher than average magical power should be more than just a Corporal, but Dione has refused the 3 promotions offered to him, saying he prefers his current responsibilities. However, the planet that Dione was born on was not part of TSAB before it was destroyed, and Dione kept a low profile after he left, so there is no way to check or verify his background before he joined the TSAB. Which is just how Dione planned it.
Background
The being currently known as "Dione West" was born 1,219 years ago on a distant world far beyond the reach of humans. His species, who call themselves the Iradorans, are ageless and tend to live a few thousand years on average. They are a race of travelers and explorers, seeking to fill their inborne curiosity of the universe and the life forms that make up it. Thanks to their inborn shapeshifting skills, they are able to infiltrate other societies to learn more about them. Although immortal, the Iradorans' magical powers are not that much higher than the average human's, but their knowledge of magic is far beyond what most cultures have developed, typically giving them the edge in battle. But it would rarely come to battle, for the Iradorans are not warmakers. Although individuals of their race often fight to defend themselves and the society they are currently in, their race as a whole have never fought against another species. Every hundred years or so, the Iradorans return to their homeworld to tell of what they've seen and where they saw it, as well as to find mates and raise children. To the Iradorans, learning something with your own eyes is more important than being taught by someone else. Thus only the bare minimums are taught to their children so as to not ruin the joys of an unknown universe. Although this may seem rude to those who are not Iradoran, for the Iradorans it is the only way to keep their race curious and alive, and always learning new things. The exception to this is the history of the all the races that the Iradorans have encountered. Unlike other knowledge, history is not something that can be learned first-hand so easily and is also something that can easily be lost, thus a written record is kept of everything that the Iradorans have witnessed since they first discovered other sentient species. The TSAB and its member worlds are unaware of the existance of the Iradorans.
Appearance
Dione is 178 cm tall, weighs 70 kg, has short black hair, mild green eyes, and swarthy skin. While slightly buff, he doesn't have the appearance of those who build muscle for a living. When on duty, he is always has his barrier jacket on, which, like other members of the Armed Forces, is composed of a white top, white pants, and black boots, over which is a dark overcoat that splits in the front for free leg movement, and over that is a white breastplate, with matching white shoulderpads. The only things to set him apart from the other members is the white strap that goes from his waist across his chest and over his shoulder.
Personality
Having lived so long, Dione prefers to take his time with things, although his missions usually don't allow him to do that. Due to his extensive knowledge over many broad areas of magic, science, art, philosophy, and a host of other topics, Dione has picked up the nickname of "Encyclopedia Dee" among his friends and teammates. While the amount of knowledge he holds in his head is staggering, he keeps most of it to himself, not wanting to intimidate anyone. Still, picking his brain is a favorite past time of his friends, always checking to see how obscure and how up to date he is. While he is a serious person, he isn't dead serious, and doesn't mind a practical joke or two from his nakama every now and then, although he never pulls any himself. Dione is often seen as the peacekeeper, since he tries to stay out of brawls and distract anyone who might be working themselves or each other into one.
Combat
While Dione is a skilled team player, his personal skills are fairly exceptional, which is why he has been offered promotions so many times. Although he always follows orders, his inborn curiosity usually finds him snooping around, trying to find out more about his current missions. When caught doing so, he claims he is just trying to improve the mission's chance of success. Curiously enough, while not good at creating plans for missions on his own, when things go wrong he is very good at improvisation, and has several times pulled his nakama out of the fire when something unexpected happened. In terms of combat style, Dione prefers attacking from a distance and staying out of melee range, though he is excels at both. Although he is knowledgable of several different types of magic, he primarily uses Midchilda magic due to being in the TSAB. He is skilled with all types of magic, including binds, barriers, fields, movement, detection, healing, attack and defense magics. Although not combat related, he is also able, using the shapechanging magic native to his race, to change his appearance and DNA. This changing takes several minutes for minor changes, up to an hour for major changes. Dione is also capable of flight, but while his manueverability is high, his speed is below average. He can't chase flying enemies down so instead he gets his teammates who can to force the opponent a certain direction while he teleports ahead to help with the defeat of the enemy.
