Better they delay it rather than put out an inferior product. They know they have a hit on their hands so they have to take care.

I dunno, sometimes even the most slam dunk adaptations end up embarassing themselves regardless of how much time they have. It should be a solid series whenever it does air though.

For romcoms we've got:

- Duke of Death season 3

- An Archdemon's Dilemma: How to Love Your Elf Bride

- Date A Live Season 5 (even if it's more Battle Harem than explicitly a romcom)

Is that a romcom? Astro Note looks intriguing but I dunno about the 90s aesthetic. I guess there's the old couple that turns young again if that counts... and maybe the angel harem. Mostly I'm looking forward to CGDCT and yuri at this point.

In fairness DAL does hit a lot of romcom beats if only artificially so when Shido is trying to get a Spirit to fall for him .

Astro Note feels like a romcom in the sense of shows like Maison Ikkoku .

I forgot about the One Room show .

Honestly I think it makes sense to back away from Spring. That season is packed! Sure, it might not be super heavy on romcoms, but it's super heavy on everything else! Just on pure volume it's a bit crazy.

Though I was kind of looking forward to this one. It's not a big deal waiting until Summer.

The visuals and voice acting are on-point! I love how Sumipe's tone of voice changes when she's talking sweet in Russian !

She uses her Anastasia voice (from Cinderella Girls) when she speaks Russian.

I've noticed lately that a LOT of Russian girls in anime have white/silver hair and blue eyes. I think I kind of get where that comes from, Russia = snow, so you give them white hair.

I completely forgot about that. Others examples include Kud in Little Busters, Tessa in FMP, Zoya from Akiba Maid War, Katja from Seikon no Qwaser, etc...

I'm ashamed I'm only noticing this trend now.
