Now that's more like it, back to manga stuff. I like that they expanded the forest section a bit so that we could see everyone in action against the rock monsters. And talk about training from hell, having to fight their way through the forest for over six hours.
If Eraserhead is smiling, that is not a good sign. I look forward to their training, though too bad looks like another villain interruption is coming up (based on all the preparations we've already seen). |

Oh Mineta, never change.
I liked episode 2 with the introduction of Kota and the Pussycats. It even gave a little bit about his background story for Kota so it'll be interesting to see his role this arc. Also, after listening to the OP song a few times, I think it's becoming one of my favorites for this season.

Good action in this episode. And Mineta is as much of a pervert as ever, with his quirk being perfect for the situation.
The meat of the arc will obviously be the villains' impending attack. Kota is also going to be important, apparently. Deku needs to bring his smile back.

Finally got around to watching the 2 episodes out. I'm finally seeing what all the hubbub about the OP and ED of this part of the season are. The ending is alright, but not the best. The opening had me sold until towards the end, where the song felt like it should have kept on going when the animation was clearly finishing.

Interesting start to a new arc. The Pussycats are okay but nothing I haven't seen before. (I like the redhead, but the blonde's archetype has become really annoying in anime so I don't really care for her whole shtick. Seriously? Who wants to be 18 forever? I am very happy to be living in my late 20s thank you very much. )
It's interesting how they are beginning to go more in depth. I can see Kota's point of view, and because he's young he takes it to the extreme. It's like saying "because both of my parents who were soldiers died in combat and thus I hate all soldiers". You understand his pain but you also understand that he's young and hopefully will eventually be able to see and understand beyond his pain. I thought the forest exercise was funny, though, I'm one of those people who never get off the coach bus (wouldn't that kind of bus have a bathroom on it?) so I might have just missed the exercise. The kids start off great, yet it still takes them a very long time to get to their destination. I give major congrats to the girls who are able to do all that fighting in uniform skirts. I can tell you 98.9%% of the students in schools in the US would revolt if they had to wear their school standard uniforms for such a time, and the parents would be right behind them (those things are NOT cheap). The villains are also on the move it seems, so we'll see how this is going to go. The kids are going to learn how to exercise their quirks. It's time to do some learning!

Villain movements proceeding smoothly, but while Eraserhead says that the students have improved mostly mentally, IMO they acted in a very, very wrong way: going all out against what was basically obstacles instead of going around them and preserving their strength. The objective was to reach the lodge, not have an endurance contest against a pro hero who summons rock golems en masse. I would have failed them all :P
Anyways, it's a good start to S3, and a good place for me to pick this up. I haven't watched the two previous seasons, so the first episode was a good way to refresh my knowledge from when I'd picked up the manga. |

The creatures were actively seeking them out though. Defeating them seems to make the most sense, especially if you have the ability to. Especially if you're working as a group. Ignoring them would require the class splitting up, which might work out badly for some members, especially since teamwork is considered a big part of being a hero in this world.

Well, I wouldn't say that people should get married at a certain point. It's just that, if you plan on ever getting married, statistics show you're going to have a harder time the older you get, as the pool of potential spouses gets smaller and smaller.