Device
Dione uses an unnamed Storage Device obtained after he joined the Armed Forces. The device is a 210 cm pike, the top 45 cm are the blade, and right beneath where the blade starts is 10 cm of cylindrical black crystal. The device has no AI and only one form; it has no device mode. When not actively fighting with it and on duty, Dione keeps his pike strapped to his back.
Magic
Although the amount of spells he knows is more than anyone in TSAB, Dione only uses a small fraction of them, the ones he has found to be the most efficient and versatile for him.
Attack Spells Power Cannon - Dione's main bombardment attack spell. Power Darts - Similar to Fate's Photon Lancer, Dione creates packets of energy that are then launched at the enemy. They have no guidance, and don't pack much of a punch, but this is made up for by their quick creation time and high speed. Power Shot - Not as powerful as the Power Cannon, this creates a single shot of magical energy that can be controlled unlike the Power Darts. Against weaker enemies, this spell can blast through them and continue on to other foes. Greater Slash - Boost spell. Temporarily increases the cutting/stabbing power of his pike.
Defensive Spells Temporal Force Field - The same spell used by Yuuno in the first series; it alters the flow of time in a local area to keep civilians from being dragged into battle. Temporal Cloak - Creates a field around Dione that puts him slightly out of phase with reality, essentially turning him invisible. No one can see him, but he can see others. As long as the cloak is active, he cannot move or use any spells other than normal flight, and cannot defend against attacks. Dione uses this spell to set up ambushes and catch enemies by surprise. Rock Shell - Dione's main barrier spell, protects in all directions. Its name comes from its hardness, not from what its made of. Rock Wall - Dione's main shield spell, gives heavier protection in one direction.
Capture Spells Gravity Bind - Dione's main bind spell. By amplifying gravity a certain points, Dione can prevent a target from moving. Zero Bind - The magical chains created by this spell cancel magic they come in contact with. A target surrounded by these chains cannot use magic. Against powerful spells and magic-users, the chains have a much lesser effect. Area Containment - Traps enemies inside a field unable to escape until they break the spell. Typically done with more powerful allied mages inside who can defeat the enemies. This is group magic and its power increases with more mages involved in the spell.
Movement Spells Dimensional Teleport - Used to transport between planets and spaceships. Dimensional Jump - Used to transport from one location to another on the same planet. Has a shorter casting time and takes less power than Dimensional Teleport.
Support Spells Healing Circle - Similar to what Yuuno used in the second series; it creates a field around a target that protects them slightly and speeds up the healing process. Area Search - The same spell used by Nanoha in the first series.
TSAB Mage Rank: B (Mixed) Magic Type: Midchildran/Summoning Magic Colour: Pale blue
History:
Katel was born with a birth defect to her linker core, allowing her to sense other people's emotions to an incredibly high degree. She is, however, unable to turn off this ability, causing her to usually isolate herself.
She was named after a flower of the same name due to the colour of her hair. She has taken a liking to the flower, and enjoys spending time with one that grows close to her house.
Due to her ability, she does not respond well to large groups of people, and often will break down crying when in presense of one. As such, she is unable to handle normal schooling and instead has gotten her education through a tutor. Even with a small group of people, she usually remains uncomfortable.
She lived mostly just around her immediate family, and thus hasn't developed her social skills too well. Even still, she talks often with her brother, wishing that she could have the school life that he describes. However, eventually her brother left to join the TSAB and she was left alone.
One day, she surprised her parents by announcing that she wants to join the TSAB as well. Not wanting to be entirely alone, she started to train herself by taking walks into the city. Although still causing her a great deal of discomfort, she was eventually able to walk even through a large crowd without breaking down. This is when she signed up for TSAB.
Katel was considered unusual within the TSAB, but was still able to get decent marks in her training. After her training was completed, she was assigned to a small search force for searching for Lost Logia.
Even among her search force, she was considered distant. She didn't interact much with the people around her unless she had to, and tend to spend alot of time alone. Even so, she was considered a great asset to the team.
Some time later, a mysterious man also joined the search force. He had little history that the TSAB can gather, but was found to be very capable and insisted that he be placed in that team. Katel found that she couldn't feel his emotions and soon responded very well with him. He turned out to be a very kind man and talked often with Katel and the rest of the squad, although very little about himself. Although the squad found him mysterious, they were glad that he was getting Katel to open up. However…
About:
Katel barrier jacket is composed of a light, blue dress with armguards on both arms. It has emphasis on mobility while giving her some defense where she needs it. She is a long-ranged support mage, using her bow-like storage device to give support fire.
