FLOW Dragon Ball Z "CHA-LA-HEAD-CHA-LA"

My friend says in his theory Goku will use the Genki-Dama and absorb it like in the Super Android 13, along with Vegeta and their sons thus SS3 Goku, SS3 Vegeta, SS3 Gohan, SS3 fusion Gotenks.

What do you guys think?

^ Having Vegeta and Gohan become SS3 just for this movie would be silly, I feel. It should be a single warrior that takes down Bils. That person should be Gogeta. Of course, everything depends on how powerful Bils really is.

Sounds more like what I used to wish when I was a kid but now I don't want to because the characters are already ridiculously overpowered.

Gogeta is the most likely end. However, there's nothing weird about Vegeta going SSJ3. He's had that transformation in video games for a few years now (along with Broly). Gohan, however, shouldn't even have Super Saiyan, since he's Mystic, so SSJ3 would definitely be ridiculous.

That's all fanmade, though ("what if" scenarios, if you will). But it doesn't really matter if Vegeta still can't go SS3, because fusions render that incapability void.

I wouldn't call them fanmade, since they're in officially licensed games. You know, just like Super Saiyan Bardock. And that never ended up being canon. Oh wait.

Future Trunks also went SSJ3, but it'd be hard to include him in canon stories anymore without him being the focal point of the story.

"That never ended becoming canon." The true is that Toriyama didn't even write Bardock but he like the backstory so he wrote in the Namek arc when Frieza saw Goku.

He got a published 3-chapter manga in Shueisha. It was co-authored by Toriyama and Naho Ooishi, and the fact that it was a published manga would indicate that it's likely canon.

At the very least, he'd be more canon than any of the movies or anime filler.

Dragonball Kinect video game has a short ova of Bardock surviving Freiza's blast be falling to a alien planet and turning SS1 protecting the people there from one of Freiza's tribe.

Dragonball games have Vegeta and F.Trunks in SSJ3. I agree on Mystic Gohan, I told my friend he's already has his own powerup not needing to become SSJ3 which he doesn't even need to be SSJ anymore as seen in games it's either that or SSj2.

The spin off manga Dragonball heroes have SSj3 Goku, Vegeta and Trunks fighting along side the hero.

I prefer Gohan in his Ultimate Gohan stage. I think that was the best part of the Buu arc cos there wasn't spam of energy beams, fusions or other overthetop transformations.

Just punch, kick, it's all in the mind. XD

Agreed there. I was really surprise in games you can choose either SSj2 gohan or ultimate Gohan. The reason why I also prefer ultimate Gohan is that he doesn't use ki beams and he's more of a heavy hitter martial artist and not counting kamehameha.

SSj3 Gogeta finally being animated on the big screen, crosses fingers.

I'm curious to see how Piccolo will be used in this movie. He's my favorite character, so I'd like to see him have at least a decent role.

Sad thing is that Piccolo became kind of useless after the Cell saga and was almost a comic relief in Buu. I think he is even Toriyama's favorite.

^If Vegeta, Trunks, and Broly, can get power ups, I don't see a problem with Piccolo getting the same treatment. It seems that canon and continuity are no longer paramount in Dragon Ball as far as Toriyama and Toei are concerned, so they can easily make Piccolo a formidable contender again.

Originally in the Buu saga Toriyama wanted a Majin Piccolo, editors said fans would love a Majin Vegeta instead. Fan favorite over Toriyama's fav character. I'm guessing here Piccolo will probably play a role where he gets info on Bills and his weakness. I'm also betting there will be like a 10 day period of wait like in the Cell games before the Z-fighters fight Bills again.
