It was a pretty good episode, a lot happened and finally the 4th Shinobi War is officially declared. Mizukage's boobs are bigger this time.

Lot's of information in this episode that lays out a layout for what to come next. teh-he.. "lays out a lay out." Animation wise there wasn't much going on, but perhaps that's the reason why the art, especially the character drawing was above average. An adult looking Naruto is always a plus.



The sequence of expression from left to right in the following on Raikage's face were priceless when he found out Killerbee is all well:


And what did Killerbee think about that?



Bakayaro. Konoyaro. Yay!

I like both of them. Raikage is pure testosterone while Killerbee is the unassuming badass who is currently into Enka.

Madara's plan was so out there, but he is such a good storyteller. My ears are glued to the sound of his voice whenever he is talking. Naruto series has some serious seiyuu talent that brought some of the best characters to a live. There are so many characters that I've liked in Naruto just for the voice alone. Madara's declartion of the war in front of the five Kage in such nonchalant manner was simply out of this world. A visual is in order to capture the effect it had on me:



Episode was enjoyable... well.. until I've watched the preview. One day I woke up and visited the Naruto forum to find out the manga thread has registered over 900 posts and still ticking away. In my confusion I asked Hunter what the heck is going on? Hunter told me to take a guess. I guess this would be the legendary confession that robbed few people their sanity. I'm looking forward to the affect it will have on the next week's episode discussion. Don't disappoint me people.

Though, 10 tails a combination of all tailed beats? Shouldn't it be a 45 tailed?

As for this one, it was pretty damn good even after the fighting cooled down. Nice work on the jinchuuriki/bijuu presentation, Madara's speech was as intriguing as ever, and just how many times do you get to see a declaration of world war in anime? Can't wait for the rest of it^^

I think that each beast is many times stronger than the previous one, i.e. nibi has more than twice the power of ichibi.

1- Jubi is the tenth Bijuu..
2- with each tail the Bijuu gets stronger, that's all there's to the tails..
3- who said that the Jubi has only 10 tails.

Juu = 10.

It's 10 tails. I haven't watched the episode yet, but wasn't his shadow in it? You should've been able to count 10.

Because they are ninja.
And trying to make sense of a world where people can use magical energy to do basically anything is kind of pointless.

Yea naruto definitely has that weird final fantasy 6-7 technology vibe where all tech seems to just be an accessory to driving the plot as opposed to actually existing at a practical level.

But anyway. The way Madara told that story makes it seem like it would also be possible for Naruto or Bee to become the Rikudo sage level 10 tails Jinkuri. Bee probably has the skill, but Naruto has the savior mentality.

But they are both very careless.. Like Raikage and Gaara said. Anyway, next episode will be kind of awkward, Sakura's confession... On the other side, we'll get to see Bee vs Kisame, that will be awesome

I enjoyed this episode a lot- the montage with all the tailed beasts was fly!

I've been looking forward to Sakura's confession a long time- a sprinkling of romance never hurt a plot, IMHO!

I completely agree! Madara's voice actor is phenomenal, I was thinking about that the whole time. Also Sasuke's and Naruto's are spectacular... No comparison with the English counterparts.