In battle, her specialty is summoning Katel flower petals. Using them as cover, she senses her opponent's emotion to find out where they are, and shoots them with her bow. She has alot of difficulty shooting targets when she can see their face, so often does so blind. Even with this restriction, she is still highly accurate. To keep the petals from blinding her allies as well, she creates a magical link with them, allowing them to still see their targets as well as their allies through the petals.
Her defense itself is weak, and does poorly in close range. She goes around this limitation by being highly mobile, but mostly she relies on her teammates to prevent such a situation. She is still very capable in one-on-one combat situations.
Spells: Flower Burst — Katel summons a large number of Katel flower petals, making them explode in many directions. This creates large cover that is nearly basically impossibile to see through. However, its effectiveness goes down over time, making it so that she usually recasts this often.
Flower Shield — Katel creates a circular shield made of Katel flower petals. Upon impact, the shield slows the attack by a measurable amount, then explodes releasing the petals. Not a true shield in that it doesn't stop the attack, she uses this to assist with her evasion.
Storm Blade — Katel creates a number of arrows and shoots them shoots them in a single direction. One of Katel's few offensive spells, it is quick and covers a large area.
Storm Falcon — An imitation of Signum's attack of the same name, Katel concentrates alot of power into a single arrow and fires it off. This is Katel's strongest attack.
Spoiler for Brother:
Name: Maple Stense (メーポル・ステンセ) Age: 15 Hair Colour: Dark brown Eye Colour: Green
History:
Being Katel's brother, Maple learned to control his emotions well as to not upset her sister often. He became so good at this, he would sometimes play around with his own emotions just to see how his sister will react. Although her sister was at first annoyed at this, soon they began to turn it into a little game.
Although he forced himself to be happy while at home, Maple was often bullied at school. He would keep this secret from his sister, and would tell her stories about the parts about school he found enjoyable. Despite the bullying, Maple still had a positive outlook at school, knowing his sister who couldn't attend.
His experience with being bullied made him wanting to become stronger, so he joined the TSAB to accomplish that. Aiming for the top of the ground forces, he did well in his training and soon joined a ground-based strike force.
The news of his sister joining the TSAB surprised him, and she was already in training when he found out. Whenever he had spare time, he would go and talk to her, making sure she was alright. When she joined the search force, he also kepted in touch with her teammates.
Soon, he managed to become an independant enforcer and was well on his way of acheiving his goals. However, not too long afterwards the mysterious man joined her sister's group. Suspicious, he researched the man and soon found out his true identity. While Katel's group was returning from one of their missions, Maple confronted them.
About:
Maple is a kind and easy-going person. He has a weakness for his sister and can be over-protective, however, he rarely lets his emotions overtake him. He can be rather predictable, but to the TSAB this is considered an asset.
In battle, he wields an intelligent device that takes form of a wooden katana-like sword. He is fast, both in movement and in his attacks. Although he is capable of flying, he prefers to stay on the ground during combat.
For magic, Maple often summons vines in order to bind his opponent, or to use as a whip to effect his opponent's movement. When he gets an opening, he extends the blade of his device for greater impact.
Although lacking in ranged attacks, by manipulating his opponent's movements and taking advantage of his quick speed, he can quickly close the gap. His dodging skills are also well developed, and his defensive magic is also powerful. His biggest weakness is in his rather weak offensive capabilities, but he can often outlast his opponent to make up for this.
Spells: Viny Bind — Creates a summoning circle close to the target, from which vines come out to bind the target, immobilizing it.
Power Vine - Summons a large vine which Maple uses as a whip. Wraps around targets easily, allowing the user to effect its movement.
Wood Shield — Shield spell that creates a shield made of very tough wood.
I originally created these two for something else entirely, but thought I could adapt them into here as well. Tell me if any of these characters sounds wierd, because that's a likely result of the conversion.
Maybe I should've left out the mysterious man though… well, I'll be explaining him later.
Edit: Why don't aren't the "About"'s a's capitalized?
Edit 2: M -> Maple

Reason: Another minor sword fix.
