I'm not aware that Hunter x Hunter manga has been licensed (not an English translated version at least).

Well, it was licensed to a french company called Kana, they only distribute their manga in Europe as far as I know and the translation is in french.

I'm not sure where exactly the anime ends, but if its called GI Final, then its likely it ends at the end of the Greed Island Arc.

The last Greed Island chapter is 184, and chapter 185 is the lead in to the new arc. Hope that helps

Haven't been excited by Hunter x Hunter since the bug arc began. To be honest, this arc has been nothing but a huge mess.

This new Queen (there's now a DBZ-Cell-like King, a Lion King and now a Scorpion Queen) has killed someone from Meteor Street, and Meteor Street has a policy of revenge against the death of any of its inhabitants, hence they ask the Ryodan to avenge their brethen. Now I just hope Togashi doesn't go off killing off the Spiders, especially Shalnark and Shizuku (or even Boronorf, the bandaged guy who never really did much ). These guys need more character development, and it would be too premature to kill them off by mere bugs. Only Kurapika can kill the Spiders!

The bug arc has been an absolute mess, and his near-monthly release doesn't help the situation.

FJ would be a FOOL to kill off his popular bad guys so easily! I am disappointed, however, that there was no sign of Kuroro...didn't Hisoka find that guy from GI to do the Ren-removal like a while ago?! Hehe, I personally don't like Shizuku that much, but I definitely don't want to see Sphinx, Feitan, and Shalnark die! >_<

I take it back, it seems Viz has licensed the manga of Hunter x Hunter after all.

Vol 1 has a publishing date of April 5, 2005, see the entry at Amazon for Hunter x Hunter.

This mean no more requests for scanlations here on AnimeSuki.

i very much doubt the Spiders will have any trouble with this new bug. she's a stage 1 bug so she's about the same level as Ramott. and Killua pasted him like he was nothing, so i dont see anything stopping the Spiders from doing something of a similar fashion.
