Buying special bread was not as easy as they thought.
Preliminaries will be hard since the competition even has foreign exchange students. They sure trained really hard every day and it showed. Kuroko being considered a kid by that Senegal guy; even being lifted up ROFL Seirin vs Shinkyo! Game time (the best part of this anime). Kagami was doing an awesome job of blocking the Senegal guy's moves.

An exchange student who was accepted for his athleticism rather than academic ability. And my point is that him having an accent, or speaking in broken Japanese is perfectly normal. A lot more so than the "everyone speaks fluent Japanese" you'll get in, for example, Index.

GRANRODEO are returning for the second OP, titled "RIMFIRE"; the ED will be performed by OLDCODEX which basically works as Takao's character song! What's this strange feeling in my chest when I try to imagine the animation sequence we might get for that second OP...!

Kagami & Kuroko = amazing duo
Shutoku High looks like a pretty strong and serious team. That Midorima guy is really dangerous. His long shots are just amazing, he never misses. Playing two games a day will drain their strength. Wonder how they'll counter that "little" problem.

Both teams checking out the competition.
Seems like everyone was a bit tense 'cause of their next game. Seirin vs Seiho! They really struggled in this game. Kagami was amazing as usual, but this will be an intense game.

So not being able to recall the last sports anime I watched decided I needed to watch one and it was between this and Aera no Kishi.
Having read some reviews of AnK, I was inclined to go with KnB. Plus I am a bigger fan of football than I am b-ball but football sadly doesn't make for great spectating as b-ball does in manga or anime. I have read the manga, altho stopped somewhere about 60 or 70, couldn't even tell you what happens as I can't remember any of it until something jogs my memory(same with AnK as well) This so far has been great fun, maybe a little much with Kuroko's "ability" but still good fun none the less. One thing I look for in sports series, inparticular team ones is good camaraderie and KnB has got that. Other stuff I'm liking is the captain, I had totally forgotten about his personality switch and when it happened I was like "s*** wth how could I forget that lol!"(this would be one of them times where my terrible memory comes in handy) Another thing about this is I don't recall ever thinking about "shipping" with this when reading the manga, even tho I almost always do with sports series given the chance where ever. However watching the anime, I'm totally onboard the CaptainXCoach ship. Didn't help that the end card for one of the eps makes it hard to think of anything else I guess for the sake of it I'll throw my support at Kuroko and his many potential "partners" Oh yea and the OST totally rocks! You have no idea how chuffed am I at seeing this, I did actually have the odd thought of that Kuroko at one point when watching this. I know she hasn't got many fans and fewer yet that would place her as top favorite but she is my top favorite character from that series

watching episode 8..
can't help but notice Seiho is very similar to a certain NBA team.. Black colors.. team centers around 3 core players.. -An older big man team captain -a playmaker with long hair (think hard and long about this one, remember pre-2007) -and a bald guy Extremely gifted in defense/team play, not exactly the most athletic/biggest frontcourt (the team captain is the tallest)... heheheh..pretty obvious if you follow NBA.
