Gundam
does anyone think that Gundam Musou will only be released in Japan, or are these suspicions mine and only mine?
The last few gundam games haven't had a lot of mobile suits in them either Why? I thought these next gen consoles were good enough to handle more MS!? Last edited by supperrfreek; 2007-02-25 at 17:46. |

Well, there are a lot of Gundam games that were released in Japan only, so it's kind of hard to say. Still, I think it will be released outside of Japan, though.
http://ps3.ign.com/articles/767/767135p1.html They said they wanted to sell 2 million WW, then changed it to 1 million WW. I doubt they could reach that goal by just releasing in Japan, given the low PS3 software sales over there. |

thanks but I doubt it will be as successful as they think here in the US. I think if they're going to release a game in the US they should use features from armored core while having the library of mobile suits from manga and anime as well as certain variations. Also there should be plenty of game modes, multiplayer, story mode, and a royal rumble like mode.

well they did release Gundam Crossfire in the US. Musou may not sell as well as it would in Japan, but sales are sales, especially if they're trying to reach 1 million WW. No way will they hit that in Japan alone with that particular Gundam game on the PS3, maybe if it was on the PS2.
However, maybe you may want to look up Gundam Troy, since you seem to to be crave the multiplayer mode. Its pretty much will be like battlefield, where you can run around and either fight as a foot solider in FPS mode with guns, or hop in a Gundam or other vehicle in fight in that. It will be online as well. |

Gundam Musou is awesome. I'm really enjoying Original mode. I'm doing Domon's story right now and he's teamed up with Rain, Zechs, and Ple against from what it looks like... Camille, Loran, and Haman. It's weird but awesome.

My import store gets all the Japanese releases a day or two earlier before Japanese street date.
Seriously, this game is a Gundam fan's wet dream, especially original mode.

Senjou no Kizuna players?
I don't really want to start a new thread - since I'm not sure how many people actually play this here - but are there anyone here who plays the arcade game "Gundam: Senjou no Kizuna"? It's a Japan-only arcade game using Panoramic Optical Displays, or PODs, so English speakers are a bit rare on the ground here.
At 500 yen for 2 games, it's rather expensive, but it's probably the closest a person can get to pilot a MS in a FPS for now. Edit: Yes, there is a GameFaqs forum for it also. Edit: Added YouTube video. Unfortunately, it's pretty terrible quality...