Okay, Time to churn out another profile to be evaluated.
But please do mind me a bit- this is a rapid write up... and it's based on one of our Aces.
My very first villain profile:
Spoiler for The Inverse Ace of Aces / Black Mirror / 'Evil Dimensional Twin':
Name: Nonaha Age: 15 Gender: Female Birthday: Unknown, but most likely the same as Nanoha's Hair: Same as Nanoha Eyes: Same as Nanoha Build: Same Height: Same Weight: Same Homeworld: Earth, unknown dimension. Magic System: Mid-Type Magic Color: Black Mage Rank: S (and at the time when Nanoha and the other were still ranked AAA+ and had not taken evaluation) Personality: The inverse of Nanoha's cheerful personality, often fatalistic, nihilistic and lacking mercy (esp one scene where Nanoha said she 'screwed up')- though Nanoha's courage and occasional recklessness is still there. And when not in battle, she is practically Nanoha. Affiliation: Head of a group known as the Dei`Ministra- group of wayward Dei-type warriors. Device: Freezing Heart - Raising/Raging Heart's inverse. Device Type: Intelligent device, ranged assault and bombardment. Description: Raising/Raging Heart in Silver and Blue.. Barrier Jacket: Same as Nanoha's- but instead of the white major areas, it is black. Device History: Unknown. But since it is a mirror of RH, the forms RH does is also being done on FH, with some changes in naming convention.
Modes:
Insel Mode: Accel mode equivalent for FH.
- Decelerate (De-cel) Shooter: Black Accel Shooter equivalent for Nonaha, though they can be more than the usual number of accel shots Nanoha can create each time- with the proper cartridge boosting, Nonaha can summon up to a hundred magic misssles, as compared to Nanoha's dozen or less.
Buster Mode: This form does not need any explanation.
-Divine Buster: A black colored version of Nanoha's trademark shot.
-De-cel Buster: A pulse version of the Divine Buster, with the movement capability of de-cel shooter as well.
-Lance Buster: an attack unique to FH, instead of firing a thick beam, the device shoots out a thin but sharp beam that enables Nonaha to slice and shoot at the same time.
Inverse Excelion: No need to explain as well.
-Singularity Breaker: the inverse of Starlight Breaker, but with almost the same process- gathering residual energy from attack leftovers- but in this case, also the 'negative energy' of the area- the more war torn the area, the greater- especially if previous wars were also fought in the area. this skill also has a phenomenal gathering rate, more than Nanoha can go during her SB charge- forcing our ace to go to her limit each time just to outpace the rival charging. In simple terms, when Nano and Nona go on a charge-off contest, Nona grabs more energy than Nano, thus weakening the SB, since it depends of the amount of energy it can accumulate.
-[Unknown Skill]: this skill is still in the works, due to the lack of info from the field.
History:
She was once another Nanoha of a different plane, living a normal life and childhood- until one day, things began to go bad for her. She did discover magic and had a fun time a first, then Fate came and all the things our Nanoha had done, they had also done as well. But just as Nanoha was about to save Fate from her quickly vanishing foothold, an evil bolt of energy struck Fate, killing her. That is where our Ace and her negative mirror began thier separate ways. during the years that followed, she witnessed many deaths- the names of those who died not to be revealed- all of them she was about to save but that evil bolt always struck them and killed them. Filled with despair and sadness, she unwearingly played into the hands of the dimensional criminal Fangwang, brainwashing her and turning her into the 'Evil Mirror'- and was set loose upon the dimension our Nanoha lives, along with three wayward Dei warriors who swore loyalty to him known as the Dei`Ministra, in order to bring out the Master Sealed Device, The Divine Staff of Beginnings and Ends, Gospel- in order to, according to her, 'restart her life once more, to correct the wrong'. Her warriors attacked the aces first, allowing them to discover one of the key sealed devices, the goddess' sword Espadona- in the hands of a certain archeologist. When the Aces began to fight back after a few encounters, she stepped in and shocked them all. afterwards, it beacame a protracted battle between possession of the remaining unactivated sealed devices- also adding to the conflict were Midchildan goddesses and Ancient V/Belka Saint programs (each with an arc of thier own in alternates I). But the aces began to win back and finally discover the truth as to where Gospel is, who owns it currently, and the true origins of Nanoha's magical bloodline. Nonaha was defeated in the final battle between Nanoha and her Gospel Assisted RH. As she fell, she resigned her feelings and her fate to the darkness of death, until Nanoha caught her.
