The yuri was strong in this one. Seriously thought they were going to kiss there

As expected, nobody died, but the fact Sayaka received no penalty whatsoever for losing was quite the cop-out. Well, Yumeko had fun so she doesn't mind.

One thing that both Sayaka and the viewer forgets is that this was a gamble. That means there's always an element of luck. There's no way just winning the little race to the flower and back was all there was to it. That wouldn't be a gamble. It would just be a race. In a way, whether the "loser" could pick the right door or not was the true gambling game all along. For instance, when Kirari explained the game last week's episode, she explicitly said "pick the right door and you live." That was the true essence of the game.

I didn't remember Kirari saying that. There was good enough foreshadowing then.

I guess that's a good enough explanation for it then, it's not a plot hole, it's just "luck"

Yes, she should have died when Kirari fell on her.

I have no idea what's going on, but I'm loving it regardless. Looks like Batsubami finally shows her true self. Yumeko giving Ikishima the silent treatment is also hilarious...and scary.

I guess it is just as well that Batsubami's fangirls were not present or they might have fainted.

I knew Batsubami's hiding something, what I didn't know was that she's a girl

Nah if you look closely either Kirari fell head first or they fell side by side, they could've still been killed if the safety mat wasn't big enough or they fell on the concrete surrounding the tower, not the field of flowers.

No that was pretty clear from the start,I thought. The real twist would have been her actually turning out to be male.

I love this show. You never know how the crazy is going to come out, just that it is going to. I am going to miss it.

At the beginning of the first season I wondered if Suzui was actually some kind of secret boss instead of just a view point character since he seems so out of place. From his actions early in the show it seems like his parents are not wealthy enough to buy him into the school so he almost has to be there on some form of scholarship and yet we never see any sign of the talent that got him into the most prestigious school in the world. I mean we learn more about throw away one shot characters then we know about one of the main cast. We even know more about Yumeko "girl of mystery" herself then we know about Suzui. Maybe he is just supposed to be Yumeko's Dr. Watson but if so you would think we would get some kind of backstory for him.

That should be obvious at this point.

Not even Yumeko gets much in the backstory department, and if you want Mary's backstory, you have to read her spin-off manga. I wish there was more backstory in general, but alas....

It went over my head, girls were falling for "him" after all, and he's exactly like those ikemen androgynous types

Man, they really are going for an anime original ending.

Last episode is gonna be the next, so I doubt it's going to wrap everything up.

So did was a girl all along...obvious but was androgynous enough to pull it...

Still amazing gamble, seems that clan is that way to domination

Sneaky Yumeko....putting back chips into circulation

I want season 3, i just love this cast

8.5/10 anime, is not perfect but hella fun

I don't think you're entirely fair about the games. Except the coin toss in the end, that was boring. And the tower thing. It was a disproportionately expensive way to have easy math riddles.

But the other games were somewhat interesting in their designs.

I don't know why Rei didn't just quit, though. She should have been ready to do that as soon as the others united against her and found a way to make a profit.

man, why do they have to end the seasons with such awful original ends instead of trying to bridge the source material?

Overall Season 2 was even better than 1, but it's these original endings are so anti-climatic and non-sensical.

At least Rei's backstory enable us to learn more about Yumeko and her family. Pretty much the only thing of worth that came out of it. Everything else was invalidated, with Yumeko losing all the votes she gained to random people.
