Seriously. What does your evil character WANT? Because if you think just because you are evil that it is okay to be invaded by Dragons, I do question your character's sanity. Evil isn't suppose to be stupid. Dragon Invasion = bad for you. That's all there is to it. There isn't some silly alignment rubbish where the dragons are going to be your best friends just because you are evil.

I'll kill the dragons, but not because I want to save the world, but because I don't want to be killed by them ;<. But I don't have to do the main quest, whatever it is, to '' save the world ''.
Well I don't know really if the base setting is saving the world but .. we'll see. Just one week left. Quote:
Did any of you guys play New Vegas? Do any of you remember the bugs at the launch of the game? The stuttering/crashing issues? And who fixed those? Community.

You are the Dovahkiin, killing dragons makes you absorb thier essences and powers you up. The more dragons you slay, the more powerful you become. Simple as that. And after all the dragons are dead, you can go around and burn the world (or at least Skyrim).

"evil" really works as selfishness at the expense of everyone else and what you think you can get away with.
"No one is looking. Hatchet that woman and take her necklace. No witnesses." "Probably shouldn't take on the guards UNLESS I can nuke them all and then rape the villagers... then burn them all. No witnesses" Calculated evil... oh and occasionally pet a puppy and give a kid a lollipop just because it amuses you.

The main problem was that most bugs and glitches were caused by the game engine. I do agree they always did an half arsed job though if they did fix everything then they might as well post pone the release another half year. Most bugs and glitches are found when people decide to try everything, as in a more than the usual testers even bother on trying.
Besides community has always been a strong point for Elder Scrolls; I mean mods, mods and more mods everywhere. This is reason enough to buy the pc version and also not the steam version since last time it a lot of mods did not run because of the hur dur security Steam has. Don't know how it will play out this time, because you need Steam regardless to activate it (I've never used Steam before >: ). I did hear that about 50 crackers are already sitting on the pirate ship haling in the treasure as soon as it comes out. As for story, yes it sounds cliche but I would play it because of the lore and because the world it is set into is quite interesting. |

Sub-contracted derivative works always have issues. Like how Bioshock 2 was considered inferior to 1 because of sub-contracting.

The last Bethesda that crashed every 3 hours or so for me was Fallout 3. The thing I disliked about Vegas was that it was just so darned boring, I explored every aspect on the map and the amount of random quests were too small for me. As a modeller junkie I just want to dig in and see what they did, not even starting on gameplay so far. |
