In the second video... there's red lyrium growing out of the floors and walls and ceilings and everywhere, and Dorian only goes "What in Andraste's name is that?!" when someone loots a shard of it off an enemy? Dude, you've been walking past columns of it that are taller than you are. Are you BLIND?
Also, someone in marketing clearly had a hand in choosing where to end that video.

Or is that the Inquisition rendering of the Warden with Hawke ?
The deep voice heard during the trailer, talking about how the Maker doesn't exist and how they should bow to a new God, strikes me as likely being from the Big Bad for Inquisition and who's behind the tear in the Veil.

Oh... watched again and they just had a very manly hair style and with the tough qunari face shape it looked like a guy. XD when I first saw it I was like " The hell? You can make a skinny male qunari?" lol

Western aesthetic's always been more gritty and tough, while Asian (esp. Japan/Korea) is more fine and pretty. I assume if the skin/features rendering was tweaked to meet more Japanese standards, the party would look more romanceable. PS. I notice a lot of Western gamers always like making their males look as rough and macho as they can, with enough wrinkles, facial hair and big beards to pass off as a WWE wrestler. |

Well... after watching that vid....
i) Armors are no longer boring, you get stuff like resistances. DA2 armor was pretty much just... armor... ii) Crafting will allow some very interesting min-maxing... I do expect most of the items to be more or less useless iii) Bioware isn't exactly good at balancing the game, giving players the ability to craft items might just make mid-late game an even more of a cakewalk compared to DA2... And yeah... I dont think I am interested in any of the girls in the DA universe.... |