"You have walked a different path... you are not me anymore... you are yourself... so you must live! not just for your sake, but for the people who still love you for who you are..."
Those words were enough for Nonaha to stop her plans for taking the device, also breaking her bond with Fangwang. But to achieve that, they needed to activate all the sealed devices- and they did- now separating one from the other- one still the Nanoha that we know, and the other, no longer Nanoha, but an entirely different person, Nonaha- but still the Nanoha of her plane. In the end, she acquired Gospel- which was ironic since she was trying to take it, but instead, Nanoha gave it to her- and decided that the first step in atonement is to destroy the abomination that created her dark personality- Fangwang. She then sets off on her journey to find and destroy him- she entered as a dark Mid-type mage intent on destruction, she left as a pink-circled Dei-type warrior on the quest to being justice to the cosmos...
And that is not the end of it... Years later, she returns to Nanoha's dimension after hearing that Fangwang was spotted there- setting the pace for a much greater battle up ahead- the battle for the entire cosmos- which she becomes Hayate's second in command in the Cross Squad of the MD6/1X command- but that will be another time.
@ Meophist, I like the sibling idea and I think you can build on that e.g. they are weaker then most of the O.C's here, why not give them a combination attack of sorts
@Striker X...genius ! Having a dark version of an existing character is such an obvious way to make a villain, can't believe I didn't think of that
I do have an idea of a Dark Nanoha as well... as well as her device, which I think fits a dark version of Nanoha well. It's still very incomplete, but here's some trivia on how her device works...I mean, interact.
Spoiler for Clover Heart Trivia:
~Clover Heart~ ( tentative name )
Device : Self-augmentation. I was made in reflection of My Mistress's hope, faith and love. APPARENTLY. Fuwa : And luck, too on your side. You're made in the image of a 4-leaf clover after all. Device: Correction. And my luck...RIGHTTT...as if. Fuwa : Did you say something, Clovie? Device : Question. Did I say that out loud? Oh, my agony! Wrap-up of truth. Not really.
Fuwa : Please... I don't want to kill you. Device : Translation : Don't worry. My Mistress will ensure that you live. I cannot give any assurances that you'll have any sanity or even a single remaining limb unless you choose to give in...hehehehehehe.
Fuwa : I'm telling the truth. Please trust me. Device : Correction. My Mistress's definition of truth holds as much ground as girls in erotic graphic novels screaming "NO! DON'T! ANYTHING BUT THAT!!" when in actuality they just mean "JAM IT-" *gets an evil smile from mistress*...I am so scared I cannot even finish my lame joke."
Fuwa : Please be my friend. Device : Definition. Prepare yourselves to BE BEFRIENDED. Definition of Prepare... Get ready to be killed. Don't worry, you won't die.
Fuwa : I love you...not that ecchi way though. Device : Definition. Love is to blast the loved one, be it singular or plural to the very edges of death without dying using Sunlight Extinction. 3. TIMES. OVER.
Fuwa : Ecchi. Device : Suggestion. YOU DO NOT WANT TO KNOW.

That's what I thought RH would be like when Shari accidentally left a little bug in her programming! Either that, or she got infected by a 4koma virus and meanwhile they have to contend with a rather... honest device while the antivirus is being prepared.
EDIT: Okay I didn't notice that Fuwa actually agrees with Clovie. Now that's scary... Rin-scary...

Haha, that gets to some people. If anyone looked carefully, they'll notice that Clovie's the one who's perfectly normal while Fuwa's the one with a slightly loose screw up there. Clovie's just doing what every nice guy would do and relay his mistress's actual meaning behind her cute moe voice that hides a pyscho-side.

I hate backlog, but being distracted by all these brand spanking new Starcraft II vids really ate up my time
Anyways, lots of new profiles here, and interesting ones two, including some cool henshin, the continued History of the Belkan Empire, more Aurion goodness, awesome villains, mirror characters, and a well-written sibling pair, not to mention an ALIEN Oh, and I nearly forgot the riotous insane ecchi Device
Damn, lots of awesome stuff here
