I would suggest the Fan Creations sub-forum for want of a better place. Maybe the posts should be moved out of here and a new thread be created. |

I'd probably do it right now, except that I cannot figure out what to title the new thread. Anyway, please stop the discussion or else tell us what the title of the thread should be. Either way, I'm happy.

http://forums.animesuki.com/showthread.php?t=50534 In such threads, people ask about an effect in particular and then move on and leave the thread forgotten. Perhaps a merge of the posts here with a new title for the thread? Photoshop help or Graphic Designers Q & A could work as a title; Anything not directly related to signatures and avatars could go there, me thinks. >_< Either way, sorry for the derail here (guess I was the one that got carried away the most)

Question about stylistic cues in anime:
I've noticed a current trend with fang characters. Not demons or the like - regular characters. To list off the top of my head Lucky Star (Misao, Nanako Kuroi) Haruhi (Tsuruya) Excel Saga ( Excel) Ikkitousen (hakufu) etc etc, there's a few more but these are from the more popular series'. Now I know certain visual cues portray certain character traits ie the aohige (sp?). Is it just that-a stylistic thing or is it supposed to depict some sort of character trait.

Makes sense - I was trying to connect the dots but I didn't think hyperactivity. A couple of them had very obvious similarities (simpletons: Misao, Hakufu and Excel), but Tsuruya and Kuroi sensei kept throwing me off. Overly enthusiastic seems to work for the lot. I don;t recall this being as predominant in pre 2000's anime as well so I assume its a fairly recent stylistic development.

Both, but "sempai" is the easier pronunciation for English speakers. The "n/m" sound in "sempai" is very soft and slightly held, similar to the way it's spoken in Japanese, if you pronounce it like an English word.
Technically, "senpai" is the right way to write it, since ん and ン are both written as "n", like in "gomen" (ごめん), you'd never see "gomem".

I made a mediafire account so I can share some stuff, but I was so sure that you can link your file page so anyone can look at what you have to download (instead of linking each in every individual file), but I cannot find that in their faqs. Or is this just a mistake I made.
another-- Is there an Ascii with a down arrow? nvm, I just stole Jinto's down arrow. Though I would still like to know the Ascii command for it though.

At the "My File" tab you can see your files, Create a new folder and put everything in it that you want to share. And than put Sharing Mode on Extended Sharing. You will see a Share behind your folder now. You can now share the whole folder.
