The November issue of Kadokawa's Newtype magazine is revealing on Saturday that Goro Taniguchi (Planetes, Code Geass, Maria the Virgin Witch) will serve as chief director on a new original television anime titled Active Raid -Kidō Kyōshūshitsu Dai-Hakkei- (Active Raid: Mobile Assault Division, Unit 8). The anime is slated for a January 2016 premiere on Tokyo MX and other channels.

Plot Summary:

Set in a part of Tokyo that has descended into a quagmire, the story follows Unit 8 of the 5th Special Public Security Section's 3rd Mobile Assault Division — popularly called "The Eighth" — who don powered armor "Willware" exoskeletons to counter the rise in crime.

Interesting. Just saw this on ANN. An original TV anime coming for Winter 2016 by director of Code Geass.

Unit 8 reminds me of Division 1 from Psycho-Pass so much I think I will foresee many similar things happening to them even though it's too early to say anything, as I believe the former had a much more lighthearted tone from the looks of it, plus Mythos and Liko felt like another set of rejected P-P characters too.

The music sounds okay at least and the first impressions is a bit like Rail Wars!, I just wanted the story to not go downhill this time, the tagline "Bye Bye! Common Sense" doesn't worry me much so far if everything doesn't fall off the cliff.

Felt kinda odd for the pilot episode. OP song is somewhat catchy though imo while other parts felt silly. I mean, the usage of the OST didn't give me a thrilling feel. Although based on the episode, the technology and stuff was interesting in some ways. Kazari seems like somewhat of an interesting character. Otherwise, not sold on this just yet. Lol, the Engrish though. "Excuse me boss!"


Hmm the action was alright I guess. Ending was amusing somewhat. I hope they don't overuse some jokes in this show.

She isn't complaining. She tried to work her brain out so hard also, she is a newbie so basically she does not has any experience so she just speculates and speaks what a newbie could said.
I don't even get why did they give her a Wilwear, she doesn't seem like a good fighter?
